heheeh Widebody JD would be very very nice. I wouldnt do a VR4 conversion, simply because it takes the originality away from it. Maybe when Im a bit older Id love to buy one and restore it. I always have a soft spot for a starion!!!

Chaser was too nice to slide around. Didnt even have a scratch on it! I will consider a 1JZ/T04Z combo in a ceffy. That would be insane! Got torque?

Yeah to say the 1JZ VVTi is smooth as silk is an understatement. But at least ive had the car, enjoyed it and was proud to have owned one. RB20DET isnt a bad thing. Bang for your buck.

Hey guys Just sold my Chaser on the weekend, sad times it was a f**king awesome car but I just couldnt keep away from the Nissans hehehe. Thats the car as is off the boat so its covered in dust and other crap. Cleans up real nice !!.

lol Honestly, I dont understand why some people persist. In a R33 skyline, Anything less than 250kw doesnt really warrant the need for slicks. Id respect someone more for getting good times on 18s that getting similar times on slicks. Theres no real skill involved with slicks unless ur making Big power. Street car - Street tyres full stop.

what for? The street or to race at the track? You dont need semi slicks, you just need to spend good money and get good tyres. I had 243 rwkw in my R33 and ran 12.5 on 18 inch 265 Potenza 8000e. 1.8 Second 60 ft. Thats what most GTRs get with 4WD. So many idiotic mates of mine always go and get slicks or semis, and there times are really average. On the strip, If you have less than 300 rwkw in a skyline and need slicks, you just dont know how to drive

I want a 4WD to go riding and tow my dirtbike. To drive around town, they are fairly slow, bulky, hard to park, annoying. People have a sense of security in them, and hey, even with all the bs its 2000 times more likely to roll and its more dangerous and so on, if another car T bones ya, u stand a better chance than if you were in a small car. Men buy them for there wives and families to commute in because they can seat a lot of kids, the wagon style lets u pack the boot well and at the day peace of mind because they are bigger that other cars. So in saying all that, yes Id love one for the bush and no I would definetly not get one as a daily around the city.

thats the trouble with car specific forums, they think there particular cars are the best! Im very much against the XR6 turbo, the only possible thing it had going for it is straight line, but with premium fuel nudging 2 dollars a liter, that 4 liter is gonna be one thirsty boat.

Yes thats right it was the WA state government that didnt want it. I dont think there is or will be any better rally stages than the ones like the Southern WA forests. It was a true purpose only Rally location. It will be a tough act to follow, Im glad I was able to go to 3 Rally Australias because I know QLD would never be able to provide similar roads and atmosphere.

Thats the worst news I heard. It was so damn awesome when it was in Perth, the specators loved it and the drivers even loved it. It will be a big blow to Western Australia. everyone talks this and that when have you seen a 300 kw F6 cut a 11 second time or absolutely rip you on the street? Never. 300rwkw. Wouldnt be nothing special, with driver and passenger, the cars weighing in at 2 tonnes. Thats a lot of weight. A mate I knew back in Perth modded an XR6 turbo extensively the first year they came out, got 350 + rwkw but with a flat unispiring engine. The thing made enormous torque, but didnt Rev. Was quick but not exactly the best drive. Dont get me wrong, I like the falcons, they look nice and all, I just dont think there worth the money they command. Its an undeniable fact that they are problematic. I work in the Mechanical and Panel industry and can see this first hand, what some falcon fans say on a public forum really means little. Go on any forum relating to a particular car and they will talk it up.
