  1. You might be interested to look at the 350z HR Y pipe. There is a review here
  2. Would this fit a V35 coupe? Is it going to be a direct fit? I heard that the 350z suspension in a V35 would lower the front but raise the rear a little. That is because of the stiffer spring rates, and with less weigh at the back, there is less compression of the springs, hence the raise. Is this true?
  3. I moved out December last year and until now havent got my bond back. I rang up the tenancies department 2 weeks ago to find out what's going on and they told me the lazy bastard property manager hasn't submitted any request to release the bond yet! And mind you I have been harrassing the property manager almost everyweek for the past 6 months. So I told the department that and they sent me the form I filled it up and sent it back. Then they sent notification to the real estate company and if they don't get a reply back within 9 days then the bond will be released regardless. So I hope to get back my bond within the next week or so. If you can't haggle the bond out of the real estate you got to ring the department and request it yourself. DO NOT rely on property managers as they won't give a f**K!!!
  4. Jzz what happened to that Lexus?
  5. Funny the Liberty in the pic has been photoshopped with the quad round lights lol
  6. Hmm.. yes you have a point there. I agree if we take a late model V36 for example. If someone bought his V36 a year prior to Nissan bringing in Infiniti, then yes the value of the imported V36 will drop when Infiniti comes to Australia because an Australian delivered model is available. But the arrival of Infiniti will make previous Vs more desirable (hopefully) like the V35. People will start taking notice of Infiniti and the V range (again hopefully)... so I think this will somehow make the V35s hold its value a bit better.
  7. Good news for current V owners as this means our cars wont depreciate that quickly.
  8. I'm turning 26 and I have just put down a deposit for one. Can't wait to pick it up! and yes.. the 350GT is better looking than the 350Z. PLUS.. it's rare! 350Z is everywhere...
  9. I have BC coilovers in my Accord and they are awesome. The ride comfort is almost like stock but firmer and much less body roll. I have had them in the car for almost a year now and got no problems at all, no noice, no leaks all is good. If I was after a set of coilovers for the V35, BC is a no brainer. And they are extremely good value too for what they are.
  10. looks like the spec.dock is exactly what I need! Does anyone know who sells those locally?
  11. Were you the one I saw on Saturday with ur dad looking at the blue R34? I've also bought a V35 from them. Nice guys to deal with and they are definitely not dodgy lilke others.
  12. Autobahn + Porsche = Heaven!!! On the Autobahn 200kph is a normal cruising speed. You see nannies in their 60s do that in their Audi wagons.
  13. I just put a deposit down on a 03 V35 Premium Manual with 70k on the clcok. It has brembos, leather, TV/Sat, and some lip spoilers (guess they are OEM) among other things. The kms were genuine as I got them to show me the official import papers, don't know what you call them but they are in Japanese. The deal was 26k drive away with 5 year warranty thrown in. I hope that's an ok price and not a ripper!
  14. No worries..4 wheels still ok...
  15. Where did you the 7l/100km from? 9l/100km is a poorer fuel consumption figure than 7l/100km. If 75 litres is good for 800km as some say here it is pretty decent, about 9l/100km.
  16. Thanks for the replies guys... I found them to be quite trustworthy too. But they only take about 1k off their advertised price though. Did you guys manage to haggle much at all?
  17. Hi all, has anyone dealth with Southern Special Vehicles? They are importer for Nissan cars but they also do a small volume of other makes. Just want to get some feedback on them as you know some importers are dodgy. I am interested in a V35 they have there. Appreciate all comments. Cheers
  18. how big is the v35 fuel tank?
  19. 03 car with only 14k on the clock? That sounds a bit.. you know what I mean.
  20. Just curious, where did you guys get your V35 from? dealers or import on your own? I'm in the market for one too but it's so hard to find one that hasn't had its odometer wound back.
  21. I'm also in the market for a manual V35 coupe. But it's just so hard to find one that hasn't had its odometer wound back. 80% of the V35s on carsales have around 25-30ks on the clock which is just so unreal. I have no experience importing vehicles and would prefer not to wait 4-5 months for a car. A decent untampered V35 is really very hard to find these days.
  22. Is the back of the display transparent? like the BMW ones?
  23. Yeap just do it! I have seen a GTR in Matte black and it looked mint. Should go well with the V35 too I reckon
  24. Hi all, I'm very keen in a black V35 that Allimports have on sale. It looks good from all the high detail pics that they sent me and is of the specs that I want. Problem is I have heard stories of shonky dealers and how they would back odometer, dodgy warranty and stuffs.. I am based in Melbourne and these guys are in Sydney. So it'd be good to get some of info from those who have dealt with them before. If all is well I might make a trip there to check the car out in person and make sure it is what they say it is. Any feedbacks appreciated.
