Yeah, that's the one we looked at. Was a nice car and seemed fine, but yeah, I couldn't shake the uneasiness. Maybe I'm just super paranoid, or something lol...

Ah, thought I'd return for a late LOL. Didn't realise the thread got some more responses... Anyway, got a little story to tell... Sicne we got the car, it had this horrid smell in it. Smelt like the air freshener in Public Toilets. Was so over powering. Found a few air freshener doodads floating around the car. Decided to get the interior detailed, just get it tidied up a bit you know. Anyway, whilst they are doing the detailing the found 7 of these stinky pad things underneath the chairs. 2 under each front seat, and 3 under the back seat. I'm yet to pick the car up and see WTF they were, but yeah. Hopefully no more toilet smell... lol I got some questions to ask the Stagea Einstein's, but I can't remember them atm...

Congrats on the buy. Keen to see some pictures of it. Where did you end up buying it from? I was looking at an Axis, but ended up settling for a 250t RS Four. To many dodgy places scared me lol

You and most other Stagea owners are probably already aware of this, but I read a blog this morning on the M35 GTR Wagon, and apparently they can fully make one for a client for the $10,000 mark. With the amount of money I saved on buying my 250t instead of an Axis, I could actually afford it... It's a shame that money is better spent elsewhere lol.

I think I prefer the M35 series in general. Newer, a bit more stylish. Not only because I own one, but I'm the only one in the area that has one. (to my knowledge) The C34's are quite common around here, not quite like a Commonwhore, but they are seen daily. I still like the C34's, they have a unique shape to them, and the R34 front end conversions look the part. Performance wise, I cannot comment. Only driven a few M35's (Axis, 250t and ARX) all of them seemed the same to me.

Nah I just got an aftermarket Sony Headunit, and the Gauges above it. I'm just curious on pricing, and whether it would be worth doing it, or just making it nice with aftermarket gear.

Its funny seeing the other C34 Stagea owners snap their necks whilst driving to see this. As far as I know I'm the only M35 owner in town atm. I dunno whether to get springs, or hold off, and get airbags down the track. My driveway into the garage is not low car friendly. My LS400 struggled to get in, I've ground a fair bit of the concrete with her lol. Good shite. What aero bar? Pretty random and funny.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with the purchase. As for the rims, I dunno hey. I will have a close look later and see if there is anything. I'm happy with it. I would like to tidy the interior up a little bit, and I found that tutorial to change the LED's in the dash and console, I'd like to do that eventually (despite knowing f**k all about auto-electronics) Coming from a fan of VIP, I'd love to see this close to the ground as possible with some nice rims, wild offset, but for practicality reasons, I'm not sure I will venture that path... Also, is it known with these for the headlights to go yuck. As in they aren't clear and have a haziness appearance to them. It's not bad, but it just pisses me off. I know a few models of cars a notorious for it, might replace one day

Hey folks, So Saturday we ended up purchasing a Stagea... We checked out the Axis from All Imports, all seemed fine, but we decided against it. The whole situation seemed far to sketchy... So we cut our loses, saved some money, and got a 250t RS Four from (next door) Japlink Motors. The fact the complied their cars there, mechanics were there, etc. I felt a bit more confident buying from there. The interior needs a little love, but its nothing major. A good detail in and out and it would look at lot better. A got a few questions about replacing things, and questions in general, but I'm not sure exactly right now... I'll post some better pictures later on, but for now this will have to do.

Well. I didn't buy it. Got scared. Sone locals said to be careful. Also got in contact with an ex-employee from there. I bought another M35. Nothing special, but it was a lot cheaper and is pretty decent. Pics coming soon.

Ok. Just drove the car. Goes great no weird noises or anything suspicious. Will be cheling the papers and discussing all the relevant shit I mentioned when I go back there. Seems not to bad so far anyways.

Yeah, I didn't think of that. Idiot. Oh well not much I can do now. Righto. Well I'm not sure if I will be able to arrange a mechanical check whilst I'm down tomorrow. I'll just have a look at it, see what I think. I'll see whatever papers they have. I'll even tell them if I buy it I will be having it checked back at home, and whatever needs fixing etc. will be undertaken at their cost, or something... If not I'm happy to walk away and go to a more trusted dealer. If only I had a bit more to spend and buy one of the nice ones from Northshore Prestige.
