  2. someone here used to have one in their avatar.... black one, looked hot as!
  3. I've got a .gif file in my avatar and it doesn't animate on the new forums...? also, why an i an RB25DET? i don't like R33's... how do i become an RB26DETT to match my car?
  4. Nah! you don't wanna do that. 'cause then yours would look like mine (only lower and without a wing) lol! i've got a gunmetal R32 GTR with R34 rims and i reckon it looks awesome eh... personal tastes though.
  5. Hi all, I bought this car for daily duties but it decided it doesn't really feel like doing them anymore... The car stalled one morning and wouldn't restart. I don't know what's wrong with it... it's possibly the distributor but i don't know. Basically though, i havn't got the time or the patience to get it going again, i just want to get rid of it (it's just a camry). The car is in great condition, there's a little rust on the drivers side A-pillar and a crack in the passenger side of the windscreen but other than that, clean and tidy throughout. it's got central locking and a cd player. Interior is clean as throughout. huge boot! The car is rego'd till the end of Aug so if you get it going again soon you'll be laughing for rego (pink slip, rego and green slip as per norm)... Price is $600 ono these are still selling for about 2-2.5K so it's a good buy. feel free to email me: [email protected] (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) [email protected] (Sat / Sun) Or give me a call on the mobile 0422 646 173 Here are some pictures i have... they're the only ones sorry. Cheers all, Dave.

  9. Happy Birthday mate!
  10. Blue R34 heading towards north ryde on lane cove rd yesterday Nearly snapped my neck looking back as i was going the opposite way and saw it in the corner of my eye
  11. Had a buyer in canberra who was selling their car for the cash to buy but they fell through so bump.
  12. Who was in the R33 following me on Burns road etc last nigh then overtook me before edworth david ave?
  13. Never heard that before... those 2 things should do the trick fine man, it's only 10 db... aim for a 20db loss and you'll be right just go to like auto one or super cheap or something and buy one of those cannons with a silencer in it (bout $100) then keep the silencer and either try return the canon or sell the cannon or throw it away
  14. you could get one of those bolt in silencer dics that sit just in the tip... or if you're good enough at the metal work, make one yourself... other than that, unbolt wherever you can down the system, pack the sucker with steel wool roll then either leave it there to burn off after or take it out after. hopw that helps man.
  15. PM one of these dudes... Shell, dan_the_man, SKY031
  16. I had a blue slip done with 2 pods exposed.... car was already engineered that way but i dunno if that made a difference. ring around some inspection stations and see what THEY say
  17. No you should look at the link to the vehicle standards bulletin posted earlier and see if your rims are ok to fit... as has been said a few times... just keep the overall rolling diametre the same (tyre + rim) and get an offset that keeps the wheel track the same as well (or as close to as possible) wheel track is measured from the centre of one wheel to the centre of the opposite wheel. (it's all in that bulletin). so yeah, easy stuff man and it doesn't need engineering
  18. SPOT ON THE MONEY!!!! as far as the ADR's go it's got nothing to do with the rim height. it's the overall rolling diameter and wheel track they look at. no cutting the chassis or spacers or anything like that! simply, you can't increase the wheel track by more than 26mm and the rolling diametre by more than 15mm. solution: use wheel and tyre package to keep the diametre the same and use wheel offsets / rim widths to keep wheel track the same. there was possibly also something about having to have x amount of clearance from all suspensino components but i can't remember.
  19. reply... possibly "final speed" or maybe TCII's?
  20. I'm with CerealKiller here. although, my car was engineered with pods unenclosed...
  21. Hey guys, I'm planning to take the FMIC off the GTR to do some stuff then put it back on so i figure it would be a wise move to replace the clamps once i've undone them. How big is the inlet on the cooler so i know what size clamps to get...? Thanks heaps. did a search but couldn't find anything. Cheers, Dave.
