well admittedly i've never been in a demo car ... but i've been to most shops and talked to many friends who are audiophiles .. i got one friend with probably 4k of sound system in his integra ... i have not had one of them recommend pioneer except for head units so i can only go by what i've been recommended .. also of all the speakers i've auditioned in the shops .. i have to say that none of them has impressed me ... nothing like focals or eclipse ... i was lookin at a hot 4s magazine the other day and i saw some review of splits which costs from 1.5k to 3k .. WTF?? i guess everyone has their own tastes ...

i'd be interested too if u going to it .. last time i asked tonkins .. they had some sheets of stuff for about 120 bucks or so .. but with that u can do about 6 doors i think ?? can't rememeber .. i'll ask next time i'm there

trust me .. pioneer aren't that good .. pionner have a reputable brand name .. but their head units are the only good thing they have ... imho

u say pioneer problem in ur title .. but u say panasonic in ur question ?? didn't know they were the same company ... i've never seen a cd and minidisc all in a single dine before .. what do u mean by whirs?? might mean that the mechanisms are stuffed inside it ..

theres not many chasers in australia .. but they use the same engines as other toyotas don't they?? should have heaps of aftermarket stuff available too .

on a side note .. does anyone know how the detection works cause i swear it detects it different when i use different RON rating petrol .. like i get the empty petrol indicator light much earlier than when i use 98 and 95 ron petrol ..

i've been meaning to fix up my crappy suspension for a while .. right now its screwed as there are low springs at the front .. i dont' know which ones .. and there are normal ones at the back ... so my choices are either coilovers or springs ... i've had a hard think and i've come to the conclusion that springs are a better choice due to cost ... coilovers = 1k plus camber kit ... so thats about 1.5k when everything is done .. i'd rather spend that money on other things like sound system or mags or even for a rainy day ... what i want to know is ... how many of u guys are running kings on stock shocks?? have u had any problems?? was the handlin much better?? what are the different spring "levels" i can get? will i have camber problems as well?? thanks

would u still need camber correction kits if u use proper coil overs ??? i know that u stuff up ur camber ... but i still dont' understand why?? if i lower my car 50mm with proper suspension ... will i have problems??

yeah most really really good speaker brands are the ones that u'll only ever hear of once u do a bit of research ... and saying sony is shit before admittly was a bit fast ... its just u can get so much better for what ure paying thats all ... my apologies ... i've been told by many people that the only type of music sony is good for is rnb ..

does anyone know if kyb are any good?? i can get some non adjustable .. but 50mm lower than standard ... can someone tell me standard height?? 50mm seems low and non adjustable .. what have all u guys with r33's got ur suspension setup like??
