  1. Whichever company you use, pay for the better service, like "prestige vehicles" or some shit. CEVA did a great job moving my Cefiro from seller's driveway in Queensland to my driveway in WA, $1580 odd in a little under 10 days, and protected 90% of the way, but the car is just under legal height and copped some damage to the chassis rails on its way over, something I wasnt impressed by at all. Should have paid a few more bucks for them to give it extra attention, if I'd know that was going to happen.
  2. OK, so it's my favorite time of the month - the day when I get paid for last month's work. I've got some cash up my sleeve, and want some coilovers. Since they're for street use, I want something street friendly, but with some adjustability for occasional track work until I sort out the other Ceffy project which will have said suspension and bullshit power. My options are between Tein, HSD, 12kg Teins from a mate, or K-SPORTS. I've looked around and found little reviews in the way of K-SPORTS, of the few I did find, I haven't read anything negative. I'm interested in K-Sports since theyre alot cheaper and available to me at trade price, but before I go and poor a few grand out of the pocket, has anybody in WA used them? what're they like, good shit? bad shit? I also understand K-SPORT sponsored Borneo + his Ceffy back when he was running that, and have adjustable camber, which is another couple of points I guess ?
  3. The floor on my garage is uneven so I cant quiet measure it properly. 1cm height difference from one side to the other and I'm sure thats the floor. the whole underside of the car is looking sad. The rails where you're meant to jack the car up rom, all that is bent in, cracked/split and got some rust, the rails are f**ked, shitloads of dirt and corrosion around the rear cradle. Gotta pull it all out, give it a massive clean, straighten/fill, and re-coat it in sound deadener and paint. Good fun ahead. Also got to rebuild the Cefiro loom. Got some more money setbacks, forgot Christmas is coming up and my return to hospital trip for my second operation has been moved forward to this Thursday, so I’ll be having 2 odd weeks off without pay. Ah well, plenty of time to pretty up the car I guess. About 90% the way through engine bay work, so not long now – once that’s all back together, some light panel work, paint, glass, exhaust and she’s ready.
  4. ^^ If you end up buying, let me know, I might be chasing some shit and Jason is also after carpet and roof lining, so we may be able to ship all our shit together and save freight costs.
  5. why does it NEED a chrome ? NisWreck, or JapWreck, in SA (also a suer n this forum, but hit up their official site) were wrecking an S2 last time I looked, and it had the S2 chrome grille, give them a hoy.
  6. To update you all. Mold started on Thursday, then they're making the mats - so, production has officially begun
  7. Nope. You get the choice of Series 1, Series 1a, or Series 2. This thread for pics: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fa...rs-t289523.html
  8. Measuring the chassis today to dictate the fate of this car. Measuring from rail to opposite rail, inside and outside, and 5 different points. Also measuring from chasssis to ground at the corners and the same five points and also from corner to corner. Going to take a closer look at the rails on the inside to check for any rust / corrosion, and I'm going to have a better look at the rear cradle - I'm sure its not bolted in properly and is what's causing the wobbles. If its not the cradle I'll have to drop the entire drivetrain and re-assemble it, swap out HICAS and do some more deep cleaning while I'm at it. Anything else I should be looking for ?
  9. Drop the oil, water, and give it fresh fluids, full service and a good long drive. Also just check the oils in your differentials, make sure your hubs still rotate without screaming, etc. It should be alright though. Good to hear it'll be on the roads again man.
  10. Like the one on this page? http://www.7tune.com/mini-feature-a31-nissan-cefiro/ Could be Autech or very late, like S3 ?? Dunno Maybe even S13 Silvia headlights of some kind crammed in.
  11. w00t - I saved you from your own stupidity...except now its not for sale...I was having idea's for a second there to be honest. Good write up man. Nasty habbit having a HPV, pooring soo much money into them, if nothing else, the fun of driving it is well worth it. I'm not phased that I've spent $5'000+ on my build, and only half way to having her barely back on the road, or that its in a billion pieces, its still my baby and I'd take a bullet for it and shoot back at the f**kers...well...realistically I'd use it as cover, but I still love it..dunno why.
  12. Thats acrylic though.....how long does that shit last in the sun? even with 800 layers of clear coat?
  13. A few people in his thread have complained of the same thing. Add him to the known bad traders thread mate.
  14. You put it in your signature - this is a forum...more importantly...the Internet, anything you type is up for extreme criticism, so, yes it is my move, and I say you're JDM sig doesn't make you any more helpful on this topic because you've contributed nothing useful.
  15. No, I wnat that sound, but I want to keep my JDM interior. OK no shit, I am interested in getting a hypo 20, Jason is interested about 100x more and has me at gunpoint on the matter, BUT I want to keep my true JDM import semi driveable for street, ie, include interior and shit.
  16. Jason....man...Num Lock....how much AUD ?
  17. He's got a Ceffy - so we'll assume he doesnt talk through his ass ? x2 for Jason, can you confirm? Nismo back in those days??
  18. Use a GTR front bar, then you dont have to cut and weld the intercooler in. As for pipes, the holes are already there, just gotta cut them out, the threads for the screws are there too.
  19. GTS-T JDM spec R33 infact
  20. You turn the car off and vacumm (intake plenum) is killed, this opens the BOV since the throttle body plate is shut and the spring in the BOV isnt being forced down. Likely to be a problem with that vacumm line from the intake plenum to the BOV, maybe something in there cloggy it intermittently, or the internals of the BOV...dont know too muhc about them, only seen a basic idea of how they work on WikiPedia and that's always been enough information for me.
  21. Also explains why boost creeps up slowly (slightly open), and only reaching 7 PSI (still slightly open). I guess it'd work after a gear shift since its been forced fully open then recloses properly or half properly.
  22. Blow off valve not shutting properly. Make sure the lines to the BOV from behind the throttle body are all on properly, if theyre not, the spring isnt forced down and the BOV is open. If that fails, try another blow off valve.
  23. I bet he's a good aim, but, just before he takes his shot, his driver goes over a speed bump and f**ks it up for him....bugger
