Yeah, I gathered the Bilsteins werent stock, i meant in the way that its still stock setup, not adjustable coilovers etc etc. I'll go have a brouse through all the pages and see what I can find, cheers

Had a look at my suspension after rumours that it can be lowered as a standard feature. I have a set on bilstein struts in there and they have grooves for the spring seat to be lowered. How exactly is this done? Is there a DIY thread for it that I cant seem to find? If not I may type one up with pics if and when I lower it. It seems like i can lower it about an extra 30mm. Should be enough to satisfy me.

So these things have a 68L tank? Im getting around 400 per tank, or a bit less depending on how spririted I drive it Also, contemplating a Power FC over an SAFC. Been told SAFC are ok, but not the best to do as it just messes with the true MAF/MAP reading. Take much to get a PFC tuned for economy and WOT power? Might have to also try this Boost98 {edit} just found they also sell a new one 'Premium 100'

I already have new Bilstien shocks front and rear, so I guess Im lucky in that respect, and fingers crossed if I ever need new ones I cn match the part numbers. But I'm thinking of new wheels and lowering it a bit. Have people figured out what is needed for the 260RS front and rear spring replacement? Thinking King Springs or Tein. Ie, body type/part numbers/and spring rates if needed seeing it is a wagon etc. Much appreciated

Hehe cheers guys. Yeah I took it for a drive to see what they were like and to contemplate an RS4, .... FAIL. Bought the bloody thing haha. Very happy with it though. As for the mod bug, im going to need some good aeroguard, I went crazy on my soarer modding nearly everything. So fingerscrossed I am sensible with this one, need it to be a reliable daily, not a project to be up on stands for 12 months haha

Hi everyone, I have been posting a little on here over the past week but thought I should formally introduce myself. I'm Ryan, just bought a nice Autech 260RS. Used to be owned by Ben & Janenen whom some if not all of you may know. Owned it now for a week and absolutely love it. My background is mainly Toyota, I still own a modified GZ20 Soarer with 1JZ swap and more mods than I can poke a stick at, but decided I wanted a nice daily, and hoping the modifying bug wont bite my bum to hard with this car I'm attending the All Japan Day at Glenelg this weekend, and also will make it out to the Stagea cruise/meet on the 7th of March. Looking forward to meeting you all. I'm down at West Beach and tend to lose to battle of fighting the urge to go for a random drive around hehe, so feel free to say hi etc etc. I think I was on here for about 3 days and already had a PM to sell me some parts haha, no complaining From what I've read so far in this Stag corner of SAU, you all seem really nice and hepful, and plan on spongeing info from many of you hehe. Plans for the 260? It has a 3" catback... and um... thats it I think lol. So more than likely I will weld up a set of front pipes, get an intake kit, and maybe a few other goodies here and there. Maybe in years to come as the engine tires I may rebuild it, and swap the twins for some GTRS items or maybe just steel wheel rebuild. Thats about it really I think. Anybody running the 'GTR front pipes' from JJR on a 260RS?? Was contemplating buying a set and tesing it out, and if it doesnt fit sell to a GTR owner. Or just modify myself. Bit of a trial and error I guess.

On another note, two nights in a row came across 'RRS-004'. He a regular on here too I take it?

Picked my 260RS up on Tuesday night. I had owned it for exactly one hour and the servo attendant said, "nice looking Subaru there, what model is it?" lmoa. I havnt had the Volvo comments yet, but in the week I've had it, 3 mates have looked and gone, "omg its a hearse, why did you buy a hearse?", I reply with, "cos it has an RB26 and full GTR driveline.... " "...oh, I see"
