Just to let you guys know, the car has been fixed. It's running, driving all ok... I haven't been told what the issue was yet, he was just doing some final checkovers, idling was down, so just waiting till its all working to find out. I'll let you guys know what it is, for everyone else's future reference (in case its an issue no one has experience)

It's in the hands of the Auto-Electrician now, so I cant do anything atm. I'll keep that in mind mate. Appreciate it. No word from the Auto-Electrician at the moment... I'm just hoping the issue is not something super f**ked up.

Yeah checked that. All appeared to be fine Yeah gave that a bit of a go. Bit lost and confused really lol... See how the Auto-Electrician goes. Hopefully he find something silly that I've missed.

Hi Guys, Well we checked the AFM, didn't do shit. Got the code out of the ECU, I cant remember as my memory is shocking, but it was either one of the following P0120 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Malfunction P0121 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem Played round with a few other things relating to the code, but still nothing Anyway, ended up getting it tilt-trayed to the Auto-Electrician, as its sorta becoming beyond our knowledge of what it might be... f**k.

May sound like a stupid question, but I'm not in front of my car, and I don't know them all that well, but where do I locate the AFM? (yes I am car noob) Going to go check it out in about an hour... See if I can get any codes out or anything else...

Well, I'm not going to get a chance to do it tonight... We had our Mechanic friend come around and have a look, and they checked over everything, and fuel seems to be getting to the engine, and the pump is working fine, but it is something else. Either way, we'll try and see what codes (if any) we can extract from the car... I read another thread where the AFM had died? Anyone think this could be the case in mine? It seems like it's something stupid that died, because Dad got it started after putting fuel in, it was Mum who tried starting it later, then it wouldn't start... It's up on dad's hoist at the moment, so we can check it all out...

Nothing new as of yet.. Would it be worth trying to check the ECU Fault Codes for anything?

Ok tah. I'll suggest that to see if it may be a possibility in this case... Hopefully its nothing to serious, or tedious

Alright. Put power to the fuel pump and it worked fine... So, we are thinking it is something electronic. Asked if someone could tell us the location of the Fuel Pump Relay, save pulling the car apart... Or if anyone knows what maybe preventing power going to the Fuel pump and has inside info, that'd be great.. Thanks.

Yeah he is trying to bypass and give power to the Pump to test. Well it does not have an Aftermarket Immobilisers/Alarm that I am aware of... If it is the stock one, anyway around it ?

Nah, no more cranking lol... He is pretty good with cars, and was an Auto-Electrician by trade for a few years, but just hasn't dealt with some of the newer cars and doesn't want to f**k anything lol... Anyway, he said found the fuel pump, but it doesn't seem to be getting any power... He asked could there be some alarm stopping the Fuel Pump getting power? or if a Relay has died where he could locate it, or if any other info may be able to help us out... Big thanks...

I'm not 100% sure if he can hear it. Just speaking back and forth with him whilst he is playing round... He is just checking the fuel pump situation now, as he spoke to a mate who is a mechanic and plays on lots of Nissan Imports, and he suggested the Fuel Pump also. Thanks for the replies guys...

Ok, what could be the alarm? I'll make sure he doesn't keep cranking... Yeah, its on flat ground. I will see if he can add more fuel?

Hey folks. I had my Stagea out at my parents for the past few weeks. Recently the fuel got really low, light on and everyhting. Dad put five litres of fuel in to get it started and take it to fill it up, but the car wont start. He said it just cranks over and over, but won't actually start up. He suggested it may have sucked up some bad fuel, or a sensor is playing up or something, but I'm not exactly as I am at work still... Any ideas what to check to get this thing running again?

Well guys, Its been super short and sweet, but I am looking at selling this car... With our wedding coming up, some really imporant renovations/repairs needed on the house I can't keep this car... I'm really upset about having to consider this as an option to bail me out, but unfortunately its the only viable avenue. I've been super keen to get a Stagea for so long, and I finally get one, and finances ruin it for me.

Yeah, I nearly gave up on buying one. I never realised buying an M35 would be so much of a f**king hassle. And also THIS PLACE - Not a very professional setup at all... I'd recommend Northshore Prestige. Even though I didn't buy from them, they were keen to help me out... I bought mine from Japlink Motors. The guys there were pretty casual, and were quite helpful. I bought the car with two bald tyres, and got them replaced, they were more than happy to compensate the cost (even after me getting it done without their approval) They had nice cars in their getting worked on, so it sort of reassured me that they aren't some dodgy ass hobo group if they have customers trusting their cars in there... Anyway thats my 2 cents.

I bought an M35 250t RS Four... Nothing wrong with it, just I was prepared to pay what yours is in the first place. Its all good though
