  1. no worries mate - always here to help others
  2. nah don't bother with any of that - there is a dirty big hole directly above the clutch pedal about 30cm above. Get under the dash, and you will find it. Might have a rubber grommet in it, but I pulled it out years ago if there was. I have about 10 different cables and lines running through mine here is a pic of where it comes out in the engine bay below.
  3. any idea if it will be coming to Adelaide? (The motor show is in early April). Any idea who to contact to get an inside line of having a look at it not at the show?
  4. Hi, just want to share some pics of Sled's, Evil34's, and my R34 taken today after Premo's wedding. Enjoy.
  5. Sweet! Ah, I mean Doh! Ah I can't win - would be great if you stayed Nick, we would all miss you. But sucks if you don't get opportunities you deserve. I am torn
  6. hahah nice effort Steve. Next time - video or ban
  7. Hi, has anyone fitted an R33GTsT water pump to an R34GTT? I ordered an R34 unit a week ago, but it won't get here from Japan until next Tuesday - the Nissan guy told me the R33 is unit is the same, so I bought one of those, as I need to get it fitted this Sunday. Is this ok, and has anyone done it before? The Nissan guy said he had sold hundreds of R33GTsT water pumps, but never an R34 one, which makes me think everyone just buys the R33 one for their R34s, as they are $60 cheaper. Advice?
  8. Yeah mate I was. You should have come over and said hi!
  9. dude, if everyone put up 20 useless posts every week, the forum would be inundated with bs and we would become ns.com. If that is the scene you are after then go troll ns.com. Otherwise, don't post so many useless question and re-posts .... and yes, I speak on behalf of all users who don't want to wade through rubbish to find any useful info.
  10. are you going to post a new cruise up every single week?
  11. yep, it kicks ass. I bought the Bilstein shocks, Whiteline springs, plus sway bars. Ride quality is definitely more firm than standard, but not obtrusive. There is a little booby jiggling, but the wife doesn't complain too much. The setup takes bumps much worse than standard, but cornering is absolutely fantastic and well worth the slight trade-off. I took a guy for a spin the other day who actually thought it was standard suspension, and said it was much softer than the Nismo coilovers in his car. Highly recommended!
  12. no worries Jared remind me to take you for a belt next time we catch up. The thing is too, that as the car is so smooth it is hard to gauge just how fast it is. I wish we had a drag strip so I could get some times down - it is not until you boot it from the lights with a hot car next to you, that you realise just how fast it is - not that I would do that on a public road of course
  13. yep that was me
  14. yeah if he had told me he was selling it I would have bought it for some shits and giggles - but it sold so damn quick before I even found out about it
  15. nice one mate - good to see you getting some coverage you well deserve! See you Sunday (won't be at drifting Saturday due to a wedding )
  16. sounds like Martin Donnons old RB26 powered R33 4 door - that thing did high 11s in almost standard form - a tune and a few mods, but standard exhaust, intake, intercooler etc ....
  17. hehe I will have to take you for a spin one day Pete .... a few of the guys I took for a spin can vouch she makes a bit more than 145 - and yes, I know you are just stirring
  18. can you take my black R34 dyno run out of any DVD you make? The 4,500rpm 145rwkw run is just embarrassing - damn pinging in the hot weather with cooling issues ... she makes 230rwkw really
  19. hehe thanks for the ride Pete - what a savage beast your R is
  20. nah that figure is correct mate. Shaun only ran it to just under 4,500rpm and it made the 145rwkw. He stopped as the afrs were hitting 13:1. I know my car needs a re-tune (have modified several things since last tune), but afterwards I figured out why it was pinging so hard (apart from the tune) : my water pump is stuffed (it is booked in to be changed next Sunday), so the car was running hot, the turbo was not being cooled effectively, hence it was putting out hotter air, which caused pre-ignition - hence the pinging. Was a great day - thanks for the great organisation and running Joel and Julie! Pity about the very to weather and the f$#ktard in the Soarer causing the cops to rock up and go to town on Matty, as our scapegoat. If you read this mate, you are definitely not welcome at any future SAU events. Don't bother showing your head again. Stupid enough to try to big note yourself by taking off with a 100dB+ exhaust, then doing 100km+ down a 50km road, but to be told not to do it, then blatantly do it again is just retarded. You are what give import drivers a bad name and get us pulled over and targeted all the time. You, sir, are a wanker.
  21. yep put me down too - tentatively with the +1.5 but not positive if they will come or not. Sweet, yes some more Buck Hunter action would be fun Luke - even better if there was a South Park pinball machine too for me to rack up a heap of free credits on
  22. haven't ever heard of one. Nismo fuel pumps retail for over $400 - so doesn't sound like even a moron would let one go to trash collectors for $2.
  23. cool, where can I get that virus from Steve? .... lol - I didn't know you were into back door action (wow how do you love that pun referring to both a type of virus, and the action in the pic you posted) :)
  24. Spotted a black DB9 convertible with the roof down, and a blue Maserati on the way to the dyno day. Also spotted the black R34GTR with the same number plate on Grand Junction Rd on the way to the footy. *drool*
  25. yeah what's this I hear about you ripping people off on ns.com Kietz? You won't get away with that rubbish in this community for long ....
