  1. With a nice reacharound on the side
  2. At those prices I think I'm just going to buy some Alloy Pip and donuts and build it myself Lol.
  3. Thinking the same thing really, Between two aswell wouldn't be such a bad deal with all the costs halved. Of course, there is all the organising and running around this would involve not to mention having to resell.
  4. Mt Nebo ? Definitely fight it, talk to a good solicitor and see what your chances are having it overturned are. Traffic law and traffic police are a joke, don't feel bad about fighting it. Best of Luck.
  5. That's what i was thinking, just have to figure out how to make a loom that fast plugs in and out so i dont get frustrated having to pull it in and out all the time. Although i could just buy the biggest JVC I can find to pump my LL cool J collection...
  6. Guise ?
  7. Awesome, Im going to do this tommorow, do you guys have any suggestions for print stickers like "HKS" on the rear wing of 32 gtr ?
  8. What have people here done in the way of GT-R brake upgrades such as adaptors to fit larger discs, im toying with the Idea of retaining my GT-R calipers but trying to fit a way bigger disc (330mm++) and Am interested to know what people think ?
  9. I'm assuming he means 8F 6R.
  10. Could happen if they decide that they want an actually fast driver to partner dickhead.
  11. As long as it isnt eddie f**king jordan
  12. Ahoi Hoi mateys, Currently my 32 GT-R has no sound system at all, this is because the knowledge that my car is marginally lighter brings me more satisfaction then any music ever could however, I do enjoy my music so I'm interested in seeing what the chaps of SAU think of a removable sound system, a system that whilst designed to deliver good sound, can also be removed at the drop of a hat so that my car might enjoy a lower then usual weight. What will I need, Head unit, speakers amps and Subs ? Is there a way to have a very marginal audio loom that i just plug the various ancillaries into when I want a system, and unplug and remove when I don't ? What do people suggest in the way of equipment, knowing that im not really interested in spending 5000 dollars on speakers, but rather would like reasonable sound for reasonable money.
  13. Three kinds of people when you own a Skyline. People who think your an irresponsible motorist because you drive a skyline People who don't know or car about skylines or cars in general. and finally the third and largest group, those who think your a wanker because you drive a skyline. Be prepared for all the Adidas wardrobe, kebab eating and womans car jokes from Bogans and the general public alike. Lol If i had a dollar for every time I've heard, "your sister wants her car back" and "only milk and juice comes in 2 litres" I would Have an SL65 AMG black as a daily and only drive my skyline when I want to, my current daily is an SR5 Corolla Lol, 4WD power !
  14. The kind of girls that a skyline attracts, are not the ones you want anything to do with, LOL.
  15. ahahahaha Yup.
  16. What in gods name did you use, that looks fantastic !
  17. Yeah the stock ones tend to fail which is generally bullshit, it's really a bit of a joke the whole system, I've been meaning to find a way to shut mine up when I get pulled over as i think i tested it at about 105 at idle..... this is a 4" off a 26 but if I can get it quieter then factory then its a massive win win
  18. Birds, What is the actual noise differential like between open and closed and I ask this of the others not just the Varex, as I've been cautioned about the noise before and to make it legal it would probably have to take a good 20db out of it... ?
  19. Ah, No worries dude yeah definitely no more then 650 for V8 Supercar, possibly up from the old high 500's low 600's figure due to the Ethanol they run these days. F1's quite a bit up and down over the decades due to the FIA dicking the technical regulations every 3 or so years to artificially re zero the competitive ladder. Change in displacements, cylinder count, number of valves per cylinder, control fuel and temperatures fixing the internal geometry of the engines etc has taken alot of the gloss from the sport for us engineering folk.
  20. Guilt feet have got no rythm...
  21. Talk the the guys at GT AUTO, they will be able to sort you out.
  22. I've heard it pretty widely circulated that mid 700's is where its at with the Merc engine probably the pick of the litter, getting up towards 800, this is however BHP I assume. Back a few years ago I believe it was the Honda that was the pick of the v10's early on, quite high 900's being the given figure.
  23. The V8's make over 100hp more then that... I seriously do not see the point in cobbling the engines so much in this way, from an engineering standpoint it makes the development process iterative and evolutionary as opposed to revolutionary which massively increases cost and totally torpedoes your performance/dollar ratio. They can dress it up all they want but F1 will never be a green sport, all they can do is plant some trees, offset their carbon footprint (what a joke) and get on with racing. If formula 1 is really to be a hotbed of automotive development, they are actually going to need the engineers to do some real development, this aside the actual amount of technology that has reached road cars from F1 since it's inception is minimal at best, so why bother ?
