  1. Saw two Skylines this morning between 6 - 6:30am, it's people like you that give the rest of us bad names!!
  2. Thanks, nah the battery hasn't been disconnected or run flat...I had another look and the doors lock whenever I put the key in the ignition or take the key out. I'm not to worried about it because I can just unlock the door and get out, I just think it's weird that it only just started happening last night...I'll keep an eye on it for now and see what happens.
  3. My car's doors have recently started looking by them self, it seems to happen after I start the car or turn the car off...The car has central locking and an alarm fitted. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks
  4. It's been a while since I've added some photo's of my car, and seeing as there's been some changes I thought I should add some... Not long after I got her... And now with new wheels, carbon grill insert and high mount break light...
  5. Two tone green and cream, R34 parked on Allenby Rd Alex Hills about half an hour ago.
  6. Thats a good point. I will investigate. The car has always had a pod the whole time I have had it. I haven't seen the air temp sensor around so I wonder what they have done with that. Is it an electronic type sensor on this car or a vacuum hose leading elsewhere like some cars?
  7. My r34 has always had a crappy habit which is starting to get a bit annoying. For some reason when its warm its a real pain to start. Seems ok if you start it immediately after driving but after leaving it for 5 minutes (up to about an hour), it can be really difficult and take a fair bit of cranking to get it going. Car is a 98 R34 GTT 5 manual - stock except for 3" cat back, filter and a bit more boost. Problem hasn't really changed and has remained the same in the 2 years I have had the car. Plugs and fuel filter are relatively new, made no difference. Injectors cleaned (on car), no difference. The car starts perfectly when cold and doesn't miss or stutter under boost. Slight intermittent miss at idle like a lot of skylines seem to. Any help appreciated, Renee.
  8. 2 months late but did you end up selling this?
  9. Yep hopefully it stays clear / warm until about Sunday night then the temperature plummets... Going to Naeba looking for snow on Monday but it looks like its going to be a little artificial Warm day in Tokyo today! Looking forward to Sunday, should be good.
  10. Ok cool. Staying at Shinjuku so I figure that makes the train pretty easy. Just as long as buses exist on the other end its all good Not too keen on car hire, no where to put the thing when I get back to the hotel and heading off early monday morning. Looking forward to it anyway!
  11. Alrighty thanks for that. No hope of getting the circuit safari/taxi tickets on the day either I am guessing? From the translated english on the website looks like thats a no hope. Oh well should be a fun day anyway. Is public transport to the track doable?
  12. Grey 34 with a nismo wing at the set of lights on Finucane and Allenby Road Alex Hills. Doing skids away from lights in traffic is not cool!!
  13. My partner and I will be in Tokyo at this time and would be keen to attend. Whats the story with purchasing tickets? Is it ok to get them on the day? What would be the best way to get to the track? More than happy to chip in if anyone has seats available in a van/car. Looking forward to it!
  14. Hey guys, Just purchased some new wheels for my R34 GT-T and am wondering what size tyre is doable for the rear. Front is 18 x 8.5 +30 with 235/40/18 Rear is 18 x 9.5 + 38 - Unsure what size tyre? Any hope of squeezing a 265/35/18 or is a 245/40(?35)/18 a better bet? I am not too keen to roll the rear guards. Car is currently stock suspension but I think I will think about lowering some time this year. Would 235 front and 265 also be too much of stagger with regards to handling and understeer also? Thanks, Renee.
