i need a new ecu temp sensor. does anyone know where to get one in adelaide? any wreckers to try or anyone wrecking a whole gtst? i would love to get this sorted out! it must have been weird coincidence that the engine nearly stalled with the guage one plugged in then stopped when i unplugged it? it nearly stalled with that guage sensor unplugged this morning. spewing because i just bought a new one thinking that was the problem... ah well. you win some you lose some. i'll try unplugging the other one tomorrow morning...

I am after an R32 GTS-T 2 door passenger side door (preferably black). I am after a front left quarter panel also (preferably in black). I want both to be in great condition. ie. no dents and little to no scratches. If you have either parts, please let me know and i live in West Beach and would prefer to pick them up if you live in SA. please PM me or reply to this post and i will set email notifications for this thread. i will usually reply within the hour. I don't think the paint is factory skyline black but it may be. i would bring my car when i come to pick up/view the items and we can see if the colour matches then. otherwise i'll look into re spraying them. thanks, Sam.

i bought it private? what dealer will deal with imports? i've rang and asked before and they said "is it an import?" and so they said we can't help... what difference does it make! i'll pay accordingly!

ok. thanks. i just can't work out why my temp gauge still works with the dud sensor? you'd think the gauge would be getting the same reading, right?that's why i thought it could be a problem with my ECU but i'll just buy a new sensor for now. thanks for your help.

i remembered that the temp only has a positive. it uses something elses as a negative so i unplugged the small plug with only 1 pin into the plug.

i have the same problem when it's cold. i've heard it's the computer spiking but i'm not exactly sure what that means. there's a popping sound and loss of power when it happens? it's not when my engine is cold but the temp outside. i think the cold air having more oxygen might be the problem. my theory with mine is that a sensor is not working properly like the sensor that is supposed to change the mixture in high altitudes? this excess of oxygen might be causing some fires to be a bit too rich or lean. mine doesn't hapen very often at the moment though but when it does, MAN is it a disappointing feeling...i'm not sure how to fix it man but when you find out i'd love a PM! cheers

lol. that made no sence typed that from my iphone and i was rushing i had seen a temp gauge plug before on a kawasaki motorbike so i worked out which one. un plugged it and it stopped the problem! thank you so much! what does this mean? i need to get the actual thermometer replaced? or the ECU is doing something odd with the temp info?

There are two plug. On this hose just before it goes into the block. Which one or both should I unplug?

Ok, my ECU is just left of the passengers feet, right? How will I know which to unplug? Sorry. Is it labelled? Or do I need to look it up? Edit: ok, just realised you said on my top radiator hose thanks I'll try it now would this be why it needs me to tap the acceleratora bit to start too?

Every morning when i start my car (or when it's sat for long enough to get pretty cold) my engine won't idle properly. When i start it it idles fine. but if it ran for a few minutes and then i gave it a rev to 3000 and then took my foot straight off the accelerator, the revs would drop and then die right down to maybe, half my idle speed or less. i have to give it a bit of throttle to keep it running. once the car is warm it's absolutely fine. it also won't start when cold without a bit of throttle. is this normal for a fuel injected engine? i can film it if anyone wants to see what i mean.

ok, here goes Car is an R32 GTS-T. every time i turn my ignition to on, my HICAS light is off. i drive and after about 10 minutes every drive the light comes on solid. before the light comes on, as i approach 80 K's i feel my hicas go full lock one way (i know full lock for hicas is a degree or 2) my steering wheel sort of naturally turns right about 5 degrees to keep me going straight. it is about 75 k's an hour this happens. as soon as the hicas light comes on, it stops happening. in order to turn my hicas light off i turn my ignition off and then turn it back on. i get another 10 minutes or so before the light comes on again... my theory, the previous owner installed an after market steering wheel and for some reason went back to the original wheel for the sale. i have heard there is a HICAS steering angle sensor somewhere on the steering column. if anyone could tell me where please do) i assume the sensor is sensing my steering wheel turning (while it's actually straight) because it was replaced wrong. i then guess, HICAS is designed to realise that the driver is probably not doing circles in the same direction for 10 minutes and the light comes on and it disables telling you it thinks there's a problem. could this have anything to do with a leak in the rear cradle somewhere also? because it got very very low on power steering fluid last week (hadn't checked power steering fluid in over 6 months lol) so i topped it up. please help me out! cheers sorry it's so long. tried to give as much info as possible. please bump this because i really want my HICAS to operate properly so i need this read by many!

anyone in adelaide have the glowing rear skyline writing? i'd love to see some pictures of it... i saw a 32 GTS-T in blackwood just near hungry jacks. the writing said skyline and looked different to normal! thought it might be the green glowing stuff but i waited for anyone to come to the car. just wanted to see when they turned their lights on! waited 5 minutes or so and no one came. didn't want to scare anyone! pics would be awesome!

well, hearing how many people do theirs at 5000 i'm starting to get worried i've done about 7,500 since i bought the car. it reads top right of my wind screen that it was serviced at 115000 k's and that was a good 6 months ago now... done about 122,000 i think. i'll get onto it in the next week or so. maybe just a full service... could anyone PM me and tell me what gets done at a service? is it just oil? or are plugs changed? and oil filter? and what else?

Hi, i'm after a new R32 GTS-T front bumper. my car is black so black would be preferable. as you can see in the pictures, there are cracks and chips in mine and it bugs me. . . I would be happy to pick it up if it's in not too far from west beach SA. (within an hours drive depending on your price) Also, Anyone know where to replace perished rubber seals and Metal strips along the top of the door (just below window) it's a 2 door GTS-T. thanks PM me or reply here cheers

The concrete in this makes it awesome! going from a very boringly coloured grey to this 'sun set' looking scene is amazing! i would love some sweet photos of my car but i've damaged it all down the left... would love some pictures once it's fixed though!

I doubt it was misfiring man. He's just had everything forged and putting out 235 at the REARS under tuner warranty... Really doubt it would have problems...
