  1. Yeah. Some of the criteria applied to me, but not too much for the reason I'm getting the ABN. Which I now have!!! Clapper Light Switches on order now $50.
  2. Yeha I'm getting one right now. Nnot sure if i should get one as a contractor or not...
  3. Like the title says. I'm looking at starting a business up and selling some of the gadgets that i make... Above board... I am designing and building the "clapper Switch" to comply with all the Australian standards that it relates to, so that I will be able to sell it legally and will be covered if shit hits the fan. In doing this I have to have the Supplier/Manufactures name and ABN on the unit or packaging. But as i don't have an ABN it makes that one a little hard at the moment... Has anyone done this? Or does anyone have any first hand info on getting started? Cheers, Pat.
  4. As steve said, not too practical. The one on the southside is the caltex on drakeford dr in kambah, closest to greenway. Ie not the one at kambah village.
  5. Thanks shell. The skyline's doing well, a volvo would be much more comfortable though... There's a couple of pet friendly housees in Tuross that we hire out. But lately we've been goin up to sancturary point, Jervis Bay. there's heaps of nice places there, the last one we stayed at backed right onto st Georges Basin. Such a nice place
  6. baby steps... Picked it up at a great price the skyline doesn't notice it there at all.
  7. I think organic ones are fine with it. Although you just wear it out quicker. But with the ceramic cushion one i can just imagine all sorts of terrible things happening in there.
  8. Not worried about the car... worried about the clutch. No way Richard. Jetskiis are no good, can't catch any fish from a jetski.
  9. I'm in a situation where i have no choice but to ride the clutch, I try to keep it at a minimum, but it's just not possible not to ride it at times. ie, reversing a boat up a hill... It shudders a lot and makes some ill noises. I'll be getting either a KB organic, or NPC organic at some point. But just wondering how bad it is in the meantime? Cheers.
  10. Crisis averted! It pulled along greatly down the highway. Still get pinned in the seat getting up to 110 pulling onto the Federal Hwy. I even managed to reverse it back up the hill onto my block without the clutch exploding!
  11. Got the PCB's for the clapper back from china. They're looking good!!!
  12. Segway update!!! Frame has been welded up, wheel mounts, motor mounts and bash plate/battery holder will hopefully be done by next weekend And richard, I'm working on Clapper MKII which doesn't need a neutral at the switch. Which makes it about 1000% easier to install into most places
  13. Well it turns out i now have a towbar on the line.... Not sure if it was a good decision, but at least i can now combine 2 fun things into 1. unbelievably hard to manouver. flamin mongrel of a vehicle. The exedy HD clutch is gonna put up such a fight against all of this... Tossing up spending the money on a new NPC HD Organic.
  14. Troy that sux big time! I'm kinda wishing I had have put more thought into removing (then throwing who knows where) my child seat restraint thingys. Mitch, I'll hopefully have the base, wheel and motor mounts build tomorrow. My welder mate has done up plans and has all the measurements. But I've kinda been a bit side tracked making this clapper light switch...
  15. Nar dog, too many loans at the moment. house loan repayments are massive!
  16. Yeah, my poor shit house van. That the best option, just gonna cost heaps, and i don't have that money at the moment
  17. Richard I just can't bear to move on from the skyline completely... hmmmm. 3rd car?
  18. It's great. Not annoying, just takes 5mins of idling and a slight shudder when the maps swap, then you're off!
  19. The only thing really holding me back with the 34 is the clutch, it would be totally terrible for towing and launching boats, that and possibly having to keep the revs up to stay in the powerband on the highway with a boat cruising along behind, I'm not sure how it would go though, it might be great... Thanks for the Advice, the C35 would be better for towing wouldn't it?
  20. Finally someone bridging the gap for the little guys hey!
  21. Yeah dude i must be getting old... Unless i can get a towbar for the 34 for a little while until we can work out another way of doing stuff. Gotta fit myself, Nicole, 2 big dogs that take up the whole back seat, all the other crap that needs to be brought and a boat... Because canberra sux and going to the coast as often as possible is a must. Also we're buying a boat next week And having a boat in the garage and not having a car to tow it to the coast is gonna be fair shit!
  22. As the title says, I'm needing a more practical car (one that can tow the boat) and what better way then to have the best of both worlds with a stagea. My r34 GTT. 1998 R34 GTT. Manual. NEO engine with 102ks. 100k service done. Hypergear G2 FNT Turbo. NIStune ECU with duel fuel maps. Run NIStune from the "stereo" CarPC and change fuel maps at the servo. Wideband O2 guage for self tuning ability. 270rwkw on PULP98, tuned by Autotech. 290rwkw on Ethanol (E-Flex), tuned by Autotech All power upgrade supporting mods done: 550cc injectors. Blitz Turn Flow FMIC. Genuine Walbro 255lph fuel pump, with full voltage mod done. XForce 3" full exhaust with Loboka 100CPI Cat. Varex 3" Muffler with custom valve button on the dash. 3" Metal intake with pod. R34 GTR wheels. Slotted rotors with redstuff pads and braided lines. adjustable coil overs. Also have the original shocks to chuck in with the sale. After 18K, or swaps for a 2003+ M35 Stagea. Anyone?
