  1. Just realised that if the lights are off and you flick the fog light switch, both halos and LEDs come on.
  2. Alright... now that explains why i couldn't find the fog lights in the new headlights when I was looking for them. So it looks like they have incorporated the fogs into the LEDs
  3. When you say the inner light stalk switch, do you mean the fog light switch?
  4. Yes, you just need to cut the green wire with red strip that connects to the indicators. Thanks to Nightcrawler for this tip.
  5. New headlights are in! They look amazing. Only complains are that the LED strip is not bright enough and you can't actually see them from an angle and the H1 high beams that came with the lights are rubbish.
  6. Thanks Andrew! Also, are D2R bulbs suitable for the new lights? It makes me confused cuz housing says "D2R" but its a projector lens
  7. I'm trying to convert the dual filament bulb to single filament bulb. Do you know which wire I should remove/cut? There are 3 wires connecting to the bulb - 2 green and 1 black.
  8. Thanks Keith for organising this meet. Good food, good people, cool cars and some fun after It was a great night!
  9. Lol. Reminds me of this guy at work few years ago who told me his prelude has a 4 cylinder V2 engine.
  10. Yeap. Took me 4 months to find a top condition 6mt and I remember over that period there were only 6 on carsales.
  11. Series 1 V35 manuals cost more than auto when bought new, both in the US and Japan.
  12. hey Damian, are your low beam bulbs D2S or D2R? I haven't got mine fittet yet but my V35 is a series 1 with D2R bulbs and I'm a bit concern if they would fit ok in the projector lens of the new headlights.
  13. +1 for next friday. I would have my car back by then and be able to attend! Been awhile...
  14. Chrome wheels on a V35 = massive fail.
  15. yeah...can't be $140 would it? I got him to install an FM expander and it only costs $60 including parts. I think those guys will take less than an hour to do the headlights since they are just plug and play.
  16. hmm...$140 just to install the lights is quite steep...
  17. The thing is the V35 coupe has a very unique shape and lines, that's why it's hard for aftermarket bodykit makers to get their designs right. Add to the fact that this car was designed mainly for the American market, hence any Jap style aero bits would not look right on the V35.
  18. ^ Exactly my thoughts too. Have the CCFL or LED as daytime running lights, depending on which is brighter. But still have no clue how to go about this. Any idea?
  19. Whatever body kit you get, please don't get the GTR lookalike front bar...
  20. Same thoughts. The V35 front end looks ugly if you look at it dead straight from the from but looks alright from an angle.
  21. What's the tyre size?
  22. Don't know what brand of tape player adapter you guys had but mine sounds great. I have tried FM transmitter and they were no where near the sound quality of the tape adapter.. Maybe your tape player just needed a clean?
  23. From my count (based on replies from previous posts), we have got 12 confirmed payments already. Not sure why Jesse is still waiting for one? All payments should have now gone through..
  24. interfooler (myself) and mayo85 are now paid come on guys get onto it!
  25. White Ferrari 458 Italia on the way back to Melbourne from Phillip Island yesterday. Looks amazing in white..
