That is because your stock solenoid has been earthed, leaving it at a high boost setting permanently. same is on my car. just get a boost controller if u wanna adjust.

Im all too farmiliar with this lol. Well as far as it idleing at 1000rpms, is completely normal till the thermostat closes, then it goes down to 750-800 rpm. But the 1000 to 500 is kinda confusing..might be a vacuum leak somewhere, check all your hoses. check or clean your afm as well,,might just be screwing up a bit. Yeah and IAC valve may just be playing up wen it's cold, check and clean it out Hope that helps cheers

No, didnt get a chance to dyno it. Went to Rank rotory to get it done on thursday but my car was due for a service and not running at its best so the tuner recommended i bring it back after the service. If i still have these ecu's in the next 2 weeks i'll probably dyno one of them. Not sure about the series 2 engine with it.

WTf? $1200? Why would they respray the guards if the bonnet was gonna be a different colour? Usually they would only charge u if the bonnet was to match the rest of the car. for that price, i'd expect the bonnet sprayed, and a new m spec front bumper sprayed and primed. dunno wat places u went to, but if someone quoted me that much i'd take my bonnet off and slap them across the face with it

Hey man I got the same colour skyline and love it the way it is. I did consider paintin the bonnet black but luckiliy got talked out of it. Yeah it does look cheap and you're better off getting a carbon fibre bonnet or maybe modding yours to have vents or something? I'd rather just leave it as is, like i did. Anyway, long story short, dnt paint it black or get a black bonnet, either go c/f or leave it

Ive seen it too many times lol Got a series 1, but sometimes the light comes on just before the final line. It will go on for a bit if im stopped, then go away once i start driving, stay off and then come on and off occasionally when Im on the final line
