  1. The Trust PEII is 3 inch not 3.5 and does not sit low at all and would be legal. The Trust TR is the big daddy of the Trust exhausts at 3.75 i think and it's not what you would call quiet.
  2. Trust Power Extreme 2, fairly quiet on idle etc but really opens up when you put you foot down and has a nice note. Don't know who would sell them in Perth though, i can only point you in the direction of Advan Performance in Sydney who could ship one to you but i'd say shipping would be worth a bit.
  3. Ok, Due to the fact that the turbos have to come off to fit dump pipes on a GTR there is quite a bit of labour involved unfortunatly as well as costs of coolant etc due to the turbos coming off. So, you would be looking at a cost of approx $700 fitment including coolant etc. I have no idea how that compares to other shops though.
  4. PM sent Wednesday, waiting for reply.
  5. They are a good thing, better than the old type s which was good too. Type RS is essentially a type s with a type r sized valve etc in it.
  6. I have brand new Braided lines and fittings - 12 size (earls) to suit a Greddy R32 GTR oil cooler kit that i don't need. I only have the line and fittings not the cooler or sandwich plate so please don't ask. There are 2 lengths of line that came with the kit and also an extra length that i have left over from when i installed the cooler and bought too much. This stuff costs a fortune, retail value on what i have is about $350-$400 but willing to sell for $250. The line looks like what is included in this kit.
  7. I'd go for one SX pump (1000hp) external with a surge tank. Are you looking at 800hp at the engine or at the wheels? 700cc injectors are good for just over 800hp at the engine @ 100% duty cycle so would be best to upgrade those too. Other than that a good fuel rail, reg and upgraded lines.
  8. I have had requests for details of what you get so here is a pic of the complete system, nothing else is required. Remember only 50% ($550) is required in a months time and the rest after the goods arrive which would be approx 3-4 weeks after order is placed so it's the perfect way to spend your tax refund cheque
  9. For those guys that may be interested a Group Buy is now up and running for the Trust pipes. For details see thread here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=75829
  10. Hi Richard I have tried to get the best possible price for them and i think i have. Better than any internet backyard company i have found. I am in the same situation as you deciding if i should stick with twins or go for the single, it's a tough choice  I really love these pipes and if i get a set i think i will cry if i ever scrape them on a speed hump. I will get an price estimate on fitment for everyone as a guide. Because the turbos have to come off there will be a few hours involved.
  11. Due to the amount of interest in these front pipes on the forum i thought i would organise a group buy. For this to go ahead we need the following: Minimum 5 sets 50% deposit prior to order (other 50% paid when goods are picked up) The price for these will be $1,100 delivered to Sydney all taxes/shipping etc included. For people outside the Sydney area that cannot pickup the only additional charge will be shipping from Sydney to you. Please bear in mind that while internet companies may quote a cheaper price for these once you include shipping costs and taxes they are condsiderably more expensive to the tune of $1,400 to $1,500 by the time they are here. I will leave this open for people until the end of this month (June) for people to express interest, if there is not 5 people willing to pay a deposit on 30 June the buy will not go ahead. This group buy has been made possible buy Advan Performance so you are buying from a reputable company in Australia that will provide receipts. Here is a pic of the front pipes but please note this is only half the front the pipes.... the rear piece is not pictured in this pic. If someone wants pics of the complete pipes post here and i will get some. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y257/ido0...9s/55927fba.jpg 1. paulR32gtr 2. Lucien 3. 4. 5.
  12. Would any of you guys be interested in a group buy for the genuine Trust split dump/front pipes? Depending on the level of interest i could get one organised.
  13. I think you would be hard pressed to find another exhaust of that size around much cheaper than that. Also remember the TR comes with a cat replecement pipe (for racing use only) which alot of others don't.
  14. I would highly reccomend a Trust TR (they are 3.75 inch i think) they fit the bill for your requirements except for the stainless steel part which is really nothing major. The silencer system they have is very effective and they make room for large power increases. Advan Perfromance in Silverwater stock them - 9647 1326
  15. I agree, $3K is a good price as you will get $$$ for your RB25 but if you want another price call Dean from Ultimate Performance Imports.
  16. Methanol is a fuel only ever used in darg cars and the like, it's not legal for road use. If you have ever stood near a car running Methanol you would know why. Apart from that you have to run a completly new fuel setup for it, i don't know specifics but i know of friends in the drag scene that have mentioned it. If you want to run a better fuel than 98 you would still have to stick with a fuel like VP racing, that's about 103 and it's still unleaded so you can use it on the street. It's about $3.50 per litre though.
  17. I would assume he is saying to keep the cover on to prevent dirt etc from getting on the teeth which would create premature wear?
  18. I have seen a few in real life, they look good but i wouldn't be willing put holes etc in my dash. Advan had a few in stock last time i was there can't remember how much though.
  19. Cool, so i'm not the only one who has heard that. I'm assuming this is the new colour scheme for the 'series 2' HKS gears?
  20. Although not from personal experience i have heard of failures with HKS gears on more than one occation and it has always been related to the teeth on the gear as the material seems to be too soft and wears quickly. Has anyone else heard of this? I am currently using Tomei and have had no issues.
  21. I would not hesitate to recommend larger than 3 inch for a RB26 pushing anything over about 300kw atw. Once you go bigger you quickly realise how much it was being strangled. It's easy power
  22. You can get a greddy pillar mount from Advan in Sydney, they normally have plenty in stock and i'm sure would be willing to send it to you.
  23. I'm fairly sure it goes onto the factory flange.
  24. Give Advan a call, i remember seeing some there but i cam't remember what car they suited.
