  1. How do you know it only has the standard turbo? Could be a hi-flow. Could have an after market ECU. Does it have a standard exhaust, intercooler etc? Time to do some poking around in the engine bay perhaps. Might find some more hidden treasure.
  2. Do you have an auto? Transmission cooler perhaps.
  3. Are you shitting me? NZEFI are the sole NZ agent and tuner for Nistune. I have Nistune and i'm in the Waikato.
  4. No that's where the ecu reads the pressure from. The boost gauge sender is on the drivers side right behind the suspension strut
  5. Agreed. They are severely lacking in graduations on the dial.
  6. You could get the nismo tripple gauge cluster to replace the standard unit.
  7. Aftermarket turbos rarely bolt straight on without manifold, wastegate and exhaust modifications, so if you're only chasing moderate power levels then a hi flow is perfect.
  8. Stamped on the top are these numbers. Whether they are the part numbers or not i have no idea. SAE PA66 PA66-G30
  9. If you get something like Nistune installed, there's a fella on here called Toshi who does a really good job. Can be done via Email. He will send you the files and you upload them to your ECU and bingo. There will be a bit of back and forth and some road testing but it's a damn site faster than snail mail. Is 93 the highest octane fuel available there?
  10. Now you just need to send your turbo off to be hi flowed and the package will be complete.
  11. Oh dear god, look at that welding! lolz
  12. Mines the same also, dark face, -1 to +1 and i have an 02 model. And it's accurate. Although it's been replaced by the nismo triple gauge cluster now, as it didn't read high enough.
  13. Well it may be normal. You're probably only noticing it now because you've removed all the sound deadening between you and it. ie The aforementioned back seat.
  14. How much gas do you have in the tank? Some get louder when it's getting very low, gurgle and what not. Is it really loud or just a faint buzzing noise? If it's really loud it may have come loose and is vibrating against the wall of the tank.
  15. What a prick of a job. Tried blowing it out from the rear, but the guts from these fricken bugs is better than industrial strength super glue!! Don't really want to water blast it from the front as this will push them in further and could damage the fins. Buggered if i want to take the damn thing off every time it needs a clean out. Lets have your best methods.
  16. In the middle photo, the bolt head is right next to a black box that looks like the boost pressure sensor. should have hitachi stamped on it. It plugs in underneath, check and see if there's a nipple there for the pipe to fit onto. Some one has probably removed it to fool the ecu into not going into Rich and retard at higher boost.
  17. So shit welding then, by a shit welder. If it was someone decent they would have used the correct materials.
  18. Stupid question, but i assume you had a full tank of gas and you weren't starving the fuel pump when you went sideways lol?
  19. Is the fan working properly? Clutch might be F#@$%D Are you sure there's no air trapped in the system? Try bleeding it to be certain.
  20. On the z32 afm above the plug should be letters or numbers. Mine had the letters a,b,c,d,e,f. a & f are not used. b = 'Signal' so join it to orange/blue c & d = 'ground' and 'signal ground', so splice them together and join them to the white/blue e = '12v' so join it up with the black/white. I would advise checking with a multi meter first though in case different models are wired differently.
  21. There is a wiring guide above in the forced induction quick ref guide, under z32 afm install. To get the ball rolling, this is what my neo wiring corresponded too. Black/white: 12v white/blue: signal ground orange/blue: Signal
