  1. Hey guys, I finally bought me a new set of rims on the weekend.....from import monster. SSR Visconti's 19" 245/35/19 +18 offset at the front with Bridgestone Potenza S03 tyres 265/35/19 +25 offset at the back with Continentals I took a couple of pictures here in the office with the iPhone, so I'm sorry but they are not the best quality!!!
  2. Yeah that's right Rianto, the rectangular car park is the one at the pits for the formula 1 when the race is on at Albert Park. Great, we can meet there at the same time as specified before? 2:30pm!!!! Time can always be changed so that we can suit as many of us as we can.
  3. Nice wheels n15m0, they suit the car really well. How much did you pick them up for? What tyres have you got on them and what offset?
  4. Hey Rianto, good on you for ringing around to find out at Garage Cafe. You know, just now I've realised why you said I was getting trigger happy a few posts ago, I didn't even realise that I had posted the same post twice until now, hahaha So how about we meet at Albert Park instead? Around the pits area, there is lots of room there and hassle free parking!!! Are we alright with this or any other suggestions?
  5. We've still got a week and a couple of days It's not this Saturday!!!
  6. How about Saturday 25th of July at say 2:30pm. We'll catch up at Garage Cafe, have a coffee and a chat, etc. Who can make it? If a few cannot make it, we could always make it another day. Let us know!!!

  8. Actually that is a great idea. I have not been there before either, but it looks pretty cool inside, from the website! Garage café Check it out!
  9. The car looks great BLISTC, it is indeed VERY low. If you put a body kit on it, you won't be able to take it anywhere would you? It'll touch every little bump on the road!
  10. Hey Sam, I'm a Chartered Accountant, we can meet and look after your tax affairs at the same time!!!
  11. Yeah, just a meet and no cruise is good!!! Where are we all at? Are we all over the place? I'm in Carlton!
  12. So is anyone up for a small get together and cruise yet? How about say Saturday 25th of July, have a get together and then cruise somewhere. Just to meet some of the other members and socialise in person for a bit! All V's and M's owners that wish to come!!! Any interest this time?
  13. Thanks Elie, Yes, the clear indicators certainly make a difference! That orange colour of the originals just cries over the silver of the car. BLISTC's car looks nice from the pics he's posted here, haven't seen it in person though!
  14. No worries Fox, thanks mate!
  15. I've used Shell V-Power since I got the car 2 months ago, no issues at all. I also used it on my SSS Pulsar with no issues!!!
  16. Hey guys, just introducing my new car. I've posted here on the forum and done quite a bit of research before, so now that I've finally taken some pictures of the V, I thought I'd better introduce myself proper. I picked up the car in late May. It's a silver 2003 coupe AT. Attached you'll find some pics of the car. The rear of the car was inspired by BLISTC, when I was doing research on the forum about the car, I saw his signature and just felt in love with the way the rear looks without the badges!!! I've already has a couple of updates to the car via Chris Rogers. A Garmin GPS has been installed with all Australian maps running from the original screen. Cruise Control and Radio controls on steering wheel also installed. HDTV tuner for Australian TV installed. Changed the orange indicators for the clear ones "Group buy" To be installed: Plenum Spacer "Group buy also" Grounding Kit "Group buy also"
  17. Good watch...thanks Japav for the upload. Yeah the V got destroyed, but of course the other cars are in a completely different category!!!
  18. Hey Benny Le, Thanks for the information. I will chase those two up and see what their prices are!!!
  19. Is that right? Is that in all states or only in your state. Where are you by the way Eldubb?? If that is the case then going for 9" & 10" might be better.....although you could still get away with it!!!
  20. Hey guys, As I understand the software conversion will simply convert the writing from Japanese to English for all in our car options, trip computer, etc., it will NOT fix our navi problem, in that the navigation CD that comes with the car will still be in Japanese and only for Japanese roads, not Australian maps, am I correct? At least that is what I'm waiting for because I already had Chris fix my navi problem!
  21. Yeah mate, exactly same problem I have. Same door too. It is the locking mechanism. Is it an 03-04 by any chance? The locking mechanisms on these earlier ones seem to break often. Chris Rogers, from this forum, will be fitting a new mechanism for me when he comes down to Melbourne in August, it costs a little over $300 bucks, plus installation. At the moment I do the same as you, I either lock the car manually before I get out by moving the latch when the door is open and I'm getting out, or lock it with the key. Unfortunately everytime you unlock it to get back in the car, you will have to use the key for your door. But yes, you're up for a few hundred to solve the problem.
  22. Yeah exactly, the car should be able to deal with it fine, especially without a turbo to worry about. So the question remains, has anyone in Melbourne done it? Some ideas on where to take it?
  23. Hey Mark, Picked up the package from the post office on Monday. Thanks a lot for organising the group buy, fantastic work. I'll be installing it shortly, together with the grounding kit, which should arrive next week.
