spotted SPOOIS this morning on Lane Cove road.... Saw it on the cruise on Sunday and seeing it again today confirmed it is the nicest 32 GTR I have seen....

I agree, just because people have got a clean record doesn't mean they are a safer driver and a better driver.... it can mean that they are lucky to of never been caught doing something stupid. I don't think that there is overly too much that the government is going to be able to do to prevent this, as someone mentioned above, it won't stop you ng people dying! Ban from the car - they will take it anyway Advanced driving course - Won't help when you hit a bump in the road doing 200km/h Scare campaign (that the stupid telegraph are trying) - Won't work, nearly everyone lives by the same motto "won't happen to me" have a look at the cigarette campaigns, they try to scare you on the front of the packet, I am a smoker and I ignore it. Take their licence - They will drive without it I don't mean to sound negative, but I honestly can't see a solution that will change the way people act on the road. Some people drive carefully, others don't....

sure is, looks like it happened just outside the petrol station/carwash... There are always people speeding down norwest and seeing how fast they can go through the roundabouts... I can't tell you how many times a car has tried to race me down that road!!! The driver is apparently 30 years old and made it to hospital what happened after that I don't know....

Shi*, I live just around the corner from here.... About 11:30 last night I heard a helicopter and went outside to have a look it was hovering right above norwest and I was thinking I wonder what has happened.... now I know. That looks horrific... I may be generalising that this person was not driving safely, but by the looks of the car and mess it made - they weren't.

I have been here for a little while now and am yet to meet anybody who would prioritise a car over a life.... Lots of people on this forum have expressed their sorrow for the victims and their family and friends. This event is another way for members to express their sorrow and to show that they actually do care.

You can negotiate to keep the carcus of the car... I mean they will give you a certain amount and you keep the car... may be worth it incase you can sell off parts seperately??

:uh-huh: They are different and therefore don't look like any other Skyline.... In my opinion keep the taillights... I thought about changing mine when I first got the car, now I wouldn't dream of it, I actually like them more than coupes....

yeh I am more worried about sending him any more details... If anyone else out there has had an e-mail from him his address is [email protected] yeh think it is probably best to ignore him although it is tempting to write back and tell him to get stuffed.... Man I would laugh if it is some rich arab sitting on an oil field and he is serious.... but not worth the risk....

I owned a S13 Silvia and now I own a R32GTS-T... S13 was probably quicker down a straight line, however, you can't beat the build of a Skyline... In my opinion my silvia just didn't cut it, the interior was bland, cheap and had no appeal. Although I must admit I do like the SR20 powerplant better as it will eat an RB20 mod for mod everytime... I ran my old Silvia with my Skyline and got my arse handed to me... But as I said the Skyline is a much better build, handles better and driving everyday is much much more comfortable... Power/engine - Silvia Build quality/handling - Skyline

Each to his own man, but I will ask nicely.... please don't do it, pretty please..... Sell the neon kit and put the money towards something useful, like turbo, cooler... anything but Neons.
