  1.  No, not at all just different.
  2. not car related but had a huntsman in my room once, above the door so when I turned around he was there so I couldn't get out. Everytime I moved he flared up ready to fight... So I chucked pillows, shoes and everything else I could at him and missed everytime. It was like an old western movie with a stand off that lasted about 45 minutes. eventually I called in for back up, and got my mobile rang my sister sleeping next door and said come in and get it! She opened the door, smashed it with a shoe and went back to bed without even saying a word.... I have never lived it down. I can handle snakes and all sorts of spiders without a bother but when it comes to the hunts man, I shit myself! I actually have a rolled up newspaper under my backseat and a can of baygon in the glove box that is how paranoid I am. I am also guilty of printing this out for further ideas and am going home to spray my car
  3. There is alot more than changing the above. ... Even if you change these things they still don't fit... however, I must agree with you on that fact that they look good anyway, but I am biased

    Mr Sly

I have always been curious about this and I am in no way having a dig at you, but do you get paid to have that sticker down the side of your car? I know people with shopping lists don't but curious as that Greddy sticker is HUGE! As I said I am not judging, just curious....
  6. Haven't bumped in a while... remeber I am negotiable
  7. As mentioned above, yes the Skyline is a great car, no you have NO CHANCE in getting cheap insurance and before you keep argueing with your dad you should give Just Cars a call and get a sample quote, I think this will be enough to turn both you and your dad off. Just remember he is also thinking of your best interests... Yes they insure modified cars and are open to young drivers, but they will hit you in the pocket for it. Also, why not think about getting something to learn on and build your way up to owning a Skyline or performance car, I know it isn't what you want to hear but I would hate to be reading about you in the papers... Man, I think I went all Dr Phil on him
  8. Awsome looking car and very very very rare too Congrats, enjoy it.
  9. I also own a 4 door and agree with what Booster said, although thankfully I haven't had to try and find parts for it yet (touch wood). Before I bought it I also looked into how available parts are for the car and though they may be limited, there are also limited 4 doors on the road, so it kind of works out even..... if that makes sense?? Besides, a good part of the car is common with the coupe... There is also ALOT of places that deal with import parts and panels these days, perhaps try calling them and seeing how much different parts are and how easily you could get them... Also a slight plug, my 4 door is for sale at the moment PM me if you want details
  10. Edwardo: Have you got any pics of the car, dying to see them....
  11. yeh its ok, the R on the engine is chipped off......... Nah seriously, it is IMMACULATE, asking a fair bit for it though...
  12. I thought the McClarens in 98-00 were supreme purely because of their breaking setup. They were the first team to introduce the power of breaking between corners from inside the cabin. Placing more pressure to the front/rear/right and left hand side of the car. It took the other teams some time to catch up but they got there, Ferrari still had straight line speed... I am mostly disappointed with Williams this year, they talked it up like they were going to be the fastest out there all year but haven't been that at all. It will be interesting next year with less difference between the teams... and of couse Webber in a Williams
  13. Exatly what I was thinking... You can't say that it is all fine because VL's don't have them, cause if it was all fine they wouldn't of introduced them to new cars... It won't make your turbo shit itself overnight, but it does increase the shaft play of the turbo... Think about it, the turbo is spinning one way, you clutch, air has nowhere to go but back through the turbo the oppisite way to its spinning...... that can't be good. Anyways not here to argue about it, I am sure everyone has their own opinion on it, and I am no expert. Just letting you know if you hadn't thought of it, which obviously you had.... so I withdraw my 2 cents worth
  14. If I am reading this right, you know its not to good for the turbo to block off the BOV?? You may already know this, but just thought I would check...
  15. I'll go out there and say supercharger??? or Gilmer (spelling?) drive........ can you put this on a 31?
  16. yeh could be... I think the reason why he is slower comes down to driver ability, don't get me wrong he is good but not up to schuey's standards. As for 3 stops, is it the drivers decision at the end of the day? It's also to note on the weekend that really Schey had it all wrapped up... 7 laps to go and barrichello was 6 seconds ahead of him, Schey pulled him in in 3 laps then got the orders not to overtake so he just sat 1 second behind for the final 3 laps... He would overtaken Barachello easy and finished a couple of seconds ahead if it wasn't for team instructions. It gives me the shits how people talk about schuey like it is his car that does all the work, thats crap, barichello has the same running gear and can't keep up with him... Fair enough the Ferraris are quick, much like Honda in MotoGP, but take for example Rossi... Moved from the fastest team and manufactuer and went to one of the slowest.... Still winning. I think if you took the Ferrari away from Schuey, he would still be a force.
  17. I think he uses 3 so that he has a lighter fuel load on board when he qualifies... But thats just my opinion. magic1: Barichello first, Schuey second.... Ferrari 1 and 2.
  18. Hey mate... I have the perfect car for you... PM me for my mobile... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...077#post1009077
  19. Buy mine... Perfect/Showroom condition.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=49549 If you want to chat, PM me and I will send you my mobile number.... :D
  20. Don't forget Barichello.... he had 3 pit stops the rest of the field only had 2... If he had of gone out on slicks and didn't have to make that stop after the first 3 laps he would of been an extra 27 seconds ahead... Not taking anything away from Schuey, he is still a step ahead of the game.
  21. Amoore This has been covered off many times here... run a search on the subject and you will probably find 100 threads that will help you out... From what I have read here if you have a 33 than the Power FC will be your pest bet... There is alot of mixed opinions on the e-manage (it is efinately no where near the same leauge as the Power FC)... Another option if you have a 32 could be the Link, which is very popular in NZ.... My 2 cents, and I am no expert...
  22. Check out the third pic its standard..... Man, you can't even make a typo these days without people doubting everything... Very nice std. GTR, good luck with the sale and price seems perfect......
