Had one on punt road richmond, shook my head told him no and he washed it anyway. He started chatting even though i wasnt interested. Told us he used to have a skyline too till he wrote it off into a tree, that's wonderful i thought to myself. I gave him about 50c in change. I guess if he is a junkie it's better than him stealing robbing and breaking into homes and cars. At least he is providing a service even if it's not needed. Maybe if they actually sold something it wouldnt be so annoying newspapers, cans of coke or something.

Hi I need to replace the rear passenger tie rod end. There is a noticable wobble in the wheel which was picked up by mechanic. Im trying to get the part so he can replace it. Im having trouble finding out the part number or where to get them from. I've tried bursons and a local tyre place but they both cant find a listing. Bursons said they could have a look if i could remove the part ,but id rather not go down that route incase it takes a while to get on ordered in. Im guessing the fronts are different to the rear, i alos have the lock bar fitted if that makes a difference. Im also thinking of getting some bushes replaced are there any thats more easily done while the tie rods getting replaced? or should i wait and get the lot done.

Ive been doing some searching and cant seem to find the hose diameter's and lengths for the intake flex hoses from turbo to plenum. The main one that's cracked and hard is the one above the rockercover, but I'll replace the other aswell while im there. Any hint's as to where to buy them? I went too a hose place, the guy there couldnt measure it properly while it was still on and at a rought guess of around 70mm (i think) was unable to find any of that size in stock.

Id also look at bridging the rear 2 channels for the sub if funds are tight, run the rears off the deck and the fronts and sub from the amp till you can get a monoblock or another amp. The mobile electroics australia site is great keep an eye on the "for sale section" you might get a bargain.

This thread is disgusting, not one picture of a 1600 yet. I also like the old luxuary cars and cal or rat look makes them even cooler. lol at the cressie, had one as my 2nd car ugly, sluggisy thirsty and extremely comfy

Being 17 im guessing a turbo or any real mods will cause too much hassles, and cosmetic mods will help get the engines mods found. Id go for a good sound system and alarm if your looking to waste money, best bit is it can be removed and installed in your next car. It can make a boring drive more entertaining and it's not that hard to do yourself. If im going on a long trip id choose a slower car with a better stereo than a faster car with a crap one ( realistic cars, no porches etc) Also if want attention you can turn it up at the lights and shopping centers, 99.999% of people will think your a dickhead but there is a slight chance some other kid likes the song and wanted to be forced into hearing at high volumes at that particular point time, and thats alot better odd's than someone likeing a bodykit or exhaust on an excell. Excells are a good cheap reliable shopping trolleys i'd keep it that way, you dont have to go fast or stick plastic and fibreglass to your car to have fun driving. Maybe go to the autospeed website and look making a cai and brouse their other articles, it's no frills stuff and you will learn about modifying your car without spending way too much money on brand names. You will make slight gains in performance that will be comparable to wasting big dollars on off the shelf stuff.

Any Real Performance Gain From Cold Air Intakes....
Mendoza replied to IM-32-FK's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I was looking into these two things a while ago for if i make a cai. Im not sure how effective they are, I thought they would be really popular if they worked as claimed and didnt restrict the flow to much. I use metho and newspaper for a rag, I was told it's the best for the outside glass becuse it doesnt leave a film that can attract dust and dirt. I also worked at a glass screen printing factory and thats how we cleaned the real dirty glass for printing.

Sorted out the light, still after some wheels -
You can always enter skyhigh late via the exit if you get a friend to stand on the tyre shreaders Theres also better views on some of the other roads up there, like burkes lookout but they have gravel car parks.
