rb and vq are similar/indentical on interals but outside not so much, bell housing is different and im sure the vg box is remote shifted. Id stick to a 25 box. Im all for something different but you wont get anywhere in the vk cos the suspension and brakes are just too old.

im lost rb30de or det? turbo? i would be focusing on suspension and brakes.. and if u plan on chasing any sort of power ditch the rb30e 5spd. i ran one in my cef daily or 6 months and was always in fear of killing it.

can u still run the back seat with this one?
