  1. SOLD thanks to all the interest!!!
  2. Hey guys Ive had my Nitro RC buggy since december and have spent a small fortune on it, now im selling it for virtually nothing, Ive just bought a new Car and need the spare $$$$. Its a Kyosho Inferno TR-15 Readyset! Its got a brand New FORCE .18 Buggy Motor in it, goes like the wind!!! Great fun on jumps, scare the hell outta people on the streeet. Its got a High Torque Steering servo in it as well. Big $$$$ spent! Comes with Pistol grip controller, Fresh batteries, Fuel, new glow plug, easy to use starter - everything needed to GO!!! Its been tuned to perfection. Starts up everytime. Very Reliable. No leaks whatsoever. Best of all , compared to a Road car, these buggys are so easy to work on, everything is easy to reach, laid out simply. http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products/car_b...5resyset-e.html $320 bucks and its yours!!!!! Will consider a trade for a Headunit/Amp as well.
  3. Automatic. Simple fact is the price was CONSIDERABLY cheaper than a 5 speed. Not to mention, Autos are Easy to modify and can be for this car. MV automatics in SA - Stage 1.5 shift kit $400, 2800 stall converter - $300. Line pressure controller as well. People are running over 350 rwhp with this setup. If I did bust it, $2600 for a Full rebuild with upgraded clutches, kevlar belts, Stall of my choice. Thats almost the cost of a twin plate clutch. Check out IJZ-747 - the 10 second cressida, runs the above mentioned setup. Still on a stock Chaser IJZ bottom end too
  4. Point taken. Just saying that stock they aint anything special. Just like a skyline......
  5. 1998 Toyota JZX100 Chaser. 1JZ VVTi Single turbo. 208kw. 378 nm @2400 rpm.
  6. I got my Car Finally!!!! 1998 Toyota JZX100 CHASER!!! 1JZ VVTi Single Turbo. Its Completely standard, 63,000 kays on the clock. Ripe for the modifying, pearl white in colour. Ive always been a fan of the Toyotas, and I wanted something rare, so I bit the bullet and bought one finally. I am absolutely rapped with the car, its very luxurious inside and goes freakishly fast!!! Im so eager to start modifying it, Cant wait, Hopefully within the year Ill have her running 11s!!! Will post pics up soon!!!
  7. This is another stupid school yard argument get over it. Coupe this = dont forget boys, some of your cars are modified a fair bit, and you are racing practically stock cars. As been mentioned before Go race a vl turbo with boost, cooler exhaust pipes, injectors and an aftermarket ecu and see who's tailights you see also, xr6 turbo's and typhoons are devishly quick stock, and even moreso modified. Not starting an argument, just correcting, best mates got a VL turbo with a 700 roller, microtech, RB25 gearbox, injectors, rail, fuel pumps etc and he still never beat my mild mild modded 240 rwkw skyline. Quite a few mates have XR6 turbos as well, they get beaten by your average intercooler/pod/exhaust skyline as well. The Typhoon F6? Went in a brand newie the other day, performance, dissapointing considering how much it was talked up. GCar = I hardly care less if you're GTST can "smoke" me off at the lights in my unmodified commodore. Wow you beat a HSV... so what? Can your skyline carry 5 people comfortably? while towing a boat? People buy different cars for different things. My new car can comfortably carry 5 and tow a caravan if needed. It also weighs less than 1500 kgs.
  8. This sticker takes the cake.....
  9. Nah its not a RX7. I like em, but even stock ones are expensive and not to mention 90 percent of them are dodgy and on there last legs. Ive beeen to see a couple and havent been impressed. On the other hand a nice S7/8 SP/Bathurst would be awesome, but thats R34 GTR money where talking about and I know which car Id rather have. Its not a Rx2 either. braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppp.......flutter.
  10. hahahah INASNT - nah not even near what I spent on it, I got a decent market price. In other words the guy laughed off with a absolute BARGAIN!!! No its a not a VL or any other shit box like that. Evo 8 did someone say? I wish I could afford to buy one, but I hate borrowing money when not necessary! braaaap brappp brappp................have I let the cat outta the bag?
  11. shhhhhhhhh.
  12. After a year of owning my R33 I finally sold it, I dont know what made me do it, it was mostly the fact that there were so many around. It was sad to see it roll away down the street but im sure the new owner will be happy with it! The new beast will come soon, will put up pics when I get it
  13. still have this for sale?
  14. My customer Monaro Performance builds these cars for the calder days. They are not a V8 supercar, rather a SS commodore with exhaust, cage, race seats, harnesses, Motec logger, all the vinyls etc etc etc. Good ride nevertheless.
  15. 3000GTs. Always have been and always will be one of my Favourite Japanese sports cars. Most underated car around. So yeah they blow gearboxes, so do R32s and S13/14/15s but people still drive em. Ive always wanted one, probably will get one some day as well, just pure supercar looks. I test drove a 94 Model Twin turbo manual, and seriously I was blown away. Ive owned 3 12 second cars, and this 3000gt felt like it had so much grunt , yet was completely standard. Saying they are quick is a understatement. Handling wise, it was razor sharp, responsive, power came on so linearly all the way from down low right up to redline. Car journalists, mitsu haters and soforth have run this car into the ground in reviews and so forth. I cant understand why. In the US and europe, there are plenty of em that are modded and make monstrous power. Personally Id love a Black 98 model VR4, 20 Inch Work Deep dish, twin TD06-20G, Engine management and aftermarket gearbox. GTR destroyer.
  16. driftmunkee = your an ignorant tool. Get a f**kin VN why dont ya? Back to the question. A series II R33 is a better proposition to the series Is in some instances as the trim, body , engine and driveline are in better condition. R33s are said to be a common car (because people notice them) but they are a really well sorted out car, reliable and a good all rounder. An R34 is a also a great car, but you will be paying considerably more not only for costs, but insurance, maintenance etc and the fact that in the next few years they are probably going to be as common as R33s. BTW I have a Nice Modded Series II for sale!! Check it out - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=97034&hl=
  17. It was a pain in the Asss job to get the bolts underneath the plenum off. But all is well and its going strong.
  18. YOu can see the missing gasket and hear the air leakking out of it.
  19. Firstly, thanks to all the PMs of help people offered. Julzy on here offered to let me try his AFM today so I went over and tried it but it was not the problem. By then i had checked AFM, cooler pipes, bov, spark plugs, coils, fuel filter etc. Turns out the thick gasket between the Inlet runners and the plenum had blown out and was leaking. Nissan wants $60 bucks for a new gasket, Im relieved to find the problem though, so I should have it on the road again!!! Just putting a post up for any other guys with a mysterious idle problem!! Regards Kim
  20. where was it leaking from exactly and was it affecting ur idle? regards kim
