Shouldn't be injectors, as it seems to be running rich, blocked injectors should make it run lean?? Damqik's injectors are sadly pretty knackered, they have been taken out and examined. At this stage UnReGiStRd, I would try changing to a genuine Skyline O2 sensor. Also isn't there 2 osygen sensors? One in cat and one near turbo? Good luck.

666DAN, Oh fu(k yeah, this is my dream car, a black r34. It looks totally horn mate. Do you have anymore pictues or links to piccs. Pretty please? Oh and I noticed your new avatar Box, Looks good, hopefully it will all be sorted out nice and quickly for you.

Smoothline, Having 2-3 fixed places isn't a bad idea. Like you say as long as it is a fixed place, people will be able to hook up. May be some suggestions on where to meet. For the northside may be Burpengary BP/Macca's (might be to far North), or somthing like Petrie or Aspley?
-
Hmm how are you setting the timing, using an adaptor between the plug and coil, or using the wire of the amplifier? Only check timing when car is hot. Apart from that can't help you sorry. Try changing timing belt if it hasn't been done, may have tom play or slack in it

Once again, off meggala's site www.meggala.com

Take your turbo off, check it is still ok, could just be a frigged seals or damages turbines. It could account for the metallica noise you can hear. Check/ compare against another working skyline turbo??? Did you do the rebuilt yourself or did a shop do it? May be take it back to the shop if done by them and see if they will cover some costs or at least some troubleshooting? This is as far as my knowledge goes really, someone else may have ideas (more people may post tomorrow as it will be Sat) Personally I would investigate timing/crank angle options (or what is causing the problems with the timing always being wrong)and then fueling issues. Do you have a aftermarket/modified ecu or s-afc? Could that be playing up and causing the timing to change? What about knock sensor? Not sure about the O2 sensor, meggala's site suggests May be that could be your problem. Also have you checked the cam timing?

Looks like you have tried most of the obvious things. Personally at this stage I would start looking at taking it to a specialist workshop. However, exhaust popping is usually unburnt fuel. Take your injectors out and have them tested/cleaned replaced. They may be shagged and pissing out fuel. You have changed your crank angle sensor, was it for a KNOWN working sensor? New or second hand. Do you have a second skyline to test and swap parts on/with Also make sure your plugs are gapped to 0.8 and that your timing is set at 15-20 (if over fueling I would set it at 20 may be even test with 23-25) Have you had a compression test done on the car? Check that you cooling system has absolutely no blocks or leaks. Check or change your thermostat. Check for split hoses or cracks in intercooler and associated plumbing. Personally I had surging/boosting/hesitation at 4500rpm and then again at aroun 6000rpm. Fixed with timing change to 20. Sounds like you may have 2 different problems, 1 Your surging when boosting. 2 Fueling issues. Timing, crank angle etc would be related I imagine, your over fuelling could be injectors, faulty ecu etc. Oh and reset your ecu. That's all I can think of for now, hopefully something will work for you. Cheers, Tim

Glad to hear it. Try putting in Redline Shockproof. Most guys on the forum will swear buy it. May even totally fix you problems. -
Good idea Boxhead, but if we keep changin the meeting point it might not work. May have a fixed meeting spot where we get free/cheap food (haha club discount ), then onto the cruise. Like you said some weeks go north, some go south may be every so often west etc. But if we are organising regular meets it needs to be in a fixed placed, that way other skyline peoples can rock on over when they see us. Or we can tell someone "yes be here at this time." As for Hillbilly's, hell yeah, I'm up Maleny way, so not quite inbred, but still have the scars from my second head removal operation  May be we can seriously organise a full on QLD cruise, like 3-4days were we start at G/C for exmaple and then roick up the coast to Gladstone, Yeppoon, Rocky whatever. That way we would have a massive convoy of Skylines and pretty much nobody would miss out (except far North QLD). Dunno, but many car clubs have road trips etc. May something we can plan for next year?

PJKJ, Car looks great man. Love black cars.

Don't expect miracles, but yes usually your car will drive better, idle smoothly, rev slightly harder etc. As for more power, unless there was something wrong with your car, you won't see muh different in power. Like I said above, the difference in drivability is much better, as well as knowing your baby is in top order. Are you replacing plugs fuel filter air filter etc as well? Make sure they are, or do them youself, as the are what give you the best gains. Cheers, Tim

2fardown, Good luck, but anything that has "wearable parts" ie clutch etc they usually try and squirm their way out. Warranty group, bar none are a bunch of fu)king co)k smoking monkey raping lesbian crackhores. You are usually better off gambling you $300-600 at the casino's, then saving you winnings for a lucky day. Personally I have been shafted every car I've own, with multiple warranties groups. They all try and say you've flogged the car, or you have taken it on a track etc. Thing is, if the cars ****ed up, it usually means that it was done BEFORE you got the car. Oh well, I'm just bitter, but hopefully they will recognise you and get you box fixed. Cheers, Tim -
The fuel filter is code z200. The fools will try and tell you that it is z202. ingore the dumb buggers. It you look at it, z202 is really fat, but the z200 is the right size to fit in the clip. What XrSiSt said for the oil filter, simply ask for one for a VL. (RB30)

MRE l am keen as too. If you join a drift club let me know, I'm looking around as well.

heheh, hmm well I'm going to the day, and since they're MY tyres I might have to claim shotgun on them first. But Bigfella, if you wanted to lend me you wheels for a day, I could make some great videos heheheh

I think it's a top idea. If it's G/C though I won't be able to get there very regulary, if it's somewhere in Brissy, I wouldn't mind coming down every week or so. I agree with word of mouth. Unless people see us or are told we won't get too many members quickly. May be work out a place (resturant whatever) to meet, then at a certain time good for a cruise.
-
Congratulations Meggala. The car looks great. I love black cefiro's. The just look horn. Cheers, Tim PS It certainly does look like 15yr and old cars will be the go. Let's hope the Gov. doesn't frig that up as well
-
Looks awesome! I reckon skylines look better without spoilers or wings. The job you have done is excellent. You should be proud. Cheers, Tim

Just starting to organise things now. The Brissy boys have a lot more meets then the SC, if you go to the QLD section of the forum you can see Slip is organising a slidpan day for us Make sure you express your interest! *hint hint* Yeah I would be happy to show you stuff, just let us know. Hopefully your car will all be sorted soon. Just don't let the mech. rip you. Ask him exactly what he did, why he did etc. Many will charge you far too much. Cheers, Tim

Thanks bigfella. Chaos - The monkey is whacking off. The othe one is doing a burnout/drifting.
-
I usually don't cruise because the Cop situation is shocking at the moment, but give me a call on 0409156922 and we'll hook up. I've got a r33 2 tone silver/gray Skyline. Cheers, Tim Oh and it's the first day of my holidays on Sat so I'm keen for pretty much anything

Here's my Dyno graph.

curb weight is usually with half tank of fuel, no passengers and no luggage. Basically empty street weight. Gross weight can either be the car totally empty with no fuel oil or any options/accessories, but can sometime be total weight WITH fuel oil, 2-3 passengers etc. go with the curb weight, it's what most magazines quote
-
Awesome, that Targo is da Bomb! Maybe I'll hook up with the space savers again
