Mate you don't know me. Don't make assumptions based on text you see on a webpage or the fact I'm on my Ps. The most trouble I get in to is not changing the power saving settings on a windows 7 virtual machine, so don't go calling me trouble when I'm far from that. The car's been sitting at home and is running ten times better than it was before I bought it. It's going to get a full detail as soon as I'm actually at home and not at the office. I drive it around the block or up to the shops every couple days to keep the brand new battery from going flat. It has 95% tread on unraped, hardly driven tyres. Only thing I've done to it is change the spark plugs which I didn't even do myself. I got it done at Unigroup Engineering when they dynoed the thing, and it stopped it's power loss at high rpm. The car then ran from 1000rpm to 7000rpm without a splutter and pulled a 152kw atrw. The guy at unigroup even told me I got a good car for the price ($7,000). I'll send you a PM with my phone number. Give me a call, have a chat, organize a time to come have a look at the car, and then make your decision.

Try being a P-Plater. I've loved Skylines since I was 10/11 years old, so I decided I'd fork out the dosh for a non-turbo R33 Skyline. I get pretty much the same thing. Except worst... "Non turbo ay? Why didn't you jsut buy the turbo? You know you get *insert upgraded components*" "Yes, I know, I'm not a f**king idiot. Look at whats sticking out to the left of my plates.." "*insert random jabbering* haha you drive a non-turbo what a waste of money would have been better off buying a turbo *insert more insults*" I got sick of the constant flack from everyone. So I bought a turbo skyline with the intentions to leave it at home and build it up to the car I've always wanted. "WHy didn't you buy a GTR? GTSTs are shit rah rah rah R32s are shit rah rah rah R34.. now thats a real car... rah rah rah" Sooooooo I'm selling both my skylines and I'm going to drive an excel. You know what's even more annoying..? "Oh you drive a shitty like excel." Even worst is my girlfriend "The excel is a piece of shit" Mmmm... enjoy your massive loan sweety. Edit: In re: to douchebag-driven aussie fuel guzzlers. Friend was driving his R33 with over 270kwartw. "supercharged" v8 commonwhore guns it to show off... friend flew up behind him not even trying. Having good chuckles that this guy was trying to lose us and we're there easing up behind him using half his fuel Even better is my friend who has a commonwhore and tried to show off etc. He goes driving with me, and we were in a massive rush so I was getting there as soon as possible (our jobs could have been on the line if i didn't). So I'm going through backstreets and finally get there. First comment? "I couldn't have taken those corners like that in my commodore..." Then we decided we'd race. Dead flat, empty road with cars monitoring traffic (well lack-there-of) out in the sticks; nice and safeish. No trees / power lines around, just flat property (no fences). Race to 120. Guess who won ;] Also, I never get pulled over any more in my silver R33 It's bone stock, and looks clean. I'm often in my office attire when I drive, so cops are just like eh and drive off.

http://epicxtc.com/img/myr32/ Has stock rims. I mentioned the previous owner so you understand where the kms come from. I mentioned I'm on my Ps because that's my motive for selling. I realize that I've got a horrible reputation being a P-Plater driver because that P on the back must indicate that I don't know how to control my car, right? They don't give those Ps to sensible drivers, only the hoons in jap imports or commonwhores speeding into power poles. It's not like those P-Platers do anything good with their life... Hey man, that guys a pro drifter. Car must be impeccable.

SKITTLES replied to SKITTLES's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Still up. Looking for around 11500 it's got rego till feb next year. -
Black R32, $7k flat. All stock, it's got a pod filter done by previous owner but i've got the original air box. 227,000KM... the previous owner drove from Greenacre to the city and back. Got dynoed, is mechanically sound. 152kw atw at 12psi boost. Bought it to modify it, but my boss raged at me for buying it whilst on my Ps, as well as a couple others, so I'm going to sell it if someone wants it.

