Congrats on 115, that's over 2x bodyweight. Solid lift!

Starting to get real annoying the people who can discern the difference between flywheel and rear wheel power but can't do the same for torque
-
I've perused history about some nightclubs...

Any AFM will do if you're just gonna hollow it out

Plug it back in and wire to nowhere?

lol how can they sue you if they've admitted fault and had their insurance company repair her car...the claim serves as an admission of fault and I assume there would be an accident report to go with if. Tell em nice try... Leesh still loves her job and wouldn't do anything but teaching...just saying she works quite disproportionately to the pay, as do a lot of teachers. You can say 85k is a good income and it is, but if you have to work two jobs and 60+ hours a week for it, it's certainly nothing special and that's really what a good teacher is doing. Primary and secondary are also different kettles of fish, which might also explain different perspectives. From what I hear there's a bit less extra curricular involvement in secondary.

I think it's all the effort out into helping people only to have them fail in the end anyway...lol

Well I don't wanna be judgemental myself, so it's possible they are both naturally good at their jobs and therefore find it a breeze...also possible they don't put much effort in or care about the kids as much, cause I guess there are some areas where if you weren't passionate about teaching you could find a way to make the job easier - like how much effort you put into helping problem kids, correcting all their mistakes and ensuring they know it to a tee before proceeding. Or how you can get a grad dip and start teaching just off a couple years of tertiary study (many grad dip trainee teachers are shit and have a shit attitude towards the profession). Be interesting if they still hold the same opinions now that NAPLAN is in place!

They PE teachers? Vic would be different to WA in many ways, but unless your teacher friends are putting in significant overtime themselves (and just talking down to others / bragging about how tough they are), I think that's a bit judgemental of them without seeing how hard other teachers might have it. Cause I know Leesh doesn't make it up or exaggerate when she complains about what she has to do! Have had to help with reports and marking and it's a shit task done after the pay clock stops. And I wanna give some of the kids a good hard smack!

I imagine the shit teachers could take holidays whenever kids do, but they certainly won't last long in the profession! I used to want to be a teacher for the holidays at one point in my life, but then I found out they aren't so great lol
-
Can we stop talking about significant others, it's bothering Leesh

Godzilla WAS terrible X-Men on the other hand, good as always.

I'll save Leesh attacking you lolLiving in WA puts her in the most expensive state for ongoing living expenses, it's all relative. There's a reason the FIFOs aren't saving that much money besides blowing it on coke and hookers. Teacher work doesn't end when school holidays start either - popular misconception. They go into work all the time during holidays and spend a lot of their spare time marking work and planning lessons. Not just saying that cause my girlfriend is a teacher, but because I've seen first hand how much she works during the so called holidays; even has to bring work with her when she visits me. Not saying that I don't put in unpaid overtime in a non-teaching job, but it's a guaranteed necessity for teaching. That along with getting treated like ass by kids you can't even discipline or blame for most of the stuff they do. Can't stand up for yourself at all cause schools obsessed with pleasing parents these days and parents think their kids are fkin angel victims. You'd have to really love kids and wanting to make a difference to want to be a teacher!

Also, leave for work at 8:15, get home 5:30 brah here #traveltimeisunpaidworkandawasteoflife

WA teachers are the highest paid in the country. Leesh has been doing it for 9 years so, although a solid income, for the experience and the hours put in it's kind of meager. Should be much more, same with nursing and Ambo workers.

My wrist never hurts But hey, I've been doing it since I was 13

Sounds like my sys admin who spent a whole week ordering CS7 for me, lazy Nepalese shit. Unless shit going down with computers he doesn't really have to do anything. But when it goes down...

Ironically, you won't know if they need the joke explained or not until you show them it...

Mate if you insult my girlfriend I will pick you a metre off the ground and set you gently back down again

Gettin all Schrodinger on this question Can we just agree that the remaining half life of the question will change depending upon someone answering it or not

This is true, but a good tuner won't be knife edging it to a certain percentage and you'll have no issues switching from <10 litres of 98 and vice versa. There's plenty of tolerance in a good tune, enough that I've been able to give my car stick after switching without issue. So my E85 tune isn't radical up top, but I still have an extra 40rwkw in the midrange to muck around with. Some of the guys in the ethanol thread tried to tell me that my E85 tuned engine was going to detonate from accidentally copping a tank of 70% lol
-
Shit excuse, Simon. E85 conversion need not be permanent. I've done the country trip on ethanol before, you just need to fill back up with 98 when the tank gets below 10 litres and switch to your heartily rich 98 tune that will run it fine. As for DECA, if I wanted to do it I'd just switch back to 98 and drive up there on that, then do the event on that. If I wanted to do it on ethanol, it would take a little planning but I'd drive up on 98 with a couple gerrys of ethanol and swap it in when the 98 was low enough. Then same as above when coming home and stopped at a servo with 98. Adding to Scotty's post, I've never had an issue with my Nismo 555s.
