i run R34 GTR rims on my falcon (FG) ... had to get the hubs bored out. same PCD. early fords have the +6 offset, AU-FG have +36 offset. regarding brake clearance, any FPV rim will clear brembos a few XR rims clear brembos, most dont.

found genuine NEW HKS twin plate, friction plates for $378 delivered. i just need to work out if my current friction plates are PRO or MAX .. or can i use either?? ill be dropping the box this week, do all the work myself, so i wont need to worry about emo mechanics

also, looking at new friction plates. whats the difference between HKS Pro and Max friction plates. and how to do i ID them?

got a HKS twin plate in my 32. doesnt have much power, 278rwhp 13psi (stock turbo) seemed to be fine on the dyno on thursday, yet started slipping chronically (in the later stages of the day) on saturday (drift comp) ... it struggled to get back into the pit bay :S tried the car yesterday, seemed to be a tad better (only slipping to 3000 rpm ish). but it still slipping. what could of caused it to slip? i didnt really ride the clutch, didnt really clutch kick much, but i did hold the accelerator flat down when i spun so, whats easier/cheaper ... 1) hks rebuild kit 2) new plates 3) upgrade to a different clutch ... been told i can get a OS Giken Triple Plate for $1800

turns out i didnt look at the front tyres very well. they have lots of tread and no camber wear

works for me, as my street car cant run anything smaller than 18" rims due to brakes anyways ill try, they might be "stingy" at the top gate, but ill try, worst case, ill bring my ute around to the gate thanks heaps !

i tried to minimise the difference by making the XR8 kinda JDM... but no cigar http://yfrog.com/5z07042009062j (it has the Tein Super Streets + EDFC, whiteline swaybars, Malwood Opt 3 clutch with 35% more clamp, 6/4 pot brembo combo, R34 GTR rims for track rims, Bride Vios 3 Low Max fixed back) HMAS FG for ever ! but yeh, the 32 will make life much easier

not entirely sure, this topic (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R34-Injectors-t254726.html) talks about it. something about spacers or something, im not quite sure. i bought these to fit in my (Ford Typhoon 4L Turbo powered) drag car... but decided to upgrade to 2433cc injectors before i even took the injectors out of the box. so you'd be best to have a peek in that topic to see if they do
