You are right it was the silver pressure plate, and I should correct myself and say that I have installed numerous cushion buttons WITH the silver pressure plate. I assume a lot of you guys got the one with the pink pressure plate? I haven't heard of any of the silver ones failing so far.

Lurch's towing has towed mine twice at $99 a pop. Once was just a 20km trip, the other time was from the western suburbs to the east.

Confirmation bias, I've installed more than I can count and all of them have been fantastic with zero issue. Why? Mine held 370kw launches all day every day.

Dis ^ I've replaced the two sealed bearings in my 34 CAS. I couldn't give you the part number though sorry. I got the bearings from http://bearingwholesalers.com.au/ these guys though. -
Pretty sure they just make you return and do it again at a later time (after you get an exhaust that passes) Limit is 90dB

I think my GTST was 1dB under legal limit.. and GTRs don't pass with their standard exhausts.. Crazy that :\
