  1. hey Bass - if the top radiator hood in the pic you took is the R34GTT one, you have 'bent' it inside out - the hood catch needs to be slightly to the right of the catch hole - not the left. And for everyone else's info, I bought mine from Bass's last group buy around 6 months ago and the product is bloody brilliant, and worth well more than the small fee he is charging for them! He was a great guy to deal with too. Buy, buy, buy!!
  2. it's funny - Nissan are rediculously priced on some things, but rather cheap for others. I am sure (as Mel said) this item is in the 1st category
  3. how long would this paint last sealed in a tin in my (hot) shed? Does it have an 'expiry' date ie. does it go off?
  4. yeah, Joanne from Best Enterprises told me she has a Regency appointment every day at 2pm until the end of February. Maybe they are not using it one day?
  5. awesome to hear James!!! Were they dicks about it all, or pretty laid-back? I will come over on the weekend to show you my new toy, and look at yours
  6. yeah I am keen to know why too Bob. I changed my cooler on my S15 with standard turbo, and it allowed for heaps of extra timing and leaning out of fuel. ZXFIRE - I hope to change it within a month - have just ordered my cooler kit. Will be looking for the normal price around town - I would think around $200 plus delivery. I am in SA.
  7. Hi, does anyone have a MIT350 installation or usage manual they could scan for/email me? And/or, can anyone please translate these Japanese diagrams for me? Thanks
  8. my tuner says it is vital to get a FMIC no whatter how powerful your car is. And he tunes Keir Wilson's 8 second R32GTR and writes for various car magazines
  9. I am probably fitting an FMIC in the next few months. If/when I do mine will be up for sale. Keep your eyes peeled on the forums.
  10. no worries mate - thanks for supplying a great product in the first place!
  11. it was a mini-pool party if you must know .... and Guy, we stopped inviting you to our 'adult' nights, cos some of your 'friends' carry interesting diseases
  12. Trip was awesome thanks. Took in the best of the USA: New York, Niagara Falls, Washington, Boston, LA, Disneyland, California Adventure Park, Knotts Berry Farm, San Diego, Sea World, Tijuana, Las Vegas (yeah baby - my fave), San Francisco and finally 4 days in Honolulu, Hawaii on the way home here's pics of my R34
  13. I fitted my R34GTT radiator guide today - fits perfectly and looks great! Thanks a heap!!!
  14. I just measured the top radiator hose and it has a diameter of around 45mm. Seems too big, compared to what he is selling.
  15. I have just fitted a water temp gauge to my R34GTT, and am wondering where others have tapped into, to get the water temp readings? Is there a stock point in the water system anywhere to screw in a threaded temp probe? Or should I buy one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 and if so, which size do I need (JustJap suggested 36mm, but he didn't really know), and on which hose would I put it? Anyone got a pic of where their temp sensor is? Thanks for any advice/info. Andrew
  16. literally paid my premium today: Just Cars over 25 yrs old minor accident history 4 door R34GTT Auto listed: suspension, $1,500 stereo, $2,000 wheels, exhaust, boost controller, pod filter Adelaide (where you live has a MAJOR impact on price) $1,207
  17. I modded my cluster to fit some smoked face gauges myself
  18. It was deleted for a very good reason nitwit. Talk like that is most welcome on NissanSilvia.com or other 'scooter' sites, but not on here. Speeding and talking about dangerous driving is not for SAU.
  19. thanks Ash, I do like the kit SydenyKid has put together, but I really want my setup to be fully damper and height adjustable. Still deciding though.
  20. Tilbrooks, Morpowa, Turbo Tune
  21. $400 for the lot delivered? (you can choose delivery method - I am not fussed by time-frame).
  22. thanks mate I bought the CAI from Maxx/Chapman on these forums. Not sure if he can get them for R32s or not.
  23. yeah James, that's the one. Made by Apexi, and is basically a 3" stainless weld-in tube with a butterfly/throttle type setup, that can be opened and closed from a knob in the cabin. My exhaust is very noisy, so I need this to quieten it down - but the beauty is I can still open it right up when I want to (only for track days of course).
  24. yeah doesn't sound too bad mate. Maybe try to borrow/hire some standard brake lines from someone on here, or somewhere like Four Brothers Imports, then change them back to braided. Not a hard job to do youself, and would save you some cash.
  25. damn James - but sorry to say I knew this would be the case .... it is a 15 year old car after all