I know a lot of people like this. They don't know how to control a freaking FWD car, how can they expect to drive a RWD in the wet? Or even an AWD. TBH we need better driver training. And to put people in 300kw cars going sideways down a public road at 110km/h+. That straightened out my driving, I'm much less inclined to do stupid shit after experiencing that. End of the day, who are people going to listen to? The person carrying on about how much of a f**kwit we're all being or the people saying nice things about what we drive now and are positively assisting us? Case in point... Random SAU member: "Why am I not suprised you wrote this. FFS grow the f**k up and obey the law. Your "Woah is me attitude" gives 99% of the people on here the shits P.s I guarentee 90% of the cops out there know the difference between the turbo and non turbo models....a) because all the have to do is run the rego plates and its right there infront of them. B) they are all trained in vehicle identification so they know what to look for if there has been a robbery/hit and run etc" Random person I met at paintball: "Mate, you've got a nice 33, why would you want to sell something so clean? Just change the exhaust and suspension and you'll have a perfect ride right there." Who do you think I'd listen to? I'm much more inclined to listen to the positively speaking people than the negative ones. And yes, I'm a p-plater. 18 years old. Also, kids will be kids. You were all at our point once in your life. Difference is, most of you could drive turbos.

R34 station wagons make me lol. We need a R34 GTR Station Wagon.. we've got heaps of 4door gtrs

Appreciate it man, but I've had my eyes set on a R32 for a decade now. Driven a fair few, and I've just fallen in love ay. Other than that, I don't deserve a car like that, I couldn't treat her the way it should. To me, that's a collectors car, not a drift pig, and I want the drift pig. I hope the next owner can appreciate what that car is.

This. Out of a complete tank I'd get 520+. Out of general just filling up, I'd fill up every 480km.

Let's talk about the soldier that decided to desert his dessert in the desert.

Welcome Sherry Hope to see you at the cruises.

Not trying anything here, but a girl in a GTR = hawt. If my girlfriend drove a GTR, I'd marry her the moment the rego went into her name. But as a general thing, I don't get people being idiots. It's actually quite the opposite. I have a lot of people take of REALLY slowly at lights so they don't G me up for a race or something like that. I've been having a lulz at it, telling friends "they're taking off slower than the green p-plater hoon in a skyline so they can sit back and bitch about how bad of a driver I am". Even though I'm shifting at 2500 and taking it chill. My opinion of an idiot on the road is someone who's putting other peoples life directly at risk. Ripping a burnout or trying to drift in an industrial area on a weekend or at night isn't too bad when you've got friends all around you managing the pedestrians, but turning your headlights off at night and almost forcing a car off the road is being a total f**king wank. And Skyline drivers don't general attract wankers. Infact, in Sydney, I've met plenty of extremely enthusiastic and friendly Skyline drivers. It's commodore drivers that have been giving me the shits recently.

R33 Misfire/backfire/not Running That Sweet
SKITTLES replied to HEAPHO's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I've got a non-turbo R33 doing a similar that. It's backfiring, causing loss of power. Suggestions given by friends: timing chain and injectors. If my Consult cable would hurry the f**k up and arrive, I'd probably be able to read out the errors but NOOOO dealextreme is taking forever -
I really find it helps with things. Thanks mate, I'll have a look at all the hoses when I can.
-
I have to same problem in my R33. I'll be watching this thread enthusiastically. What fuel are you using? I was using a 98 with ethanol for 6 months before realizing it had ethanol in it... so I switched to v-power and it's not as bad. It gets worst when the air cons on, and it drinks the fuel like crazy with the aircon on.

I drive her to work. She sits in the staff carpark from 8:30am till 5-6pm. I get back in her. Drive to see my girlfriend. Drive home at like 10:30pm. One of the cleanest R33s Some pics my gf took Random we took on a drive into blacktown A couple shots I took when I first got it on the 10th June 2010, it's pretty much the same. I'll get some updated pics tomorrow. Chilling with my car at a cruise hahaha I love this shot. Reason for selling: I rushed into the purchase and got a loan I couldn't properly afford. I'm now in more debt than I can keep up with, so the car has to go. I'm not going to push the sale onto you... just ring me, organize a test drive, lemme know what you think: 0478 102 060 http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=9923899

I'm looking at buying a car, and need to know a place to get it checked over properly. I need someone who knows skylines. I want to get the engine and turbo checked, as well as the structural integrity of the car. Also looking for a good place to dyno my car. Hopefully this can get a sticky, or at least be in the first post on the "read first" sticky, because I'm sure this is on a few peoples mind. Edit: I'm in the Sydney region, near Parramatta.
