  1. ^^^ and he is dead right. Funny (well ironic) thing in this whole debate, is that you all won't see the truth until it is way too late and you are burning in hell. It is all well and good for you not to have faith and think that when you die the lights go out and that is it. But for the rest of eternity you are going to regret your short sighted decision. So you had better live life to the fullest while you are here. Your time here on earth is very short compared to the afterlife. So I will throw the question askers a return question about the Bible, the foundation of Christian faith - if there is no God and it is all made up, can you then honestly maintain that the Bibile is all made up? Historically documented from various sources, with multiple people telling the same stories from different perspectives and persuasions, collated over centuries. Did someone just make up the whole thing and it suddenly became fact?
  2. Sheesh, what is this .... hate on Nightcrawler day? ........................ :P No-one appreciates anything different on cars these days .... maybe I should have been like all the other boring sheep and painted my body kit ..... boooooooooooring.
  3. EXACTLY what I was thinking. Why would you bother?
  4. P.p.s do a search - 1,000,000 noobs have posted this same topic before - you will get a lot of info (and avoid some pitfalls) from other people's threads.
  5. One of some of the SAU Admins, and Prank/Christian the SAU site owner!
  6. ^^ the VDC off button doesn't turn off much except traction control, sadly. I found this out the hard way 2 weeks ago at the SAU Nationals at Winton - my abs/stability control kept going crazy trying to straighten me up around hard corners, as it thought I was going to crash. I was tempted to pull the ABS fuse and see if it stopped it, but was afraid I would throw a CEL and have to limp the car 700km to get home.
  7. Check your lower control arm bushes - most crap themselves well before 100,000km. Or could be an ABS sensor? Wheel alignment?
  8. Spewing I can't make it to the Riverland show this weekend guys - have fun! Between a wedding this arvo/tonight (I will think of you all while at the open bar at the Stamford Grand Glenelg tonight ), pre-organised lunch catchup with friends on Sunday, and using up several leave passes with the wife to head to the SAU Nationals, it was just not possible I am already doing the groundwork and saving up leave passes to be able to go to the SAU Nats next year (given it will be a 5+ day affair) ....
  9. Glad you got it back mate. But seriously - S15 whelees are worth absolutely nothing, and it is hard to see another use for the ramps off that trailer .... how desperate are these retards for cash? They probably got $50 for the whole lot off some other dodgy kent.
  10. I did a pb on shitty Chinese tyres with my a/c on and windows down of 1:28.01. From memory: Ryan ISC was doing 1:19s Krishy was doing 1:28s Munro did 1:18s in the R35 Daniel did 1:12s taking it easy in the Radical Fake400R was doing 1:18s Josh was doing 1:25s That's about all I remember. Scandy got a great shot of me getting a bit loose in the "S"s on my last lap when my tyres were licorice And I got a couple of mediocre shots with my IPhone
  11. Shiet, so our beacon may still be out there? Heslo, can you contact your Mallala guy and see if they can grab it for us and put it in a safe place?
  12. ^^^ hey Krishy, PLEASE tell me you have the timers and beacon!
  13. I have said it before and I will say it again - that is one seriously disturbing (but awesome) video!
  14. Yeah mate I managed a best of 1:28.01 in the end, but only realised after my tyres had gone to licorice that I had the windows down and the a/c cranking for that session (I only did 2 sessions, and only cos there were basically no other cars running). Still happy with that time!
  15. Yep thanks to our members who turned up, a great day was had by all I hope! You have to love almost unlimited track time - try to get that on any other club track day
  16. Yeah it is going to be an awesome day ..... Munro's race car will be a highlight, but the big highlight for me will be Daniel's Radical SR8 (powered by 2 Hyabusa engines strapped together to make a V8) - one of the fastest cars EVER around the Nurbugring - just the sound of it idling is insane, let alone when it hits its 11,000-odd rpm redline :D
  17. Actually, even better - go and have a look for yourselves http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.P1 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.S1 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.S2 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.S3 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.S4 http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?29/10/2011.WIN.S5 For some sad reason the timing gear stuffed up and a heap of people's lap times were not recorded in some sessions .... I am not sure how this can happen when I thought we were using the same gear that the Supercars use, but hey, it happened.
  18. No-one really broke much .... and I did a 1:49.3 best in my 183rwkw V35 daily, from memory Josh did a 1:46 in his 270rwkw GTST, Red Back in his 280awkw R33GTR did a low 1:45 in the first session (then did 2 sessions at unknowingly low boost = split an intercooler hose and retired for the day), Andrew from AM Performance did a 1:46 in his 300rwkw R33GTST from memory, and Ryan from ISC coilovers did a 1:43 best in his S14 to take out 2nd place in modified rwd class!
  19. Your car looked mint rubzy! Good to see you back on SAU. Yeah, join up to SAU:SA asap mate - a lot goes on in there (we have our own private forums) that the general SAU don't see ....
  20. Nothing like a bit of Hellfire in the evening
  21. ^^^ helps a LOT if you have one of these handy (my brother-in-law David has one) http://factory.dhgate.com/body-repair-equipment/disc-brake-piston-compressor-hy-2037-p37722801.html Otherwise it is a royal pita to release the pistons enough to get the new pad in. You can just loosen the bleed nipple a tad and squeeze the pistons open though. Either way it is an easy job Krish!
  22. Gates open at 8am, so plan to be there then. Mallala is only about half an hour from Caltex, and Clem is often a few minutes late getting the gates open
  23. There is a meet point at Caltax Bolivar for anyone interested at 7:30am - leaving 7:40am SHARP (unless I am late ) I will have $1.50 cans of drink for sale out there (Coke, Zero, Fanta, Creaming soda, Lemonade, Lemon Squash, Passiona) , as well as some $1.50 muffins, lamingtons and donuts for those with hunger pangs. More substantial meals are available at the Mallala pub and the IGA/deli in Mallala. See you all tomorrow for a big one!
  24. I will have some variety of drinks and choccie bars there for sale for those that are in need ..... see people at 7:30am Caletex Bolivar (we will leaeve at 7:40am SHARP), or Mallala gates open 8am! It is going to be an awesome day!
