  1. thanks thats really good too know, i dont want another blown engine so would like to know whats a safe rev range for stock internalled r33 rb26. cheers:)
  2. whats a good hard cut for a stock motor???, around 8000, i try and shift at 7 wherever possible right now.
  3. Yeah i wont be, its just that i sometimes go over 7000 when driving hard without knowing it...never 8000 or higher though...is there a way to cut out after say 7500 so i dont do any damage to my car?...maybe when i get it tuned or something?
  4. Hey guys, my gtr came with a nismo speedo which is redline after 8000, im pretty sure this is definitely not the same redline for a stock dash gtr.....is it more close to 7000?.....im just wondering cause id like to know the safe revs for a stock internal rb26 motor like mine....ive revved it past or close to 7500 once, but wont do it again...right now i rev to ~7000 or under...i want reliability more than anything as this is a new drop in motor which is extremely healthy. thanks...
  5. Im buying some anodized blue 5zigen lugs for my r33 gtr, and need to know what pitch size/thread i need? Is it 12x1.5??? Thanks,
  6. Thanks mate:), can you tell me what part nos i need?
  7. Cheers - can you pm me a price including shipping to NZ for 1 set front, 2 sets rear camber kits including part no.s. Thanks
  8. Thanks mate - so will i need just one set of bushes front/rear or double up on them to correct my camber enough?
  9. I just lowered my car, and will be fitting some camber bushes front and rear for my r33 gtr, what settings will be good for street use when it comes to camber, as ill be getting an alignment straight after installing and want some settings to play with...also sydneykid, could you please reply to my PM. thanks:)
  10. Thanks, all i could see was ar 60, m24 on the front.....
  11. Hey guys, im getting my car tuned with a powerfc very soon, and im aiming for a safe 280-300awkw with my n1 turbos, the thing is - im not certain they are n1 turbos, im pretty sure they are though. When the motor was out, i couldnt see any serial no's, all i did see was garrett m24, ar60, and a plate on the front side of the turbos saying N1. I was told by my mechanic they are definitely ball bearing.... Will the tuners know if they can get that much power out of the turbos straight away (just incase they arent the turbos i was told they are etc...) I just want to make sure they dont try and push too much power out of the turbos if they are not capable of running the boost etc....im sure tuners know what the limits of the turbos are etc..??? Should i worry too much about this....or leave it to the tuners to get it right? mods: r33 rb26dett (stock internals) stock intercooler custom 3" exhaust, and xforce dump pipes bosch 044 fuel pump (as advised by you sau'ers!) N1 r34 turbos (i think) 550cc nismo injectors Apexi Powerfc and Hand controller for r33 gtr stock boost controller and everything else... ARC panel induction kit thats all i can think of, compression is ~165 accross all cyl's.... What you guys think, 300awkw safe tune not too far off maybe... Thanks.
  12. who can get me a good price delivered to Wellington, New Zealand.
  13. mmm really?.....i was told its good for 500hp....
  14. What do you mean FEELS too small? he just thinks he looks small in comparison to the car....who cares i say!!!
  15. Hey guys, ive got a bosch 040 fuel pump, and my car will be getting tuned to around 300rwkw (r33 gtr), and was wondering if the fuel pump will handle 500hp at the crank with not too many dramas, or am i better to go 044? ive got the 040 already.....
  16. Hahaha - i posted this thread up to let him know its stupid for him to worry bout his IMAGE when driving a r33 gtr, since he should get the car he wants! - that i want him to get an r33 gtr, cause i like them too, and have one aswell, os im bias hahah
  17. exactly, i want him to look at this thread and realise a thing or two....looks generally go to car, praise goes to driver, no matter how big or small....
  18. Its really wierd to see so many people buy a car based on what they think they will look good in, not because of the aspects of the car etc....good example is my friend... He wants an r33 gtr bad, but hes small, and said it wont suit him cause big people generally look better in them, so his vote goes for a smaller r32 gtr, even though r33 was is favourite!... is it me, or are other people like that aswell?.....i mean comon, ive seen small people in big cars...it doesnt really make any difference to be honmest, yeah they look small in the car, so what?, at least they get the car they want.... what are your thoughts???
  19. OK - wing went on today, and i definitely think something doesnt look right, now i know why people say r33s without the wing look wierd on a gtr, i had a 25t and the wing suited it to a t, but gtr is a no no. It still looks good on your car mate:) im going back to stock, with carbon wing blade:)
  20. Cool, so i can interchange between them whenever i feel?, so double sided tape is not neccesary or nothing?
  21. after seeing this youtube clip., i want to have a drift lip on mine....check out this car, it loos so much more sleek with the lip on, and more racey with the wing..do i need to double side tape the spoiler on or can i just bolt it? heres the clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVGePv_o8t0
  22. Im thinking of spraying my gtst drift wing/duck wing, and putting it on my r33 gtr, to see what it looks like?, anyone got pics please!
  23. Hey guys, i just realised that after fitting my coilovers the car is lower more on one side than it is the other?, i checked all the adjustments using a verna-dial to make sure all was good, and double checked everything, yet one side is slightly lower than the othe(from looking at tyre to guard clearance) i have yet to do an alignmetn, which i think may fix this problem, maybe some had more camber affecting one side more than the other???causing it to look lower??? Is this a common things to happen? i dont want to be adjusting the coilover height individually just to make the car look right, as im sure they should be identical for the fronts/rear as a pair...
