I went down last night. The strip was cr*p in my opinion. Best i got was 14.1 Same with my mates Silvia who has got 13.6 before, couldnt crack 13s last night. A few lines down there including a R33 GTST with GTR rims, kit and badges And a white R34 GTT, with the worst bodykit i ever saw. The rear wing was terrible. (no offence just my opinion) Oh and in the carpark was a R33 GTR N1....with plates [R33 GTR N1]

Sure do! Yeah i live near Armadale and work in Freo so im back and forth every day. I saw a red R33 turning off of Albany highway onto Armadale road the other day.....think i seen it a few times before around that area, so it must be you.

Well i havent read all the replies so apologies if i repeat something but.... When i first got my 33GTST, it would stall at lights. Basically if the car was revving and i put the clutch in, it would just drop and die, but if i slowed the car down throught the gears, and bought the revs down gently it was fine. Anyways i called that guy at Melville auto imports and he said make sure you are using premium (which i was) and run injector cleaner through it. Anyway after a few weeks it stopped. I should add that the car was FULLY stock so it wasnt BOV related. Since put an atmo bov on and i have never had a stalling problem. So maybe its not the BOV Kymbo.

Yeah the pricks...oh well not much i can do. The annoying thing is i NEVER have them on for this reason....but i was dropping my GF off at her house and i turned them on so she could see her way down the driveway, because i didnt want to turn my headlights on and annoy people asleep in the front room. Yeah everyone does appear to be selling. I have lost my license through points.... I have been on 3 points for ages and have been on my best behaviour. A few months ago i got a fine for having my driving lights on ($100 no mention of points), didnt pay it so i got a final demand..... 3 points!!! Rang them and basically on the hand written fine there is a disclaimer saying cops arent expected to rememeber all demerit points for all different offences. I guess thats fair enough. But i dont find 3 points for having driving lights on very fair. They arent even bright and arent fog lights IMO. Anyway can't fight the system so it seems when i pay it (due 3rd dec) i will lose my licence. Kym - nah that 1 point thing is too risky in my opinion....think i shall learn my lesson over 3 months of public transport. Greg - Probably looking at $22g but i doubt ill get that....but i shall start there and see how i go. Puckish - um im not really sure which road that is, but nah i dont think so. i have seen another 2 toned like mine near the train station (asking for trouble). Mine has the GTR wing if you see it.

Well i agree with most of this. I personally havent seen a lightly modded R33 get those times, but now im happy to hear they can!....maybe everyone else is just a cr*ppy driver Um just one thing Rob your keen running 1 bar with the stock cooler! Ive seen R33 turbos blow with less boost pressure. Anyways good to hear guys. Ben

godfather thats the same clutch i got form there. Seems good. But the grip point is real close to the floor, im used to it now,but you might want to get them to adjust it. the only cr ap thing is it makes a loudish squeaking noise on idle wthout the clutch pushed in. when you push it in the sound stops. to me it sounds like a squeaky fan belt or something but obviously its related to the clutch. it sounds sh*t,but i havent been bothered going back there to get them to fix it. Rob yeah i got 235 rubber on all fours. think they are 7.5" wide. Cost about..... $2300 i think. Thats with LM701s which are cheaper than 901s but still a bloody good tyre in my opinion.

I got 17" matrix on my R33 about 2 or 3 months ago....They look good. 18" would be sweet, JBR33 (think thats the plates) has Chrome Matrix, but from memory they are 17"s Nice rim but. Ben

You talking to me or the other bloke? Ill agree but i wont be surprised if i dont crack 13s....my 14.0 was a fluke i think. It was my first run of 14 that day and i revved to 3grand, dumped the clutch and all i got was grip!! no wheel spin.... it was weird. after that it got real slippery Still if the miracle grip thing happens again ill be happy. SAFC is the next mod on the list.

I ran 14.0 with full 3" exhaust, Pod and 10psi. I since got new clutch and bigger, wider wheels, so i hope to hit a 13.9.

Well just to update on my scratch..... the kids paying me $300 tomorrow night. Although he claims he "didnt scratch my car he only let down the tires", but he wants "this whole thing to go away". What a load of cr*p! little sh*t. the cop says thats as good as im gonna get without hard evidence. Spose hes right. So im gonna have to fork out the other $400 odd to cover the repair (about $700) grrr! Hopefully get it fixed this week or next. Also the dad of this kid reckons i keep "driving past their house doing burnouts and making phone calls to them" ........errr get your hand off it mate what good is doing burnouts? Wouldnt waste my time... im not driving a commo! Dickhead. Also got my wheel fixed .... the locking nut was rounded off but bob jane got it off and replaced them all. Ben

hehe yeah... i was just winding you up man. actually that corner has a few bumps in it too. that wouldnt have helped. anyways i dont exactly have a clean track record when it comes to 180ing it off the road on a cruise (read mandurah cruise) lucky for me all i hit was a heap of grass.

ran a low 11 on wed night at the plex. Supposedly that was at 3/4 throttle and it is capable of 9's.... But believe that when you see it....not before.
