I agree the media defiantly blow this stuff out of proportion...but what can you do. The police have made a statement saying they are going to crack down on the meetings or whatever so if you continue to go and get yellows or whatever than thats your own fault. If people ARE racing around endagering others well then those d*ckheads deserve to be busted by the cops..... as much as i like cars etc there is no need to endanger people on a VERY busy road.

I also painted mine a while ago. Sanded them back and then used special brake caliper paint - but its just high temp paint. Then sanded back the Nissan bit looks pretty good. Ben

Driving home tonight and when im in 3rd or 4th doing a normal speed (70kmh) then tramp it the car revs about 500-1000rpm higher than normal and then drops make down and revs up normally. Is this a slipping clutch? I am assuming it is but i have never driven a car with a slipping clutch. Just want to make sure before i get a new one. Thanks Ben

Whilst on the subject of buying Skylines, doeas anyone else think the following is a rip off? 1995 R33 GTST (series 1) 30,000km :lol: 3" Turbo back exhaust Tein suspension - lowered 17" Volk Racing wheels $32,000!!! I met a guy last night with the above...... And thats what he paid. Talk about ripped off!!! He bought it from a caryard in Cannington (pm me for name). I tried to tell him he got ripped but i thought i shouldn't as I didnt want him to feel bad hehe.

Yeah thats Michael my mate from work. Thats fast that little thing......S13s are a wicked "Bang for your Buck" car. He ran 13.66 on street tyres. Another S13 ran 13.5 but he was using slicks. Michael has only got pod, exhaust, intercooler and 15psi..... not bad. We are just about to ordered a SAFC ($472) each... Adam - his car didn't blow up it was just a part of the intercooler piping came off but it was easily fixed on the spot. You can't laugh anyways.......... Ben

Well the springs aren't the expensive part its the shocks...... wouldn't lower my car without new shocks it screws the handling apparently.... plus my front shocks are smashed.

Yeah i was going to get the suspension soon but i only got half finance from Bob Jane so I had to use my "suspension money" to pay the other half of the rims... Annoying. Will be a few months before i get it I reckon

Oh yeah and a sunroof.... and ABS which i have been told is a bit rare for a series 1. Yeah defiantly go the GTR rear wind it makes a difference I reckon. Nah I just got a personal loan throught the Commonwealth bank so I didn't need finance. You can also buy a 3 year warrantly off of them for about $400 i think..... I was stupid and didn't get it but he said i could come back anytime and get it....... 1.5years later its probably too late Anyways warranty is probably void since i have modded it a bit. Ben
