  2. yes japanparts.com is reliable, jst bought some stuff from them few weeks ago...took less than 2 weeks to arrive. I have been lookin at the bonnet lip as well...will probably get them in the near future. They are however slightly different to the one you pictured above...

  7. OK guys, Up for new tyres soon in 18s, 235 fronts and 255 rears. Ozzy quoted me $1150 for ST115s fitted which is an awesome price IMO. Bob Jane told me they are a discontinued line, recommended me the new range of ZE-329 for 1k fitted. I've done a google on them and chked the falken website but nothing on the new 329s. Anybody out there care to shed some light??? BJ reckon they are the new and better replacement for the crappy ZE326? Any info appreciated. Thanks Jon
  8. and u won't get 17 yr old dreamers offering u $500 for it!
  9. The answers are pretty much all in there. And there's no right or wrong answer. He can sell his for 30k by all means but whether or not people will BUY it at that price is another story. Yes, not everyone buys from Jspec but thats just an example of what is available out there. I purchased mine for 32k a year and a half ago, auto, turbo, 36ks on the clock... Since then I have learnt a lot more about these cars and what they go for now. If I were to buy another one today, I would definately not pay 30k for it again, knowing whats out there.
  10. Just an example of many that are out there...similar to yours in Kms with maybe a few less bolt on mods... http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=6189 http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=5891 http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=5243 http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=4655 (bargain!)
  11. you would be better off removing some of the mods and selling the car stock...if u had a look at some of the prices Jspec are bringing them in for nowadays...makes u wanna cry for some one who has purchased their 34 in the past year or 2...
  12. All spacers are illegal, regardless of slip on or bolt on. although Bolt on ones are safer IMO, they are still illegal. using the wheel offset calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Ur inner clearance from strut housing will be 22mm LESS Ur Outer position will extend an extra 16mm This is in comparison to your stock wheel offsets. From the above you may likely experience rubbing on the strut housing due to the clearance becoming 22mm less.
  13. yes, use the wheel offset calculator to see how much the wheel retracts or moves further out from the guard. With 30mm guards you could also look at 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears. As long as they don't scrub against your suspension or guards you'll have one phat 32!
  14. +45 is normally for standard guards...you would be looking at anything from a +5, +10, +15 offset.. with 30mm guards, u might even be able to get away with negative offset!! Yummmmy disshhhhhhh.... Do a google for wheel offset calculator. Remember, the smaller the offset, the more dish, the more the wheel sticks out further from the center of the hub.
  15. slip on spacers are cheap...you can pick them up for around $10 each or thereabouts... The bolt on ones are dearer, they start at around $100 per pair roughly. I've used both...wouldn't ever recommend it unless you are desperate.
  16. surely they wouldn't be able to comply it without the proper import papers?? Personally I'd be checking out wreckers and forums for ppl selling off cheap parts.
  17. +37 for the fronts MAY fit, depend on whether the wheel has high disk clearance. +43 for the rears almost definate they won't clear the brakes. Remember, stock 34 wheels are 17x7.5 +40 front and rear. I would be very wary about buying the above mentioned wheels unless trial fitting is allowed before purchase. Chances are you will probably need spacers. What wheels are these by the way?
  18. nice score on the sunroof! those look like old school nismo wheels but I could be wrong..
  19. As above + its similar to a pod filter except you don't get heat soak and the cops don't have any reason to ping you for it. DJ, which state are u located? Give us a run down...sedan or coupe? manual/auto? etc...
  20. welcome to the 34 club! Nice find with low kays. As long as it runs well and looks immaculate thats all you could ask for in an import...low kays or not. I picked my 99 model up 2 years ago with around 36ks on the clock and from the looks of things it looked pretty genuine... I reckon an imobiliser and alarm would be ur priority instead of turbo timer or boost controller... If ur gonna leave it pretty much stock for awhile, I suggest picking up a K&N panel filter to replace the stock paper element. Post some pics when u have them!
  21. Sorry to hear dude, U've not had much luck with importing hey?? first the 34 and now this...! Hope you find some answers soon..!
  22. Spotted Kermit Green R34 with GTR front at Runcorn! Hornnn!! Plates were R34.
  23. ur camber probably is probably out of whack...its probably sitting like this at the moment.. / / instead of / \
