saw a red r32 with an R32 GTR front or mabye it was a GTR on Maxwell St in penrith today. It sounded and looked stock

where do you work benm? North sydney cant be half as bad as peak hour sydney from 3:30pm - 5:00pm the M4 is at a standstill until you pass the toll heading towards penrith. one day I was going to go to parramatta by train but there was a train strike. had to take westbus on the M4 to seven hills then after that a bus to parramatta. 2 and a half hours. it only takes 40 mins or so by car. I had to do the same thing back to penrith. must have been 60 people in one bus. went back to seven hills and there werent many people in the line for penrith ( about a full bus with no standers ). Spent half the day travelling

the V35 one is starting to grow on me. looks quiet nice with some decent wheels

the r31s are 4 stud and the r33s are 5, how is this going to work? unless you get a 5stud conversion kit you can find them at R31 HOUSE you might need a translator if you dont know japanese.babelfish - altavista

i think from memory its close to 13 flat, its 13.02 but im not sure if thats the r33 or r34 gtr

i dont know why anyone would buy a 100k holden. There complete rubbish, 285KW is nothing if its a mammoth. i saw a purple one in penrith plaza once, the ones where you donate money and you go into a draw to win it. All these people around my age looking at it and thinking how good it is.

i found this in the r31 Skyline Manual. its alot better than what the Ford and holden manuals were. i said two were made in 2003 in another thread a week or so ago. one Vspec II and an M-SPEC. i made a mistake in my post before. There werent 2 made in 2002 there were 1775.

i saw FST3** ( i forget the last 3 numbers ) on high st in penrith, was maroon. Also while on mulgoa rd i saw a silver R33 GTR in a light shop car park just before the MegaMart or what ever its called heading towards the M4, Looked like it had IMPUL wheels. Edit : OMFG i just saw an r33 GTR for the 2nd time in 1 day. I heard it before it past my house then the driver put the foot down and I heard the rb26 :wassup: It makes my blood go cold and my hair stand up. thats when i knew it was a skyline. i looked out the window to see it pass, in a matter of a second the hot plate lights were gone.

if you hear the noise while you accelerate and get of the petrol it's usually a gear backlash or worn gear issue. but if its a constant noise its most likely to be a bearing problem. though yours brother diff sounds like its on the way out. r31nismoid is right, alot of the r31 diffs have diff whine. its not something uncommen

have u ever changed the diff oil? it could be a stuffed axle bearing. youll still be able to drive it, its only when it gets really load that i think u need a new diff. that happened in our r31 at around 670000kms. but we didnt get a new one we just got the old one fixed because they were quiet expensive at the time new. its now got to 220000kms on the original diff

wouldnt you have to get a different sump because of the front diff casing?

damn power play imports sell these things for $650 normal and $675 for the calsonic. you could almost buy an rb20det for that.

how frequently will you be travelling (needing transport)? everyday or just on the weekend? if your not working every day then id say dont bother with the silvia. 6-$8000 is still alot of money for only 1 months use. i agree with red900ss with the taxis or use public transport and save for the 6 months

Holden Commodore L (1980??) - was called cursed ( it was nothing but trouble, lost of engine trouble, we got hit in it 5-6 times i think. it finnaly got written off while we were going to gosford. mitsubishi colt (1985) - lol my dad used to call it his little mercedes.used to jerk while going into 2nd gear on cold mornings. I bought some Shell helix Plus (green bottle), it stoped the jerking. ford falcon ea (1990) - i call it jelly ( seems so soft it feels like it has jelly suspension.i hate it ) R31 Nissan skyline (1989) - I call it "the red car" (its red ) i remember looking for a used car with my dad after the commodore. It was bright red like the r31 GTS2s up on the steel ramp things you can get from super cheap auto. We bought it and have had it for 8 yrs now. When we first had it you could hardly hear the engine running, it performed better than any commodore or falcon that we tried at the time. Now it runs on HOT all day,Every day. needs a service badly. I think the thermostate is all rusted up and stuck closed. I might flush the radiator on the weekend.. arrgg might aswell throw the thing out and get one from the reckers. there must be so much shit in the cooling system. i bet the water is like liquid bronze. arghh.. enough of my rambling
