  1. No problems Leon, I've got 2 left. Drop me a PM if your interested in one. Thanks Jayson
  2. Sweet. Yeah I've heard that they twist (or something) to give you more traction. Something like - under power they will twist the diff down a little to give better traction????? Aparently you can set them up for drift too Skyzerr33 - Let us know how it goes. Thanks J
  3. I've recently put 901's on the back of mine (225/50/16) and OMG....... The difference in traction is amazing - although I did have really crappy tyres on there before. I can't really comment on wear yet cause it's only been a month or two. Highly recomended. J
  4. Here ya go... http://forums.skylinesaustralia.com/showth...=&threadid=3066
  5. G'day Leon, I've seen a bloke on SDU selling a factory R33 sunroof for $800. But that didn't include labor, and the big problem was it didn't include the roof lining (which you would more than likely need ). Apart from that, a good electric sunroof (non factory) would set you back about $1500-$2000   Mine hasn't got a sunroof either... J
  6. Are these those yellow donut things that get rid of axle tramp??? Or is it an actuall mechanical diff locker? If it's the donut thingies that you put in your sub frame I'd be keen to know how you go with them. See how much more traction you get off the line... I've already got a locker diff :D
  7. TurboGTST - sorry dude. Damn I need a bigger mailbox That sounds pretty good to me. I'll have to keep you in mind, plus maybe a tune J
  8. That sucks Shell - I would have been fuming..... The damn Government getting easy money. I mean how unsafe is doing 89 in an 80 zone on a three lane highway with no other cars around. Zero saftey risk.. J
  9. Nope, cold air box around the pod filter so it doesn't suck in hot air from the engine bay. Cold air = more power :D Have a look in the ForSales section. I've got some cold air partitions for the R33 GTS-t's that are using HKS filters. You'll see what they look like. J Oh BTW: You'll still hear that Whooosh noise
  10. Cool thanks. I must have put 11 in there
  11. He he he... Naaaa, Braddon was closed off cause someone dumped a heap of oil. So the cops were there with that sand stuff trying to mop it up. We did a few laps of Civic, then out to Kingston via Manuka trying to find the other blokes, but with no luck.... Where did you guys get too?? J
  12. Great turn out, it was good to catch up with everyone. You guys really need to get yourself one of these UHF handheld radios. SilverSlider, James and I were chatting for the whole cruise.. He he he, some funny stuff got talked about.. We lost you guys after the first lap Don't matter. Shell - We drove past your usually hang out place for a Friday and was gunna call in and say high, but then we thought it might not be a good idea cause you'll be in your "druken yobbo" state  So we kept going.... :burnout: :burnout: So when's the next one
  13. Hi guys, I did a post earlier today, about a page or so, through in a few smilies and I get a message saying that I had too many images in my post. I only had about 8 or so. What's the limit on smilies? Of course I hit the back arrow and then found I lost all my text....... Don't matter.. J
  14. The factory boost gauge is way too slow to react to quick changes and spikes. I certainally would use it to set your bleed valve. Plus the factory boost gauge isn't in psi. I think 7 on he factory gauge is somewhere around the 14psi mark. If you want a after market boost gauge that looks factory, have a look at the VDO range. The 52mm ones have -20 Vac through to 25psi, are black faced, black bezel, white numbers and red needle. I think they are around the $150 mark each. I have a twin A pillar gauge holder in mine with a oil temp and boost gauge from VDO, and I'm always asked it is factory cause it blends in well with the dash. But I've been thinking about moving them down to under the stereo....... Hmmmmm, not sure yet...... J
  15. It is possible but what you need to do is solder in a daughter board (extra board) into the ECU. This get's rid of the ROM chip and replaces it with a writable chip. There was/is a fellow on SDU that is gunna make up a heap of boards - check in the For Sale area. As Meg's said, you can use the R32 ECU but you'll loose your VCT stuff (The R32 hasn't got it). Cost wise I still don't know how it would work out. I sent a quick PM to a fellow in Sydney that has done it (can install/program/tune) but I'm still waiting to hear back frm him. J
  16. I've heard that a plastic bottle top off of a 600ml Coke fits !!!! Not sure if I'd do it though
  17. MrSnrub & PVA_Glue, Guys I'm really not sure if the Blitz filter will fit in the partition. The HKS filters aren't very tall but are very fat (round) to increase flow. Have a look at the pic I've attached to this reply and you can make up your own mind if the Blitz will fit or not. The pic is of the partition without the lid on. I'm just not sure cause I've never seen a Blitz filter before  Ben - If your worried about air flow you can do what I've done and cut a hole in the inner guard to let more air in. No crap comes through the hole. I'm sure it would be fine without the hole, but I just wanted to make sure. BTW: the first pic is of the metal partition that I've made, and the ones that I'm getting rid of are foam backed with heat reflective foil, but are excatly the same design. Just so you know. I can make the metal ones if you want, but they will cost around the $150 mark cause I have to buy the metal and it will take at least a few hours to make 1   Looking at the foam I have left, I should have enough for 2 or maaaaaybeeee 3 more. J
  18. Thejackal, Your PM box is full. I'll have it sent off by the weekend. The biggest difference I noticed is when your sitting at the lights for a few minutes. Without the partition the car seemed to take off pretty sluggish and would take about 20 seconds to come back to normal. This must have been because of al the hot air it was breathing. With the partition in, the sluggishness (is that a word?) is gone and there is max power straight away. Just what you need when a WRX pulls up next to you at a red light J
  19. Rev210, So what sort of improvement do you think you've got out of this? Seat of the pants feel that is?? Also - is this stuff safe on our O2 sensors and cat converters? I know that some of the race fuels can kill O2 sensors and cats, but I think that is becuase of their lead content. Thumbs up for Rev210 for the extra power
  20. Thejackal, COD is no problems. I'm pretty sure that COD will only cost you around the $10 mark. Drop me a PM with an address and I can get one off to you by the weekend. J
  21. Hi guys, I've got some heat reflective foam left over from my CAI partition that I done. These will fit a HKS air filter in a R33 GTS-t beautifully (see pic). I'm really not sure if they will fit any other airfilter though, but if you like I can NOT cut the hole for the airfilter. These have a side that is angled and a top. The filter will breath from around the headlight. These are simular to the ones sold for $90 but mine has a top as well Cost is $40 and buy will have to pay postage otherwise I'll make zero money out of it The pic is of the metal one that I made, but the reflective foam is the same design. Whatdoyareckon?
  22. Yeah, 9 or 10ish would be good. Are you guys gunna hang around for a while? SilverSlyder, Yepp, as James said, we both have those uhf radios. We can make it either channel 33 or channel 7. I think the Isaac's repeaters will work from Civic too. Their on channels 2 and 8. But we'll just stick too 7 or 33. Keen to check out some cars. J
  23. It would be good to meet a few of you guys. I'll see what I can do (have to shuffle a few things). Any idea of time/place? J
  24. Look at the tread on those things   Damn nice car too :uh-huh: J
