Roy: The guy asked for an opinion and I gave it. People who make their cars look like GTRs including badging it as a GTR are pathetic. I've always thought this even before I bought a skyline. I've seen people on the side of the street pointing and laughing at guys who have GTR badges on GTSTs. ROY, This is not about "just front bars!!" this is about dressing up a car with grill, bonnet, bar, wing etc. to look like something that is not for the sake of their car looking cool. "Duh I know, Duh lets put a GTR kit on it.. that hasnt been done before" Very imaginative. Very imaginative. In this instance its not such a big deal because MR R32 is not badging it as a GTR. But for gods sake wheres the creativity? I think he'd be much better off making it look like a tough GTST as opposed to another GTR look-alike Wannabe. For EXAMPLE: do the front bar, stock bonnet but and no rear wing. Furthermore, when the less educated mates of yours see your car and go "oh my god sick man you've got a GTR?" what do you say? "err no actually its a gtst".. "but its got mods".. Well, I give up.

GTR Bodykit = Lame Your car will never be a GTR so why try and make it look like one? Anyone who knows skylines will be able to pick it as a fake anyway. Do you wear a really bad fake rolex too, by any chance? Does your g/f have a $10 Louis Vuitton bag with LM on it instead of LV? .. I've got a better idea, just make it look like a really tough GTST!

Beautiful car. why bother importing? if I didnt already own a car in Japan I would buy this right now.. Get it mechanically checked out and if its fine pay the 2 grand extra.. its worth it to avoid the risks involved in importing.. and believe me the wait isnt worth it. Good luck with the sale druzilla.

just: We're talking about R34 GTRs.. I think they are very refined and comfortable cars in stock form. I would happily tour australia in an r34 gtr.. I almost bought one earlier this year, and was amazed at how refined the ride is. I think we can all agree that you'd be crazy to buy a GTS over an R34.

Drive the pulsar. Drive an r32 gtst. Drive an r33 gtst. Then make your decision. Cliffnotes: The GTIR will destroy the GTSTs in terms of acceleration, cornering and braking. However the Skyline is a nicer steer being rwd and more comfortable to drive for longer periods of time.

Thats pretty bloody retarded mate. No personal attack, but you did ask my opinion. Whats the point of buying mods if you've 'removed' the turbo? What the hell is the point? Its like having sex with a condom Its like skydiving without a parachute .. And why did you ask our opinion if you where just going to go and do all of the above anyway?

I wouldnt bother buying an s15 turbo until your current one blows up

I had one of those exact cars before my GTR. I hope its a Manual Air Intake - K&N is fine Exhaust - 3" straight through turbo to tip. (with 3" dump pipe).. brand name mufflers are simply over rated. Use the money you save on not buying a jap muffler towards a decent IC installation. I had a generic but good quality stainless steel generic 3" muffler and my car sounded bloody awesome and gave enormous power. Spark Plugs - The most expensive copper plugs work just as well if not better than ngk's.. Bosch twin sparkers are good too. Intercooler: Once again, buy a good quality generic intercooler and piping and spend the money on a top quality installation job. With those mods that car will be dipping into the 13s quite easily. To me its all about bang for you buck. If you did that same setup with brand name japanese gear you'd be paying almost twice as much, and probably only getting a 27% power gain as opposed to a 24% power gain. (for eg.) The difference is not worth spending almost twice the cash. Spend the money you save on an Apexi AVC-R boost controller or something like that
