  1. I am after an r32 gtst front spoiler system. As far as I'm aware, no one wants them so if I can pick one up cheap I want to have a look at one. I just love all things 32 and I am missing mine because I have a front mount. Pm me your price.
  2. What would you sell the front spoiler system for? I haven't got heaps of cash to spare but keen to see one. Pm me if you've still got it.I live in sa.
  3. i'd be keen to check it out! would you sell it? i want to plug it in to mine and see it work. R32's are SO ahead of their time!
  4. I have those buttons! but i've got a front mount so i know the actual unit is gone... i've taken a picture of the buttons in the R32 and a massive plug down near the front bar that i am assuming is for the spoiler's massive motor.
  5. i may have worded it bad but yes, that is correct. as a result of a plumb back system, the air that get's recirculated through the turbo, some of that gets back into the intake. the ecu expects this so if you block your blow off valve you get loud pops when you decelerate. the ecu still compensates for the non existent excess oxygen and to stop this you would get a tune. i rushed my wording before but i still stand by this statement.
  6. nah happy to leave it like it is lol wouldn't want to compromise anything for a silly pop! and to the other guy, you seem like a massive dick. We all make mistakes. I know I'm still learning. I'm 17.
  7. that sounds logical. i just didn't understand! how do i delete a thread once it's no longer needed?
  8. i am addicted to trying to get loud pops and cracks from my RB20. the very light tapping of the accelarator whilst decelerating is a lot of fun. it's fun to try to scare people walking along the foot path with a massive (flame, or possibly just a black cloud and loud bang) am i alone here? anyway, from what i can see, my blow off valve has a thin hose running back into the intake. when ever you decelerate the ecu dumps fuel in to compensate for the extra oxygen from the blow off valve. if i unplug this will it cause any other problems than loud pops at the time you let off the accelerator? any opinions would be sweet!
  9. My fuel level sender is stuffed. i have had it out of the tank and moved the pin around on the circuit board and it will never read below half full. the gauge is fine. if you have a stuffed fuel pump and sender unit out in the shed PLEASE let me know. i only need the sender so if you only have a sender (unlikely) that would be awesome!
  10. i just think it's something awesome that comes with performance engines and mine doesn't...
  11. what do the tac welds do?
  12. i can see a cat. but the mate with the gtr thinks it's been gutted. obviously not if i can't flame it up? also, his has a cat!
  13. ok, i have an R32 GTS-T and a full 3 inch exhaust with a cannon. i have seen my mates GT-R make meter long flames and just wondering why mine doesn't? i know it's to do with unburnt fuel and a hot exhaust igniting it, and mine makes some fery loud pops! but i've just never been able to get a flame! i have had mates repeatedly rev it to see... some pops are really loud cracks and some are deep thuds. anyone know anything about this?
  14. i'm pretty sure mine is a stock gtst pump and i can hear it... it's actually fairly loud. but who knows, i was told mine was very stock, only to find out my 32 gtst has an r33 turbo, hks actuator, full 3 inch exhaust and stainless steel twin pipe dump. also a hks front mount (knew it had a front mount obviously just not hks) so it could be a GT-R pump...
  15. yes it is. Mitsubishi make GARRETT i believe and it's effectively a garrett blow off valve on them from factory. the mitsubishi blow off valve is factory is what i was told...
  16. yeah, it was a fluke. someone has offered me a 2 pin sensor off of an rb20 that's sitting in their shed. would you still think not? he's offering $30 posted and i could buy a brand new one for $89 so i think i'll buy the $30 one. hopefully it works
  17. OHH and another thing to expect is that the rear passengers window surrounds will most likely have the covering peeling off. it looks very ugly but it happens to all 32's. the glue that holds the material down surrounding the rear windows just becomes unstuck. mine's had it badly and my mates gtr has too. i've heard it's VERY common.
  18. another thing i'd ask is how long they've had it. (they might lie but also might not) if they've had it for a year (unlikely but there's a 32 gtr in sa that's been for sale for a couple of years) then you know the price is too high or it could have problems. if it has been there for a short ammount of time then it might be a bargain! it looks nice though. and i hope all goes very well. good luck
  19. A very stock looking r32 GTS-T parked in the duck inn hotel in coromandel valley. Grey with gts-t badging. Not lowered but my god 32's are so beautiful! The only way to make them ugly is by putting a fully sick body kit on one! Any other 32 looks good
  20. the first few revs while it's warming up you should expect it to spit out water and black sooty stuff out the exhaust. this is condensation removing carbon in the catalytic converter and spitting it on the ground. i would also ease up to pinning the throttle and backing off. (ie. don't start it, let it idle till it's warm and then pin it to 6000. i'd make the first few to 3000 and then move up a bit.
  21. i don't know specifically to do with gtr's what the first thing you should check is but the things i looked for on my car is: (not sure how much you know so i'll tell you basics) are the K's Genuine? look up an R32 GTR Vspec 2 and see what sort of dash instruments they come with (i think it's a NISMO 320 kph speedo and all other gauges match on the cluster) if this is right check that all the numbers in the odometer are perfectly in line) provided these are right the K's would appear genuine. i would get your eye along the sides of the car both sides and see the crease that runs the length of the car have no kinks and things (could have been in a bad accident) lift up the carpet in the boot and see if there are any abnormal welds from a repair from a rear end collision. look under the car and see if the body is straight (no kinks or anything) get a mate to stand behind the car while it's running and warm and rev it pretty hard (5-6000 rpm and back off the throttle suddenly) (make sure it's warm) so floor it till 5000 and back off (repeat numerous times) and see if there is any smoke. Blue is burning oil and might mean the piston rings are going. white is burning antifreeze so coolant is somehow getting into the engine cylinder and burning. black is unburnt fuel (black is quite normal and safe. might need a bit of a tune (you may get small flames if this is the case which is AWESOME if you ask me ) hope any of these ideas help. also, make sure you take it for a few good test drives before buying.
  22. ladies and gentleman, this rock is not stock at all... Just found this pic on google images and it made me laugh I suppose you could say that there is nothing factory about this car what so ever! except maybe the little nuts that hold the wheels on This car literally rocks...
  23. power doesn't feel different after clicking up and down? boost controllers can come in very different shapes and sizes. i would take a picture of it. you'll have a better chance of someone having a good guess...
  24. i need a new ECU temp sensor. if you have one, know someone that has one, know where i can get one (from a wrecker or anything) in adelaide... please tell me! PM me OR reply here. i have marked Enable email notification of replies and i get them within 15 minutes to my phone...
