  1. TY. got the Fezza races done today. not too hard. the full Eifel track is fun
  2. yeah the AI...and the speed they drive the cars at is strange and random. certain cars that should be fast just arent when a B spec driver is behind the wheel. My Tommy ZZII for example. i can drive it round quite fast, but my B spec driver is useless at it. 666 performance points and it couldnt win the first enduro....lol
  3. there are companies that specilize in written reports on cars (other than RACQ) that do a really good job. right down to compression check magnetting for bog etc etc. i had this done for my GTST. so i would def do it for any GTR. it might cost you a few hundred. but they are very thorough and probably still cheaper than the flight.
  4. my thoughts exactly...i almost hurled seeing that wierd bluey green airbox...lol. and yeah def get it
  5. do the o2 sensor anyways if you havent. pull the AF meter out and clean it. by the sounds of it you need to get it tuned if you have black smoke poring out the back that you can see. other than that its a good idea with any engine not to push it too hard while cold. but you shouldnt have to wait till its on the half way mark. how big is the turbo??? its not just turbo lag is it? has the car been doing this since you got it? or is this a new development?does it idle normal?
  6. sweet, TY!!!!! i will repay with plenty of remote Bspecness. BTW i cant use the fezza till tomorrow so leave it up till at least then plz
  7. if your paying your own taxes this is a bad idea....i got stung after 4 yrs for over $10.5k. one yr occasionally wont hurt tho.
  8. i have one and am not happy with it.....but its still better than any other alternative. its an awesome toy app device, and awesome at messaging....but as a basic phone......not happy. considering it should be a phone first and foremost. thats my only gripe with it
  9. add me too so i can borrow it PSN: Resnort
  10. lvl, and winning and loosing is irrelevant from what ive seen, if anything the lowbies get more money and XP just for being amongst the higher lvl drivers. will add you tonight beerbaron. ive been thinking about buying a Fezza F1 car before the seasonals close...but am unsure if its worth it. anyone know what the prize money is for winning them?? or how hard it is. the Formula GT is the hardest car to drive well (other than the X2010). i guess i just dont wanna buy it just to find out the money is far to little....or realize i cant win in it anyways and totally wasted my money. is the 787B really that hard to drive? how is it compared to the Minolta? love those things...and def going to buy the 787B soon anyways. its the Formula cars i have troubles with atm....esp with 1 buggered wrist.
  11. sry short attention span. TECHNICALLY its wrong, and i do agree with you there. but considering up until the latest GTR (and apparently the ZR1) nothing has been able to catch that backwards piece of crap around the ring for the last how long???? longer than i care to think back...so maybe its not so wrong? power down for example in a rear engine RWD car is awesome...i just think theyre good at what they do
  12. really???? im sure Porsche know what theyre doing. and im sure many of them there have brains...as much as i love the GTR.....id choose the Porsche anyday.
  13. i'd say give him a medal for fastest harbour bridge crossing. or just a stamp of approval
  14. that is a whole lotta tyre!! nice
  15. mum says hi back, and you can come pick up your panties any time yeah just bought a bottle of plastix, 1 sheet of 2000 grit, and thats about it. platix has the protectant in it apparently, thats why i bought it over scratchx. total cost $23. and im sure it will do alot more headlights than the kit does for $40 the plastix should do most of the cleaning anyways. and ive got a clean aplicator pad here anyways so im set. oh, and dont forget to get some masking tape for around the bumper and grill so you dont sand and polish it.
  16. ive searched like crazy but cant find it. someone has a full write up on doing this to his R34 without buying a very overpriced kit. just alot of elbow grease and the right products............anyone know where its gone? ive read alot about just polishing them....but the more you polish the faster and worse it comes back.
  17. wow. thats a bit strange pull it apart and find out i guess. remove the interior trim and start pulling it apart till you find something broken. you might need just the latch part in the door....shouldn't cost to much
  18. if im not mistaken, it comes on rolls like fiberglass. you wont get it 5 meters wide i dont think.
  19. so i been looking at joining the club too. good to know not to get impatient or worried if i get no reply looking forward to getting to more events etc!!!
  20. oh now its just making fun of me.......put me in that exact colour for one of the online B-spec races. straight after i posted my rant....dam you GT...
  21. and theyre slightly done up, you get 5 of them straight up that you couldnt afford for quite some time otherwise yeah the UCD is lame like that......still waiting on my 400R. im starting to think it might have to do with which cars you buy?? not sure tho. just an idea...stupid 400R....grrr
  22. lol indeed...first example he could come up with. and apparently it "more than replicates" the actual wood???? so its more real than real wood? cool process tho i wouldnt think carbon fibre would look to good like that tho, carbon needs to look like it has thickness imo
  23. lol, thats it. the X2010 does the entire dream car series in about an hour. 84+ grand a race and 433g for winning. not bad money...alot better than the useless enduros. i think this will be my cash cow. other than the remote B speccing, thanks guys picked up more than a mill tonight. and been setting up races all night.
  24. I did exactly what your doing now to my Beetle yrs ago. it made a huge difference in sound and heat inside the car (external oil coolers and thermos under the back parcel shelf and solid mounted engine and gearbox). it made it almost bearable in daily use. go the subs, and leave some nice 6's in the back. 6x9's are over rated. and aparently a bit of a squeeze in a liner without making a whole new shelf or spacers etc.(don't cut the parcel shelf itself)
