  1. Finished work tonight in Ferntree Gully, was headin back home on Burwood Hwy and saw a white series 2 r33, plates were tmg772 i think. Sweet rims on it and it had an SAU sticker on the right rear 1/4 panel, so i kno the guy's on here lol. Cruised side by side for a bit then he turned up stud rd and i went straight
  2. Can be done
  3. yeah mine died at night, i had another one and knew how to do it, but had no light, so i called the useless racv guys to help, and the guy was like " its not a job for us"..all i wanted was a bit of light and some tools..farrken pissed me off,, anyways lol i had to wait till the morning. A few hours should get rid of the pressure,, hope it goes well
  4. hmm, that shouldnt be happening if the car is off. when i changed my fuel pump, i ulled the lines and only a bit came out (this was after leaving it overnight when the other one crapped itself). I think it would only piss out petrol if u change it straight after driving, or if ur ignition is on, but obviously u wouldnt wannna leave it on while u change the pump. goos luck with it
  5. oh, my apologies,, i just havent seen much of the car since that ignition dvd
  6. Ohhk cool, cheers anyway, sorry i didnt see the "melb" part of ur first post
  7. got pics? and how much posted to melbourne? will fit an r33,yes?
  8. Oh really?, i just thought i could just put one on. cheers for that tho,, but do you think at the power level i'm making now, I would need to upgrade? I am happy to keep it where it is
  9. I tried that just before and it made lots of dose noises, but the idle was pretty erratic,, probably coz of the vaccum leak it created
  10. Anyone remember that HVDFLU wrx? seemed to disappear, pretty interesting dyno vid of it here tho lol
  11. Hey guys interesting thread. Just wanna ask, is it time for a new afm? I have a standard rb25 afm (pink label) and got a hi flowed turbo. I made 215kw on 10.5 psi on a stock ecu. Dont really wanna go much further but would like to do a run at higher boost before putting it back to 12psi. Will my afm crap itself soon? Should i go with a z32 just in case?.. cheers guys
  12. I'd say look for it under load whike driving, white smoke usually indicates a blown turbo. but if its not, i'd say get it looked at asap by a place that spacializes in turbo cars. dont jus go to kmart auto or somethin, they'll tell u to go to a turbo plce too
  13. I'll take any seasons that have skylines in them. and u kno i can come pick up,. so let me kno. cheers ben
  14. What do you mean it tops out at 140? u talkin about kilowatts or speed? if it's speed, how'd u do that in ur mate's driveway? But anyway, sounds like a bit of turbo shaft play. I'd stop driving if u wanna save this turbo and get it looked at, or stay off boost. It might be a a small thing *EDIT* Notice any white smoke coming out of your exhaust?
  15. 16. if you havent replaced it yet, i suggest u do if u want better fuel economy
  17. yeah my car does the same thing, but its just the pod filter sucking air in, you can tell the difference between the induction and ur actual turbo spooling
