  1. You mean like the YouTube channel? (linked at the top right of your screen)
  2. AFAIK the audio show is 1.00pm to 4.00pm Saturday, some of the MEA:SA guys are also thinking about entering. Although it looks like you may need to pay the $100 entry fee even if you only want to burp?? Will drop Les an email and see what he says.
  3. What does it cost to come up and have a look around on the Saturday? Didn't see spectator prices on the site. Is anyone actually planning to go up?
  4. That's interesting, myself and 3 other mates were in vic at the start of december, when merging on to the highways we all found ourselves needing to force our way in as no one was leaving gaps, as we got closer to the city people seemed to let us change lanes etc more though. 2 of my "mates" (acquaintances) do security work at several clubs around Adelaide, occasionally I'll stand out the front/side/back/whatever with them for a while and talk crap however _none_ of the security seems to want to step in until a fight has broken out and they can throw some punches around, get painted a very different picture of todays "security" crowd when standing on their side of the fence.

  8. +1 for amping the fronts, you won't regret it. Sound deadening is also a must. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...li-t164820.html
  9. 1. Connect the head unit wire to the handbrake, this is the legal route and will only allow video to be played when the handbrake is engaged. 2. Connect the wire to the same grounding point as the head unit, video will always play no matter what position the handbrake is in, also not legal
  10. +1 Atleast it's early knock off and a free xmas lunch
  11. Cops, I've seen uniforms driving around tea tree plaza bus interchange in the same model car with lights as described.
  12. Silver 33 Greenhill glynburn roundabout 5:45, no wave back Black 34 parked near kmart/bigw tea tree plaza 6:45ish White 34 4 door turning on to dene rd 7:00ish
  13. As I said, only IMO, if you don't agree then please disregard. removed reference to cruises, as only "hoons" gather to go on cruises, this mindset has already been placed by the media. older generations (possibly a majour target?) won't relate so well to phrases such as "everyone is always keen" as it isn't something the majority of them would use in their daily conversations. Perhaps it's just an SA thing, state is full of olds after all
  14. imo the word charities is a little over used here, not that my attempt is anything to rave about There are many dedicated car clubs who continually hold community events to help raise money for various charities. In 2009 alone the car scene has donated to charaties such as the Jane McGrath Foundation, Salvation Army, insert more charities. While they may not be major donations in the thousands of dollars, every little bit counts, and everyone is always willing to come out and donate their hard earned cash for the charities being supported.
  15. Wastegate sensor coming off the plenum after the intake throttle on the stock setup would be a little unusual, but then again wonders never cease
  16. One near the clutch fluid is the nipple that should run to the factory boost sensor, really no need for that one to have been disconnected. The yellow hose running off the wastegate will need to go to the factory boost solenoid which is behind the intake filter box. From memory the solenoid isn't a simple in/out configuration and had a t piece thrown in, just go on ebay and get a $30 turbotech boost controller instead. And yes you'll probably need to drain oil and coolant before removing any blocking screws from the block.
  17. chucked a wave to a silver stag tolley road round a bout around 6:10pm fri night.
  18. Have a search through the forums for the HICAS diagnostic mode procedure.
  19. Just remembered a consult cable will do the trick too, if you have stock ECU. that has changed a shitload, will def be worth taking a look.
  20. Have an iPhone? Look at Dynolicious, TrackDay, Lap Timer, PocketDyno+
  21. How about an SAU:SA steam group?
  22. That cops like "WTF JUST HAPPENED!"
  23. I run 12 PSI on stock ECU & catback with no issues so far (6 months), 150rwkw on a mainline dyno. But anything above stock be prepared you are taking a risk, stock 33 turbos can be picked up sub $400 if you do pop one though.
