  1. Say it then and also show me where I called it drift for retards.
  2. Man its good that you are doing that and Im sure a lot of people are thankfull for you organising an event. Should do a couple more so more people can enjoy the sport!! Again Dezz, trying to score brownie points with the SAU crew has to speak in his mind about what he thinks the Pro drifters think. Come and hang out with Us Dezz. You really need to learn some people skills. Thats why I suppose people like Luke Fink regularly do Skidpan days ey Dezz? But hey, Drift Australia winning driver would look down on skidpan days woudnt he. I remember going to a SAU meeting Dezz where people were commenting on what a twat you were. You must have made a killer comeback.
  3. Good Stuff!
  4. You can Come talk to me Scotsman!! I agree though there is a sense of arrogance at the events but out of the events its pretty relaxed. Dezz - Dont accuse me of doing shit I just spoke to a mate of mine and hes asked me if we had, Wudnt waste my precious time or money speaking to you. MizJUZ. Full lock is 3 years ago. Its nothing now. I know the guys at driftline as well so what? Most of the names mentioned Arent even drifting in DA next year. We are discussing a scene here!
  5. Thats alrite Mizjus fair enough if you dont like it, but there are many good people in the scene I know of and very little idiots. Dezz - go and keep using people - Ive heard about your tyrekicking. Btw I heard theres cheap flights to NZ and free accom - perfect for a cheapskate like you!!
  6. Who do you know Miss JUZ? Any Drift Australia Drivers? Any Super Drift Drivers? Two of my close mates compete in Drift Australia and they are heavily involved in the Melbourne Drift scene. Mega Power Is one of the most upcoming drivers in Melbourne and competes in Super Drift so Its safe to say hes got 10 times more of a clue than you do. Getting sideways out of Noble park maccas doesnt count as a drifter.
  7. Seriously though, why did drift32sedan post get deleted - it didnt have anything offensive in it. As a close mate of mine I think its unfair how post like that are deleted simply because they state the truth. Lots of you guys dont get what its all about and what the scene is and who the people in it are. They are just like you guys, enjoy driving there cars. You dont see us smirking and scoffing at track days and DECA days, but the moment drift is mentioned, you get a whole lotta people on here with the "yeah i tried its nothing special" because they cant drift properly. Drifting is just as demanding as Track days, but the best thing about it is that to be successful at competition level, its not all about how big your wallet is.
  8. In all my Cars Ive used the ACS Xtreme clutches. 9 Puck Cushioned Button Plate. I cant reccomend them any more, they are a great value clutch and take an absolute hiding. I do a fair bit of Drifting and I dont think any other sort of motorsport is more harsh on Clutches!!
  9. To be honest I dont know anyone that drifts with Neons.
  10. im there!
  11. spot on. If I get one, the little TD05 will be out of it in the first day. Trust T67-25G + 50mm gate to Atmosphere thank you.
  12. Pure hotness!! I want one!
  13. Im really up in the air about what Evo I want to get. I am keeping my cefiro as well. I like the Look and the rawness of the Evo 6.5. But I loathe the interior, cheap plastic shit. Evo 8s are all round better but also carry a slightly higher price tag. What I want to know from you guys is , Is the 8 THAT much better handling/Grip wise or does its extra weight over the 6 make the cars similar. Never forget 5 years ago when I went in my First Evo, was a white Tommi Mak 6.5 and its brutality was something outta this world!!
  14. I was one of the benchwarmers watching alex fitting the kit. I have never seen so many f**king bolts holding together something, EVER!! The Nissans autos are vastly different from the Toyotas!! Goes very well with the shift kit, very positive shift. Alex do a ECU reset when its a bit cooler then take it for a boot! Itll chirp even harder!
  15. they called ur car a GTR brisby!
  16. Couple of my mates from Perth feature in the WA cruise and a bit of illegal action.
  17. I got My New rims the other day so A Mate thought hed take some pics!
  18. hey guys Having a problem with the ceffy. Sometimes when im drifting or reversing and hold the car on full lock, the steering wheel kinda gets stuck. Very dangerous. Also I have noticed a bit of PS fluid leaking, I top it up often but I still notice the leak. I have HICAS in mine with a lock bar. Ive been told it could be the steering rack or to piss off the HICAS pump with a NON hicas one. Anyone experienced similar problems Thanks in advance Kim

Exactly as Roy said, take your car out, my near standard R33 was busting consistent 12.5s and there were guys out there that spent so much money on the same cars had more power but couldnt even crack a 12. Its called going out there and not worrying about what you get. I always get the question, how do u get 1.8 second 60 footers on a RWD running crappy 18inch Dunlops? Practise and no nerves makes perfect. Its the same with drifting, my Cefiros pretty damn stock and most people ive met with similar mods to mine in a R32 would say nah nah its not powerful enough or spend too much time worrying about suspension, diff etc. ALL you need to do is get out there and have a hit!! Finally Kamikaze, none of the street drifters I know have Vopt stickers. Most silvias I know dont go out to the illegals to drift. PS: Brisby bring your car to Calder drift tonite I wanna hear some 3rd gear external gate action!

There are many people on NS that drive skylines and vice versa with Silvias on SAU. R31Nismoid is even on there - so how can you bag it when you are a part of it!! We dont and never think its a free ride on here. Id much rather the stupidty and harmlessness of those on NS than the arrogance of some people on here.

ToF your on NS.com as well, so what are you trying to be? An attention seeker, thats all. The cops dont give you brownie points for trying to be mature on a forum. Funny as a lot of you talk like angels yet have modified cars. Why the big intercooler, boost controller, coilovers, boost gauge? What for? You cant tell me you dont punch it when you get on the street to try it out. Otherwise you might as well have kept the standard car if you had it for looks and if you were a dedicated track person you would have the car unregistered. It sickens me about the amount of people here that are trying to be goodie goodies. When they are just hypocrits and drive hard anyway. To those people I suggest buying a family car rather than a sports car. From what I remember, buying a sportscar meant you drive it like a sportscar. No wonder the older guys with tough cars think jap car drivers are pussys, its because there all becoming like that!!

Rowdy To the claim that most drifters think there d1 is bullshit. I know a fair few melbourne drifters and they are down to earth and really dont consider themselves top, it shows by the interest to practise. I know more people who have claimed to have done a "track day" that think they have the best track driving skills out!! 275s are rediculous and So are streched 195s. You need grip to drift, If you have a turbocharged car, you need some grip to drift safely and properly. I find the wider the tyre is, the more stable the car is sideways. Your not gonna find narrow tyres with low profile. On stock rims, narrow tyres usually have a 55/60 profile which feels crap to drift on. Good thinking if your trying to get your Gemini or Corolla sideways. Most Imports have 2-4 times the power of those cars.
