  1. The manual is actually not that bad in daily traffic. I use mine as a daily. The reward you get from the manual box on twisty roads is enough to offset the inconvenience in rush hour traffic.
  2. Best is to go test drive it yourself. Essentially they share the same engine and transmission as the 350z.
  3. Looks good with the 20 inch R35 rims. Just need a cf hood to finish off the look.
  4. Hi all, there was a problem with my earlier thread. Got some error while posting new topic but I think it has been rectified now. Anyway.. my v35 coupe Check Engine Light is on. Prior to that happening my driver's side power window wouldn't go up but I have managed to get it up now after slamming the door real hard while holding the window switch up. But before doing that I was popping out the fuses and checking them one by one for blown fuse. Although I didn't find any blown fuse but I have accidentally inserted the O2 sensor fuse in the wrong slot. I put the fuse in the next slot which is not used instead. Now I have put it back into the correct slot. I think that was the cause of the Check Engine Light. But after putting all the fuses back into order the light still won't go away. Does it supposed to go away by itself or I need to take it to the shop and get it cleared? Also just to make sure my fuses are in the right place, would anyone be kind enough to take a photo of their fuse box and put it on here so that I could compare? The fuse box is located underneath the steering wheel next to the accelerator pedal. You won't miss it. My fuse box is attached. Thanks and much appreciated.
  5. Nissan never had a flat six turbo
  6. My V35 coupe driver's side power window won't come up. Does anyone know where the fuse for the driver's side power window is?
  7. The NSX in Transformer 2.
  8. LOL so next time we can all cruise down Hume in a close pack doing 150 and we'll all be fine..
  9. Gunmetal R32 at the intersection of waverley rd and blackburn rd.
  10. Thanks for the tip I will give them a ring!
  11. ^ why not? what oil should I use for 6mt then?
  12. Nissan quote me $260 to change my 6mt transmission oil. For a full flush it's $460. I was thinking if I should just buy the oil from Nissan and take it somewhere else to do it if that's cheaper. Can workshops do a full flush?
  13. I'm in. Haven't hit the spurs for awhile...
  14. ^ Don't know where you got that from but mine's fuel consumption is excellent. Under normal driving in day to day traffic it is even on par with my old 2.2l accord auto.
  15. So your saying the 350z is gay too? The V and the R are just different type of cars. The VQ engine is probably the one of the best N/A V sixers around just like the RB is one of the best turbo inline 6s. They are different and great in their own ways. If a daily wasn't what I was after I would have bought the R32/R33 as they are more focused and hardcore. The V is much more refined and suits better as a daily but also not far off the mark in terms of performance. And this is the market that the V was aiming for.
  16. Is there shift indicator on the JDM V35 also? I always thought it's only available on the G35. Man I gotta check this out tonight!
  17. Reefton Spur
  18. ACtually I wonder why they took away the Brembos from 2004 onwards?
  19. xtc your right. rev up only available for the yanks..
  20. lol you had the warm start engine stall issue too? happened to me when I drove it home from the dealer. it was found out later the problem was caused by carbon build up on the throttle body. Fortunately the dealer took care of it. winter = no motivation. same here...
  21. ^ yeah the front fender protection cover only.. my bad but I still cbf taking out the wheels lol..
  22. I'm in the exact same situation as topic starter. Wanna replace parker with white LEDs but it seems like it's not quite straight forward. I read the manual and the instructions say remove the front fender to get to it. But in order to do that I have to remove the wheel first damn it..
  23. Spotted silver R34 today on the GOR heading towards Apollo Bay.
  24. No.. I'm talking about the 'tick' sound when you start moving.. taken from the v35 manual... The anti-lock brake system consists of electronic sensors, electric pumps, and hydraulic solenoids controlled by a computer. The computer has a built-in diagnostic feature that tests the system each time you start the engine and move the vehicle at a low speed in forward or reverse. When the self-test occurs, you may hear a clunk noise and/or feel a pulsation in the brake pedal. This could be the sound that you are talking about.
