  1. Happy with that reply,I am. Whilst I can appreciate the concern,is this sufficient info' to keep the powers that be happy? I'd like to see the shirts go ahead...
  2. I'm pretty much only good for every second weekend off, calculating from next weekend,of course...With enough(read:PLENTY)of notice,I'm good for almost any time.
  3. And there we have a good answer from Sin'+ a good suggestion from Trident! Thanks guys! Any more suggestions, you lot? At this point in time,it sounds like I'm Fyshwick bound!
  4. A bit of local voicing, experience wise, required here, lads and ladies. Most will send their turb's away to places like GCG etc for rebuilding etc,but I just need my two stockers checked before selling them off. Call me a nice guy who doesn't want to see the new buyer get anything other than a decent set of twins. It seems like they're in good condition, with minimal or no shaft play, but I'm no pro',so I'd like them checked over locally if poss'-easier to talk face-to-face,drop off + pick up,etc. One well known place I emailed outside of ACT said they wont do a written report-covering their butts, which is fair-but I just want the peace of mind that they're OK before eBaying/For Sale sectioning them off...So,who's used where around here? Pricing and quality of advice? Feel free to PM me with pricing or if you got crap service, rather than flaming the shop on the forums...
  5. Pull the proverbial finger out,you lot! E + D have gone to lengths to organise this(yay!),so the least you could do is pay up...
  6. Get on this one, crew;it's a good meet to show the car at! Pity mine wont be there this time,tho'...sob.
  7. I'm lovin' this thread...I keep baiting the hook, and the dumb minnow keeps taking the bait!
  8. How are we travelling for the 27th? Did everyone get to see E + D last Friday night?
  9. Ditto that...tho' the JB HiFi gals were pretty spesh'...
  10. Bad luck-you got more than your 2c worth;I'd say you got owned... Do all of us a favour and wrap yourself around a lightpole in anything other than a Skyline so it makes the news...we need another reason to laugh at you.
  11. Post my 'other' reply,THIS is what I agree with! Spot on,Leshy!
  12. Dear John, here's a straight answer, swigging from a can of VB whilst out on day release:"Ya tool! If ya need to ask, then ya not wanted, poofta!" Now,here's a non-straight answer:'Ooh,Johnny, you hard-as-a-rock rebel! I just love street racers;they're so...what's the term?Ah,yes:so 'fast and furious'! If you're into that sort of stuff, call me on 1800-B.L.O.M.E.... " And here's an answer from 'Somone'(as you actually asked for): "John,I was hanging out at the track watching guys and girls race, when this nice SAU fella said you were asking for 'Somone' to give you a straight answer. So here you go,then:...I really think you need to check your keyboard apptitude,as it's "Simone'(as in a name)or 'someone'(as in anyone, really).I worry that you can't string a sentence together and could also possibly own something as serious as a road going vehicle as well.I've read all you posts in other sections plus this inquiry into illegal street racing;it seems that you should be somewhere other than SAU,maybe asking about 9 inch diffs,Holleys and arguing about Holdens versus Fords.Good thing it's SummerNats time;you'll fit right in with the minority that make the majority of trouble. In short,be a good little boy and wake up to yourself. No one will condone such illegal stuff on a public forum viewed by all and sundry. If you have to ask,you should talk to any local idiot drying out in a gutter near Braddon.Natural selection may kick in and take you from the gene pool after then.Good luck finding a cell they'll pipe your music selection into..."Simone. Everyone else has had a go;I just had to post a response....So,do you think we'll hear from John again?!?
  13. PM sent!
  14. Lotsa little secrets!!
  15. 6.30 at Da Cellini's is the booking. See you all then! P.S. For those scrabbling for a good, safe parking spot, buzz me before you give up,K?
  16. Sorted! Seat organised:see you two at 6.30!
  17. And I'll vouch for Anthony's experience here;if you've seen his car, you'll know what I'm referring too-gorgeous job, mate! I've used Capital Transport Upholstery(Phil) in Hume for various jobs over the years;price was slightly higher than some quoted, and the workshop isn't flash, but the jobs were always top notch. Could be worth a look,JB.
  18. A couple of 'delayed' spotteds:A silver 33 GT-R with white rims and a nice exhaust note boosting it up Hindmarsh Drive from the lights on Melrose,New Years Day about 7.30ish in the eve:sounded HORN! A blue 34 GT-T on Gilmore Road Tuesday eve(I'm pretty sure it had white rims,too...),a gunmetal grey 32 GT-R coming out of Queanbo' on Wednesday night about 7.30 again, and a Bayside Blue 34 GT-R on Gilmore Raod last night sounding fierce;poss' Theo's old ride? Coming out of ESP,I'd imagine... All round,a good week for 'spottings'! And many more to come tonight in and around Braddon,I'd say!
  19. As per my annual routine,we'll be eating at the restaurant on the roundabout in the middle of Lonsdale St (Da Cellini's...)so we can kick back and enjoy the show. I've got one spare spot, seating wise(Leech, you get first dib's,as you posted up your interest first!);we'll be there from 6.30 with a mixed bag of SAU'ers,Ducati owners,a few V8 nuts and me + E:all good peeps...
  20. I've already paid up,so I'm right to rock. The rest of you that have put your hand up,but not yet paid, get on it tonight! As E said,we need to get this nailed down so we can play on the 27th...
  21. E + D,are you OK if we need to fill those two or three spots to get a few mates 'in'? Just puttin' it out there,y'know...
  22. C'mon, you lot:get on it! Emily and Daniel have done a lot to organise this:get the deposit payed, and sway your latte-drinking mates from SAU that are being a bit limp wristed!!
  23. May be able to help you re: GT-R injectors! PM me if you're interested...
  24. F**king idiot. Shouldn't drive for 10 years, and even then,a Toyota Prius is the extent of power that he should be allowed even then. Most people that have held the licences for many years have zero concept of how a car behaves, and the driver skills and reflexes required, above even 140 km/h. The amount of people that show up at the tracks I've been at with big hitters like Porksa,HSV's etc and can't get it together in a controlled environment;then we have to deal with GT4 heroes like this git... I should be happy that natural selection has taken place...but I worried another innocent person will be in the wrong place at the wrong time when some idiot lets fly.
