^ 19 inch wheels are standard from series 2 onwards.

Sounds like a 2nd gear synchro is on its way out. Oil change won't help you will need to replace the 2nd gear synhros.

Does it happen only when the engine is warm? Could be just a dirty throttle body. It happened on mine and I took out the TB and give it a good clean. Solves the problem.

Does this happen only on high speed cruising? It could also be the fuel pressure regulator not supplying sufficient fuel to the engine when you open the throttle.

As do the R35s also I think...

Just wondering, it is ok to mix fuel of the same RON, as in mixing Shell V Power and BP Ultimate for example? sometimes when you are running low on fuel you have no choice but to fill up at the next nearest servo.

Epic turnout. I think at the meet point there were about 30 cars. We literally took up the whole stretch of Warburton road lol. All in all a great run with almost no traffic going towards up the spurs.

Manual is a pain in the arse in stop start peak hour traffic but heaps of fun on weekends around the twisty mountain roads. In fact soooo much fun it's worth the pain. What to do.. cant afford a weekend sports car and an auto daily so just have to live with it for the moment.

Interested in wheels and coilovers if your willing to sell them separately.

Regarding the nothy feel and heavy clutch of the gearbox I guess that's probably cuz I was so used to my old ford focus gearbox. Aren't those items like CD player, power window etc covered by the warranty? My driver's side window won't come up after it went fully down. But this does not happen all the time and it's a bugger for me to claim warranty for it as it works every time I take it to the shop!

I must say the cluth's engagement point is a bit high compared to other manuals that I have driven, the cluth pedal a bit stiff for my liking and the gearbox is quite notchy. As this is the first Skyline I own I am not sure if all previous model Skylines are like this. It does take awhile to master it and learn how to smooth out take off and gear changes. Now after almost 2 months of ownership I have began to like the gearbox. All those things that I have mentioned just make the drive much sportier and more engaging and precise. It's a Skyline after all, not some Corolla shopping cart lol.
