  1. so your going to sticky tape twin turbos onto a RB25?
  2. how did you clean it? I used a 3000psi aquablaster, toilet brush, and lost of detergent.... Please tell me you did the final wash properly....!
  3. Hi everyone. I have a perfect working Q45 AFM with the screen still intact. I ran 320rwkw without a sweat on it. Has plenty more to go. Yes, this is a real Q45 - I'm a tuner and can guarantee no problems. It will come with a plug, and if you need, a stainless attachment to fit a 4inch POD on the back of it as seen in the pics. Pics are attached. $140 plus post (postage will be about $12)
  4. Now this post owns the OP right across the nut sack and curve balled into the ass. Sideways. Well done.
  5. Search the forum for rich and retard. Don't be lazy.
  6. That's not how it works hey. You'll find if you bring the turbo back to an amount of boost where it is at its best efficiency, it will lose very little horsepower, and might even gain some. Also, a "big" inter-cooler certainly does not counteract the effects of the turbo super heating the air due to inefficiency. You really need to read up on how they actually work. There are a lot of people out there that think boost is actually good.... Boost is bad.. Flow is good..
  7. You'll be eating those words when the super heated air caused by running the turbo beyond its efficiency range causes the engine to detonate and blows the ring lands off most of your pistons.
  8. Did you ever consider that the turbo might not be setup for that kind of boost?
  9. Definitely need an air temp sensor wired in
  10. Redlining is good, it makes sure the internals loosen up and don't get tight. If they get tight you'll lose power.
  11. Just out tuning Leon's car... The rear passenger side rim EXPLODED. Out of nowhere... We're just cruising along at 100kmph and bang. Cal, pics on my Facebook.
  12. It's fulleh sic bro, I bounce that limiter as much as I bounce those bitchez on my shaft. Make a bracket up to mount a few steaks and snags near your exhaust. You could have your own portable BBQ
  13. Oh dear. If you can't tell the difference between foot pounds and nm you're screwed. Id get someone else to assemble... Also, there is a special tool that you use to file rings. How the hell did you do it?
  14. I let some fuel sit in my tank for over 12 months, no issues. lol @ paranoid..
  15. I've got a pair of HKS 2530s here with stuff all kms on them, rear housings have been HPC'd
  16. there are lots of very informative threads already explaining this. So don't be offended if your thread gets locked..
  17. Ok so I missed a few because I wasnt interested in putting too much effort into a thread about these dick stroking monsta turbos and the rest. Go and eat some ass.
  18. Amen Now they can /thread
  19. Garrett, hks, kando, Borg Warner or hypergear. Anything else means you're a tard and should sell your car and buy a hyundai excel. The thread should now end and be closed.
  20. I'd start with new plugs and a compression test during the change
  21. And my restrictors are only 1.3mm Sorry to hear its not working.
  22. well, it was good enough Pretty happy with the end result too, engine was my own build and runs like a dream. Shame some else is enjoying it now. Don't worry Ben, I spent years chasing the perfect tune. How you been?
  23. Looks good Callan. My mate took that engine I built - The RB25\30 with a few special mods, with my turbo, modified manifolds, etc to EFI in brisbane and put it on the dyno. 300rwkw and 680nm of torque. EFI tuner said the tune was perfect I don't mind doing the Vipecs, they are well featured. The knock monitor and addition kits are a bit complicated to set up though.
  24. Good post twinky. Fuel pump might e stuffed or a stuffed regulator or blockage somewhere. Fuel starvation causing lack of power, also explains the detonation up top.
