Further noting, it's on the drivers side of the gearbox, there's a medium, square rubber grommet... just pull it out on one side and move it out of the way. I sprayed some WD40 in and it fixed it.. but give it a week and it'll come back.. What part in particular am I supposed to lube?? What should I be straining to look for? I can only really see a black single bolt.

May I ask why you want a snorkel on your car?

That's one killer slope you have on your drive way, do you scrape every time you drive out of it? -
CLASSICCC!!!! Tell your wife she did a good job

Thanks Hugh. I haven't had a chance to do it recently, and I went to do it the other night and it wouldn't make the sound (it's a bit hard to work out where the sounds coming from when the sound isn't being made ) If I get home by a reasonable hour tonight, I'll have a look... For future Googlers

Custom Glass Carbon Fibre R33 Projector Headlights Group Buy!
SKITTLES replied to PM-R33's topic in Group Buys
Just letting you know I'm +1 for this if the price is okay. The prices you're estimating.. is that for a set of headlights? -
$450 with JustCar is really good. Their excess for an 18 year old in an imported R33 GTS was $1400 though.. remember to check the excess!

AANNNDDD They sound like shit. My mate just bought one, decent quality apparently, and I'm just like urgh. I've raped the shit out of my 12" clarion and it still sounds better than his. He turns it up, and you can hear it distort majorly (this is on the day he bought it, too). Where-as mines 6 months old, and still has better quality. From a logistics POV it's not bad, however if you want quality, go a normal size. I've got a 12" clarion in a 10" sub box. To bolt it down, I put some pine wood under the carpet and screwed it in. nice and ghetto. I'll get things fibreglassed when I have the dosh, but it's holding great atm. I didn't feel a different in weight. These are 6 cyl cars which weigh around 1.4tonnes, a 5-10kg sub, box and amp isn't going to make a great difference. > and not having a box mounted is a disaster waiting to happen, dents or it turns into a missle in a accident ? That, and it'll damage your cables. >> Edit2 Also, just noticed you've got a GTR. dfw about weight. Go get a professional to carbon fibre or fibreglass a box in the boot for you. It's a beautiful car you've got, please don't do dodgy home jobs.

What's The Point Of Having A Horn
SKITTLES replied to Bizkit's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Man, I can't stand retards who get narky over car accidents. I've only had one at-fault accident and I at least had the common courtesy to pay for all damage caused out of my own pocket. I was a passenger when my girlfriend crashed her car, and the person she hit came out and started abusing the shit of my gf. f**k I lost it at her, i can't remember much but I remember the words "arrogant...bitch...f**k off" Luckily it didn't make it to the police report >.> Anyways, it's just common courtesy to acknowledge when you're in the wrong. Some people are just disrespectful little shits... like the people who don't thank you when you let them in front in traffic. Sorry if this has been asked, what nationality was the driver and what type of 4x4? -
Getting A Skyline Key Remade
SKITTLES replied to SKITTLES's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
$100/weekend, 2000 rounds. I own all my own gear and work at the field I play on. Are they going to have to change the locks? Can you recommend anyone in particular? -
Friday Night Cruise - 12 November - Springwood Lookout
SKITTLES replied to miss_skyline's topic in Events Archive
That was f**king harsh dude, it's wonderful that the cops decided it wasn't worth their time. Glad to know some people care, right? Those guys would have shat themselves when three skylines and a 200sx rolled up to support you though. Epic night! Was an EPIC introduction to these cruises!!!! Joel, I BADLY want to see those photos you took!!! -
I only got one key for my car when I purchased it and I haven't had the chance to get a key done. Plus my bank account has been in the negatives in preparation for the Super 7s Masters tournament.. That said, I only have one key, and I ended up loosing it at paintball yesterday. Does anyone know where I can get a skyline key cut for me if I don't have the original key? Also, what sort of price will i be looking at?

Projector Headlights Adjustment?
SKITTLES replied to starscream_r32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Not sure about your particular model, but pop the bonnet and check to see if there are screws to the outer-part of the headlights inside the engine bay. I know my cars in the past have had a screw which you just twist to adjust the light. -
All You Young P Plater Skyline Owners..

Nothing wrong with that. My mum paid for my first car, I really appreciated it because I was in school, no job, and couldn't afford a car. No I pay for everything but my insurance. +1 to only being worth 10k. I called Youi because I heard they were a pretty reasonable insurance company. They wouldn't insure my GTS25 R33.. so I was like eh f**k ya'll and went to JustCar. It's only third party, like geez I had more chance crashing in my Excel than my Skyline. -

I'm impressed you can be so calm right now. I'd be in tears if that happened to my $11,000 GTS, but your $130,000 GTR with mods... far out mate. One of the most tragic stories I've heard all year; such a major loss I'm really sorry to hear this. Who was the company, by the way? I'd like to avoid them when transporting my mums car back to Queensland.

Tempted to ring Shannons to see if they give me insurance. Maybe next year. "So why would you consider yourself a motoring enthusiast?" "So why did you take the job you're in if you have such an ugly voice?" Say to anyone, wait for reaction. Best part is, they generally have to remain polite xD -
Now that's my kind of interior. Clean and stock. None of this.. No pointless tachos/dials/guages And no annoying colors.. Just pure, factory perfection. And that gear-stick is orgasmic, iunno I've got a thing for stock and sensible. As for debate about low-down power. My NA RB25DE has shit low-down power, fun doesn't start till >4k RPM, but when you're racing someone, you're rarely under 4k.

My excess was $1450 so I decided I'd just pay the $1200 repair job. If making a claim is anything like getting insurance, expect a 40minute conversation with the operator about your car, his car, and all the mods you've done, doing and plan to do. <3ed JustCars customer support.
