  1. where was it purchased originally and is it a good fit or modifications needed?
  2. I've used Betta Automatix at Kelvin Grove before. They did a full rebuild of the auto in my Bluebird a few years back. Very professional and they've been in the business for many years. Look them up in the whitepages.
  3. either a manual with an auto steering wheel or originally an auto converted to manual. The TV thing looks aftermarket. If you have the VIN number you'll be able to determine if it was an auto in its past life.
  4. Are you talking about 4 days for it to get repaired or 4 days to get it approved? Depends on the damage though...mine was 7k worth of replacement parts and labour... Second time, scraped my front bar...dropped it in got it back the next day, fully resprayed bar good as new
  5. Chris has done all my cars too...and his motto is "God help the thief that tries to hotwire this car"
  6. Reminds me of when someone rammed be from behind in my old U13 Atessa ages ago. Covered by the other party's insurer, I chose my repairer. All brand new panels and parts flown in from Japan (it was an import) and yes it took 2 full months to complete. Didn't really complain coz I was getting a full respray as well. But make sure they use new panels! as its an insurance claim, as long as you're paying the excess, make them pay for new parts and panels...no dodgy panel work! 2 months is reasonable I guess...took the bus to and from work for 2 whole months....good luck!

  8. That might have been me! Pulled out of the Kings carpark around tht time..sorry didn't see you was busy concentrating on the damn traffic...saw a few 33s though...
  9. They are an LM GT1 pretty sure. Nice wheels pity you are in NT....would you be willing to ship? I have some dished wheels coming from Japan for my 34 next week, still deciding whether to keep them...otherwise...chk my sig if you are interested in what I currently have. The ones coming from Japan have 60mm and 80 mm dish front and rear respectively.
  10. There is a member on here R34GTX (S2 R34GTT sedan auto) whose only mod is a FULL CES exhaust which cost a small fortune...and during the SAU dyno night achieved 177kw atw from a Dyno that was apparently reading a bit low too. I, on the other hand S1 R34GTT sedan auto with only an apexi catback and panel filter got 147kw atw. I wouldn't worry too much about your figure as it is pretty respectable for only exhaust mods.
  11. ouch!....white ants????
  12. Alex! You are the only one I've heard apart from myself that has Gold Badging!! I was told they were a rare factory option. Gold "S", SKYLINE, Nissan, and GT badges on the side So there you go, they do exist!!
  13. Was that what you did with my car?? Good thing u had practice
  14. You can't have quality work done and not expect to pay for it. www.powerplayimports.com.au do the east bear GTR front kit for the GTT, includes bonnet, front bar and lip for $3500 not including fitting and painting. Only way you can cut cost is in labour if you have mates that know what they are doing...but don't whinge when you don't get the quality you expected.
  15. Here's mine. PUrchased more than a year ago from Motorman Imports in QLD. Strongly recommend them if you are after a clean import. They have heaps of 34s. I'm pretty lucky as I haven't had any dramas with it even after driving it 30Ks later still drives like new and mileage is awesome. Trick is to find a clean example and keep up the regular maintainence ie oil chges every 5000k etc...
  16. get a mechanic to test your battery first...tht was my problem a few weeks ago...car had a weak crank and felt as if it was gonna die...ended up being the battery itself.
  17. feel sorry for you about those damn long euro plates that don't even come close to fitting on ur rear bar...otherwise...welcome! My advice is...think twice before you put that huge wing on
  18. Taken directly from the QLD transport ADR guide: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/LTASinf...%20_Feb2004.pdf Steering wheels must be at least 350mm in diameter and must not be more than 26mm smaller than the original steering wheel. Queensland Transport will accept products with the following brand names: Momo, Australi, ET, SAAS, Autotechnica, Formuling and OBA. Your momo steering wheel is legal provided, ur car didn't come standard with an airbag steering wheel and the diameter is not smaller than 350mm. Good luck!
  19. jst make sure they are ADR approved otherwise u'll get defected :laughing-smiley-014:
  20. yes all 34s come with folding mirrors from factory afaik, its a very common feature in most jap imports...even my 1991 S13 has it. My 1990 U13 bluebird had it too...
  21. just make sure ur EDFC is compatible with the HA model...
  22. Spotted White R33 today at black st, milton...waved and got a wave back !
  23. try ur local autobarn. The ones in Brissie stock them.
  24. The photo shoot I'm interested in dependent on location, but the framing part probably not. Everyone probably has their own budget and liking for a particular frame and it would probably be too much hassle to meet everyones needs. I say we keep it simple, make it a casual event, ppl rock up, take heaps of pics...make some new friends and enjoy the short meet. my 2cents
