  1. i laughed hard at this on a side note, pulled over a week ago - 60 in a 50 zone, nice girl let me go without a warning or a lecture.
  2. haha. recently replaced all of the dash lights at 2am only to realise the fuse blew as i left for home (a 45 min drive). was interesting trying to spot my speed via the passing street lights
  3. ey mate, that did it. i've been driving around with cluster perspex cover off (and that plastic surround covering it) because i'm replacing the cover soon and didn't want to bother with the hassle of taking off everything. thanks
  4. what's involved is an unrealistic expectation of drivers to check their rear mirror every .5 seconds. stalling is a critical (you're allowed 2), the test car's setups are horrible and a lot harder than driving in something you are used to - if you can, use your own car - the pedals in the car I tested felt like pushing a 50kg cement block every time I changed gears. They also have a potential to use Camry's (which happen to be the harbingers of death), so I wouldn't recommend it. ps. they might also ask you to do a hill start (hard, I know)
  5. mine was $51 for changing auto license to manual, and i (luckily) got to book a session 2 days after calling. had to drive an hour to get to the centre, but the one closest to me was booked out for 2 months. The way I see it, if you're going to drive a manual import on P's, sooner or later you'll get pulled over and you can either have them find nothing wrong with you and have nothing to pin you on, or get 3 fines and x demerit points for something you could have avoided by taking a 20 minute test. book test asap tbh.
  6. looking for the cluster for an r34 (either transmission, only looking for the perspex cover).
  7. don't think contesting would work as you said "No reason" when he asked you why, insinuating that you are just a prick trying to jump ahead. Then again with the auto license (First thing I did when I got my r34 - on the same day in fact - was drive straight to VICroads and do the manual test). ps bad luck
  8. hey guys, Recently put in a new stereo (and dash lights), I originally thought it was something to do with the lights but when I unplugged the stereo, they worked fine. it was the "tail" fuse that was blowing. anyone know what I did wrong with the stereo wiring to make it blow? My thoughts are something to do with the grounding wire but my knowledge is very limited. Any help appreciated, thanks.
  9. ey guys, looking for the perspex window cover that covers your dials for an R34 (don't know if it makes a difference but it's a 2001 25 GT). thanks
  10. black r34 gtt female driver on tuesday in the city outside the audi dealership / army recruiting place
  11. at least he paid the full $30 for the parking ticket.
