I believe it is. How much would you pay, once you have written your car off and are injured in hospital, to go back and buy decent tyres instead of cheapies? A lot, I would guess. I always buy high quality tyres, which have great traction, but more importantly great braking ability. It is the tenths of seconds that matter when you are sliding toward a small child who runs out in front of you.

sorry, there were no decent chicks there. The Misti ones were ok, but well overdressed, and yes the Kia chick had giant hooters (but large everything else too IMHO). Poorest promo chick car event EVER.

^^ yeah the R32 was only a GTSt and barely modded whatsoever. Bizarre to put such a car in a show at all. Why bother even thinking about a dodgied up car? I think it is an R33 engine, as the traction control throttles are missing. There are plenty of local examples for reasonable prices.

You're a bit stuck in limbo Skyline-wise for that price. A decent R34GTT is over $20k (shitboxes can be had for less though). A decent R32GTR is over $20k (shitboxes can be had for less though). For that price range I would find a tastefully modded and mint condition R33GTSt that all the money has been spent, and you can just drive, rather than fix up all the time.

I am going tomorrow, but wouldn't mind some sneak preview pics - plus it is cool to see other people's views of cars and their photographic skills. So

What is dumber crashing your bike and nearly killing yourself? Getting back on one when you have healed up. You only ever stop riding when someone finishes you off, or are crippled from riding and unable to anymore (sorry Tangles). Sorry mate, everyone I know who has EVER had a bike has had the worst injuries, and quite a few friends have been killed. Bad Juju! I can't believe people do it - I would be fearing for my life every second, as I see how poor other drivers are in general.

^^^ I agree - a normal service is an hours work to do yourself tops! Plus, it is fun to work on your own car! WTF? What was the outcome of this? Did they ever recover the car? Did Nissan pay you out for it/damage?

sorry to hear mate. I can't believe that I drive my car all day every day for work, do around 30,000km a year, and WANT to be rear-ended, and no-one will do it. FYI I backed into a stobey pole a year and a half ago and bent my boot/bumper/light and want someone else to pay for it to be fixed
